Integrity Bites: Attack of The Independents – » The Australian Independent Media Network

Conclusion: You Are What You Do The current government has a tenuous relationship with integrity. Morrison could not lie straight in bed, as his remarks on the campaign trail referenced above suggest. As Senator Wells said ‘the fish stinks from the head’. The refusal to introduce a federal corruption watchdog, along with the terrible arguments against it, speaks volumes about the Morrison Government. This cabal of (allegedly) corrupt corporate criminals must be removed and a powerful, retrospective, non-partisan watchdog introduced.

At Morrison’s media party, there’s no such thing as a ‘free’ drink

Morrison hosts his “unnamed” team of supportive churnalists at his secret and and very private “free drinks party”. Bussed them in and got busted by an electorate ” local voter” who he called a “trespassing ALP apparatchik”. The pitbull came out and Morrison bared his teeth, called the AFP and demanded some action. However the voter was deemed legal and innocent of everything and Morrison like bullies simply “over reacted” giving the game away, displaying yet again his true nature.

For the sake of impartiality, the media must extricate itself from the vortex of the Prime Minister’s “influence”, writes Dr Jennifer Wilson. On Tuesday evening, Prime Minister Scott Morrison hosted a private drinks party for select journalists covering the election campaign. The party was held in a pub in Penrith, and the journalists were bussed to the venue. We only know this because an uninvited young man, Adisen Wright, gate-crashed the party and filmed his encounter with Scott and later the AFP.

Scott Morrison’s Lies, Character and Incompetence (part 2) – » The Australian Independent Media Network

I have never seen a Prime Minister have so many people from their own party so disappointed with them like I am witnessing with Mr Morrison, and I have been following Australian politics since 1975. I wrote to the Prime Minister by email on Friday, 8 April 2022 in which I not only asserted he was unfit to hold office, and to immediately call an election, but I also raised these points about Mr Towke’s interview with Mr Aly of The Project on 6 April 2022 which Mr Morrison has not answered:

Scott Morrison and the dirt file he gave to Murdoch’s media to win pre-selection in 2007. Starring Sam Dastyari and Senator Fierravanti-Wells – Kangaroo Court of Australia

The Stat Dec Morrison said he’d sign, but walked back on, was never really pursued in the Main Stream Media. Yet he called for those that actually signed stat decs to be charged and prosecuted, but he “never” went to the police and issued a formal complaint. How fake and like Trump is Morrison?

Scott Morrison has in recent days accused Michael Towke of the criminal offence of lying in a statutory declaration but has not gone to the police. Why? Morrison says Towke’s allegations are “bitter and malicious slurs” and if that is the case then Towke has committed a crime and also defamed Morrison and he could sue. But Morrison is doing neither, gone to the police or sued, at this stage.

Scott Morrison’s Lies, Character and Incompetence – » The Australian Independent Media Network

PART 1

This article will be broken up into 4 different sections: 1) Morrison’s lies, 2) Morrison’s character, 3) Morrison Government incompetence and 4) Media. In short compass, indeed call it an executive summary, I believe there is overwhelming evidence Mr Morrison lies to the degree that it should be called pathological, which of itself militates against his fitness of character to hold office, but then there are also very concerning alleged character flaws raised by members of his own party which is also may militate against his fitness for office, once proven. The Morrison Government is also extremely incompetent, and whilst some people may allege that incompetence can be taken to greater heights of accountability or culpability, in my view limiting my opinion to incompetence is enough for them to be voted comprehensively out of office. Finally, I consider our mainstream media, or Fourth Estate, to be suffering from condensed ownership problems, biased reporting in favour of the Liberal Party and as a result, the Australian public has lost faith in the Fourth Estate. Okay, so away we go.

Fact check: Anne Rushton’s false and misleading unemployment claims

fact check

Why Morrison smirks and smears at a trusted FACT CHECKER

The facts: Unemployment by Prime Minister First, the claims themselves. Senator Ruston said, “You’ve only got to look at the history of the Labor Party. Notoriously they’ve always presided over … higher unemployment rates.” TND found that this claim is false. Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows Labor has not always presided over higher unemployment rates than the Coalition. In fact, unemployment fell to 4 per cent twice under Labor in 2008 – an equal record low to February 2022 (the current rate). Looking at averages, unemployment was 5.1 per cent under Labor’s last term from 2008 to 2013, compared to 6.3 per cent under John Howard’s term from 1996 to 2007. Under the current Coalition government, which came into office in 2013 with Tony Abbott as prime minister, the jobless rate has averaged at 5.6 per cent.

Scott Morrison

The problem for Morrison is a “New Beginning” is streaks ahead of what we have already suffered under Morrison’s leadership. Anthony Albanese was Deputy PM when Australia’s Economy was No1 in the world and Taxes were much lower than the LNP’s today. So Albo isn’t a blank page he was a Minister who looked after infrastructure for 6 years, never late and always on time. He was  there when almost a historic record number of Bills were negotiated and passed by the Gillard government.

He was there when Morrison created the world’s harshest treatment ever handed out to Asylum Seekers labeled “illegals” with total disregard to the agreement signed in the UN on Human Rights. There when all we heard from the LNP was Nope Nope Nope and that the Sky was falling in because of a paltry deficit of only $200 bn compared with the $1Tn today. Morrison was present when the “No Cuts” lies were being trumpeted and “ditch the bitch” was an LNP’s slogan. There when the NBN was turned into a Frankensteinian patchwork of a monster and present when Abbott was demoted and he was elevated. And there, yes there again, when Turnbull was stabbed in the back and fell on his sword. Morrison was always lurking when the LNP couldn’t possibly have a woman Julie Bishop as a leader a reminder that Morrison was present when a rumored Muslim couldn’t represent the seat Morrison wanted even though Towk really a Christian had 80% of the branch vote. Yes, we all sure do, and well, know who Scott Morrison is now.

The last time Morrison faced an electoral contest, he donned a baseball cap and jetted around the country telling voters not to vote for Bill Shorten. That was it. That was the pitch. The bill Australia can’t afford. Morrison was the ultimate blank page.

Best to be direct. The worst of Morrison is right up there with the worst I’ve seen in two decades of political reporting. That’s the truth. Genuinely, terrible.

Let’s recap these past three years.

‘He got desperate’: new details of Morrison’s alleged dirty campaign

Morrison steps forward to say ” I will sign a stat dec” then walks back on the claim. Knowing full well he could then be faced with a more detailed investigation and charged with perjury

Mr Towke sensationally claimed that a member of Mr Morrison’s cabinet had sent him an unsolicited statement of support since his account of what transpired in the Cook preselection first emerged last week. “This person is a Minister of the Crown,” Mr Towke said. “[They said] ‘I just want you to know, I believe you’.”

New claims Scott Morrison sought to exploit anti-Muslim sentiment | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

Scott Morrison has been accused of seeking to exploit anti-Muslim sentiment. Picture: Channel 10

Reports of the meeting first emerged in 2011, with claims Mr Morrison urged the shadow cabinet to capitalise on the electorate’s growing concerns about “Muslim immigration”, “Muslims in Australia” and the “inability” of Muslim migrants to integrate. Then-opposition leader Tony Abbott was not at the meeting, but deputy leader, Julie Bishop, and the former immigration minister, Philip Ruddock, strongly disagreed with the suggestion, pointing out the Coalition had long supported a non-discriminatory immigration policy. Liberal sources said at the time Mr Morrison told the shadow cabinet meeting on December 1 at the Ryde Civic Centre that the Coalition should ramp up its questioning of “multiculturalism” amid deep voter concerns.

“I’m going to stop you there. I’ve already addressed this issue today. It is an ugly and repugnant lie,” Mr Morrison said.

“I reject it absolutely 100 per cent and my record of working with the Muslim community in Sydney in particular speaks volumes for my track record. Any suggestion to the contrary, I find utterly offensive. Thank you.”

But just 24 hours later, he confirmed he had raised concerns over the “anti-Muslim” sentiment of voters during a 2010 shadow cabinet meeting, but insisted it was only to “address them, not exploit them”.

Mr Morrison confirmed the discussions with The Project’s Waleed Aly in March 2019.

It was the first time the PM has admitted the discussions on “anti-Muslim” sentiments occurred, after describing claims he had sought to capitalise on the fears as “an ugly and disgusting lie” just 24 hours earlier.

In the interview, Aly asked: “Who is lying? You say that this never happened. You’ve called it a smear and a lie. Who is lying?”

Morrison’s misogyny, racism and bullying won’t disappear with a stat dec

1 He won’t bring on a defamation suit. The examination would destroy him

2 He doesn’t demand charges be brought for the signing of false Stat Decs. Because they’re not.

3 He offers to sign one himself but hasn’t. He’s merely “Posturing”!!

4 Can a PM be charged for signing a false Stat Dec?

Scott Morrison’s willingness to sign a statutory declaration over accusations of racism feels invalid considering his track record of lying, writes Dr Jennifer Wilson. THE PRIME MINISTER of Australia, Scott Morrison, announced on Sunday that he is prepared to sign a statutory declaration that he did not act in a racist manner towards the man he defeated for pre-selection in the seat of Cook in 2007.

Scott Morrison engulfed by racism accusation as campaign looms

Scott Morrison

Last week Liberal Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells called Mr Morrison unfit to be Prime Minister and said he had campaigned against a preselection rival, Michael Towke, because of his Lebanese heritage. The contents of statutory declarations signed in 2016 by Mr Towke and a preselector, Scott Chapman, were made public this weekend – first reported by The Saturday Paper – and included claims Mr Morrison had made comments about the political downsides of Mr Towke’s race while spreading misplaced rumours that he was a Muslim. “These are quite malicious and bitter slurs, which are deeply offensive, and I reject them absolutely,” Mr Morrison said while campaigning in Tasmania on Sunday.

PM denies attacking 2007 preselection rival’s Lebanese ethnicity

Does Morrison even play Cricket? After the past 3 years who do you believe the man who says he “was chosen by God” “doesn’t lie” or legally binding Stat decs signed to say ScuMo used Racism and Ethnicism to gain pre-selection in his want to be a politician? The LNP used similar tactics when attacking  Africans in Australia Dutton never really mentioning the fact that like Lebanese they were in the main Christians and even more educated than the average Australian. It may have been done publicly by Peter Dutton but Morrison was his leader and said nothing.

The Prime Minister has again rejected claims he made racist comments during a 2007 preselection battle for his NSW lower house seat of Cook. Outgoing Liberal Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells last week made the accusations under parliamentary privilege, claiming Scott Morrison told party members they couldn’t have a Lebanese person as a candidate. The Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday published details from two statutory declarations signed in 2016 about the 2007 preselection campaign. The declarations claim Mr Morrison said the Liberal Party should not back his main opponent because of his Lebanese background and rumours he was a Muslim. Mr Morrison on Wednesday denied Senator Fierravanti-Wells’ initial accusations, labelling the comments as “rubbish”.

‘I don’t think anyone believes the PM’: Labor steps up attack on PM

Morrison

Anne Ruston readily makes statements without naming anyone for support. Nevertheless she’s pointing at the LNP for the accusations and claiming that witnessed signed Stat Decs are lies without any basis to her claims.

Morrison isn’t taking any legal action, why? The people making the so called “false” declarations haven’t been charged. We know “I don’t lie” Morrison has a history of lying and covering his past up with NDAs and we know the accusations aren’t coming from the ALP. We also know that Morrison is doinga Trump and simply denying and deflecting everything. So the probability that the accusations are true seems to pass the pub test but the denials don’t.

Social Services Minister Anne Ruston said it was a ‘”political hit-job”. “It is disappointing to see such a calculated, political hit-job on the Prime Minister on the eve of the election by his enemies,” she told Sky News. “I don’t think there has been any prime minister who has done more for the multicultural communities of Australia, including the Lebanese community.”

Election 2022: Why Scott Morrison’s character assassination by Concetta Fierravanti-Wells is so powerful

Illustration: Andrew Dyson

Australians don’t mind rascals larrikins and rogues but they sure as hell hate holier than thou liars that use their religious faith as smokescreens to hide their true nature. Shane Warne could do anything and he was forgiven as was Bob Hawke. We even learned to forgive Malcolm Fraser over time and it wasn’t because the LNP renounced him but because he was truly remorseful and showed it. However, we never forgave just forgot Billy McMahon but not so John Kerr, John Howard, Tony Abbott or Henry Bolte.

Morrison thought he had Anthony Albanese on the run over his refusal to hold a review into the treatment of Kimberley Kitching, a real issue that will not go away. Now the Labor leader is handed a political gift from one of the toughest conservatives in the business. “Morrison is not fit to be Prime Minister.” The Labor attack ads won’t be hard to make; they can leave it to the intern.

‘Autocratic agenda’: Morrison faces mounting bullying allegations

Bullying Scott Morrison has been accused of using public resources in a party political fight.

John Howard courted religious cults like the Exclusive Bretheren who like Morrison also saw themselves as  members of God’s “elect”, saviors but not bullies or liars.

With an election campaign set to be announced within days, Prime Minister Scott Morrison finds himself fighting fresh claims about his character, including that he has an “autocratic” and “bullying” agenda and treats opponents disrespectfully.

Morrison’s ART of the DEAL. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

Senator Lambie wept in late 2019 as she voted in favour of repealing the laws. Prime Minister Scott Morrison refused to reveal at the time if there was a “secret deal” to allow the refugees to eventually resettle in NZ. He has repeatedly denied any plans to accept the offer – including while standing with NZ PM Jacinda Ardern in early 2019. “When it comes to the New Zealand arrangement … the Australian government has no plans to take up that arrangement whatsoever,” he said. On Thursday, Senator Lambie confirmed that a deal did exist – claiming that Mr Morrison had even told her she could go to jail if she revealed it.

Lambie’s secret deal with PM revealed

Threatened with Jail Jacqui Lambie can now speak up. That’s the nature of Scott Morrison’s bargaining powers he calls leadership.

A recording at centre of bullying claims Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie has lifted the lid on her secret deal with Scott Morrison to release over 400 asylum seekers from Nauru and Manus Island, revealing the Prime Minister told her she risked jail if she told the truth about it.  But today’s announcement that New Zealand will receive up to 150 refugees a year, more than nine years after its offer to take them was first made, has freed her to tell the full story. The announcement applies to refugees in an Australian offshore detention facility on Nauru, as well as those currently housed in temporary regional processing centres.

In an exclusive interview with news.com.au, Ms Lambie said she kept the secret, and the Prime Minister kept the details of the agreement in a safe in Parliament House. She said it included a private agreement from Mr Morrison to accept the New Zealand offer.

“My demand was to ensure that by the time his term was finished, to make sure that everybody, unless they were a security risk, was off those bloody islands,’’ she said.

“I couldn’t tell the story of what had happened because otherwise the deal’s off. That means that people would have been still stuck there.”

Morrison’s desperate attempt to weaponise the death of Senator Kitching

WOULD THE REAL GUTLESS LEADER PLEASE STAND? Should the man who was, in fact, too gutless to face the victims of the flood catastrophe, who are still living in apocalyptic conditions, be pointing an appendage of any kind at others? As mentioned, the approach of using its own weaknesses to undermine the strengths of its opponents is an oft-employed and historically successful political tactic by the Coalition, dating back to the Howard era. In this way, any suggestion of a crack in the “enemy’s” armour, in this case, suggestions of Labor Party bullying, is amplified to such a degree that the spotlight moves away from bigger concerns, providing fodder for the willing media and creating a false sense of equivalency. Let’s not fall for it again.

Scott Morrison and Brian Houston: paying the wages of sin

Morrison has proved he’s the worst judge of the character of any PM on record. His best friends who he employed and holidayed with were fanatical QAnon members. While Brian Houston, the corrupt leader of Hillsong, was up close and personal with Morrison who was trying to get him a ticket to Trump’s White House dinner. Scotty from Marketing was far closer to Trump than Biden and he totally pissed off the French President without a care. A totally transactional man our PM was cocked and ready to take the LNP to the right of Putin if it guaranteed him votes he needed to stay in power. He thinks Australia didn’t notice his fake empathy when televised through a very narrow security in Lismore when his security kept thosr damn people away .

For years Scott Morrison has publicly praised Brian Houston and cultivated links with Hillsong. Now that the Pentecostalist leader has been forced out in disgrace, the PM has nowhere to hide.

Morrison road tested his election pitch last week and, dear reader, it’s not aimed at you

A pitch to the “Quiet Australians” underpinned Scott Morrison’s attack on Anthony Albanese’s transformation.

Morrison’s campaign of Complacency. Yet another Bingle Scotty from Marketing seen crying out  “Where the bloody hell are you”. Everything we’ve experienced and the media what the media has reported these past three years have been “False Facts”.

How fucking unoriginal is that and that alone is why he’s in a wilderness of his own making. He’s always been just a shit for brains salesman.

Unlike Albanese, Morrison told his home crowd, “I’m not pretending to be someone else – I’m still wearing the same glasses, sadly the same suits, and I weigh about the same”. Because “when you’re prime minister, you can’t pretend to be anyone else, you’ve got to know who you are otherwise how on earth are other people going to know.

”Perhaps the complacency of the Prime Minister’s team, who think they can get away with the same campaign again. But more likely, he reckons, the complacency of Albanese’s team that voters will trust he’s not pretending to be something he isn’t. The complacency of voters, who really like Australia and want it restored, not renewed. And most of all, the complacency of the commentators who the Prime Minister has dubbed people who are “constantly agonising and talking their country down”.

Fog of War: how Australian taxpayers enriched Putin’s fracking mate – Michael West Media

Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg.

At long last, the Australian government has added one of Putin’s claque to the sanctions list, Origin’s fracking partner in the Beetaloo Basin. And dirty dealings in a dirty industry don’t end there. The case highlights the massive government outlay required for otherwise uneconomic projects, writes Kurt Johnson. It’s worth asking exactly why the Australian government dithered until today to sanction oligarch Viktor Vekselberg. This associate of Vladimir Putin, owner of world’s largest collection of Fabergé eggs, has a significant minority stake in Falcon Oil and Gas Australia. The company, in a joint venture with operator Origin Energy which together own three permits in the Northern Territory’s Beetaloo Basin, the keystone project of the government’s “Gas-fired Recovery Strategy”.

Scott Morrison wears a hard hat and face mask during a visit to a mine

Should we be surprised? His church has been rumoured to have  called an emergency meeting because  it’s about to implode due to yet another outrageously immmoral scandal? Not the one about his mentor, it’s head Brian, stepping down, or his besties being QAnon. Morrison himself has almost more nondisclosure agreements trailing him than Donald Trump. What will Scotty from Marketing do for a job after this one? He’ll need a better disguise when sending in his next application?

Why does the Australian prime minister affect more costume changes than a Ru Paul’s Drag Race cabaret act in an exploding dress factory? Because, uh, he wants you to know he’s not pretending to be anyone else. He actually said this – aloud! In front of a camera! – on an episode of Paul Murray Live. He was criticising the Labor leader, Anthony Albanese, his rival in the upcoming election, for having the raw, transformative temerity to lose a bit of weight, get new glasses and buy some new suits.

Average Australian worker went backwards by $800 in 2021, says ACTU chief Michele O’Neil | Wages growth | The Guardian

Michele O'Neil

Morrison says the next 10 years will be tougher so $800 is a good outcome and unemployment is down. Forget the fact workers have used up their savings and can’t pay their bills. Almost a million are working multiple jobs with no benefits. While workers have gone  backwards Corporations and shareholder stocks boomed and only benefited less than 10% of the pop in real terms.

Australia’s soaring cost of living is outstripping wage increases, leaving the average worker more than $800 worse off in 2021, the steepest cut in real terms for more than 20 years, according to Australian Council of Trade Unions president, Michele O’Neil.

NSW floods: Morrison’s most fatal flaw on show in flood response

“Australia is getting hard to live in because of these disasters,” Scott Morrison said earlier this week.

Don’t mention the Climate or the Change

“I think it is just an obvious fact,” declared the Prime Minister this week as he toured flood-ravaged Lismore, that “Australia is getting hard to live in because of these disasters”. What a frankly astonishing admission that is. How unvarnished. It isn’t relative or euphemistic. It isn’t “Australia is being affected by climate change”, or “we’re facing more natural disasters”. It’s absolute. “Getting hard to live in” has a ring of resignation about it. It’s like given the choice, humans would really rather live somewhere else.

Scott Morrison is the gift that keeps on giving – » The Australian Independent Media Network

He says people shouldn’t expect help after flooding and the army is not waiting just around the corner to help them.

It’s like he doesn’t want to be PM anymore?

He seems bent on pissing off every sector of the Australian populace.

He is a do-nothing leader!

He cannot lead because he is not a leader.

Perhaps he wanted the job so he could swan about with world leaders and travel the world at the taxpayer’s expense.

He and his wife refer to The Lodge and Kirribilli as “their home”.

He claims people want less government or small government and he does so at a time when nature, climate inaction and science are all proving that what every country needs is a big government that takes effective charge and acts on behalf of all citizens and at scale so no one is left behind.

He is simply not up to the job!

Scott Morrison circus fails to impress Lismore, a town that has lost everything | Australia east coast floods 2022 | The Guardian

Kym Strow and her wife Sarah Jones in their Lismore home. Strow says people need a leader who gives support and hope. ‘People sure as fuck shouldn’t have to ask for it.’

Morrison’s stop in Lismore turned out to be yet another very, very controlled photoshoot. Promises along with his “it’s not my fault and stop blaming the ADF” didn’t fool anyone. Lismore and other flooded areas were told by Peter Dutton to “go fund yourselves” and they did. Helicopters flew in where Dutton said it was too difficult for the ADF. Supplies were trucked in when the mud army knew government aid wasn’t coming. Charity, was forthcoming where emergency government funding wasn’t to be seen and as usual, the Morrison government was MIA. All they were doing was damage control in front of cameras.

All this was a result of the L-NP’s years of stripping the Public Service of any ability of coordinated action and handing it over to private contractors for their generous support of the government’s L-NP fighting fund.

Morrison plans east coast base for nuclear powered submarines

Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Is Morrison announcement an American decision?  A $10Bn base plus ongoing payments to house and rent their submarine fleet and manpower?  We have already spent $3bn just planning, advertising and cancelling ours and got absolutely nowhere other than destroying our relationship with France. Is it any wonder Morrison has never been seen as a man of action just a stumble bum?

Mr Morrison will note there would be economic benefits from the submarine base that would also be used by visiting nuclear-powered US and UK submarines. Among the criteria set for the location of the base, Mr Morrison will say its proximity to a large population base so as to recruit and retain a substantially larger uniformed submarine workforce.

MORRISON & McKENZIE ARE BOTH BULLSHITTING ABOUT THE FLOODS !

Today Ben Fordham interviewed Morrison. Fordham asked for confirmation of Bridget McKenzie’s figure of 5,000 ADF on stand-by. He then said he heard that only 455 personnel were on the ground in Northern NSW and asked where the rest were.

Morrison replied “ah well, no the figures are higher than that Ben”. He added that 2,000 were on stand-by on the ground in both NSW and south east QLD.

After further probing, it turns out the 2,000 were ‘deployable’ by the States,

As usual, Morrison hand-balled the problem to the Army – he said “what we’ve done is we’ve put Brigadier General Galloway in as head of a task force for deploying ADF Support staff.

He even gave it another of his customary ‘feel-good handles’ – Operation Flood Assist! Really? Bit of a misnomer if you ask us! We would have thought the flood needs no help at all – but our communities do! Once again, Morrison just does not get it. Nor does he care.

To clarify matters, we checked the Defence Department media centre (as of this morning) for the truth. Here are some facts that Morrison and McKenzie should have known:

Total personnel deployed on task in QLD: 1378

Total deployed on task in NSW: 512 (pretty damned close to Ben Fordham’s 455 & proving the PM wrong again)

The Defence Dept also have a day-by-day list of tasks planned for both States. This sort of detail seems beyond our Federal Ministers and definitely beyond the miserable ramblings of the NSW Premier Perrottet this morning.

All in all, Fordham’s interview was far from revealing on anything important, full of Morrison bullshiza and illustrated quite clearly after all these days, that our northern citizens can not rely on anything practical or sensible from either Government. Once again, it is our emergency services and volunteers who will shoulder the burden alongside their community brothers and sisters.

We can only hope that our emergency services are enhanced and adequately equipped and supported in the future. Lord knows we will need them – and we wont have to wait 100 years!

QAnon followers are casting Putin in a positive light | Salon.com

Participants display Qanon flags at an event marking the 7th anniversary of the Pegida movement. The flag features the head of Russian President Putin, the Q for "Qanon" and the letter abbreviation WWG1WGA ("Where we go one we go all"). Meaning "Where one of us goes, we all go", or "One for all, all for one". With this, the Qanon followers evoke the cohesion of their community. (Matthias Rietschel/picture alliance via Getty Images)

The Morrison’s employed their Besties who were revealed to be QAnon members as far back as 2019.

The ABC’s Four Corners has delayed airing a program about the prime minister’s connection to a QAnon figure, but much of the detail is already on the public record.

While the International Criminal Court in The Hague is being called on to open an investigation into potential war crimes committed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, QAnon followers around the globe are praising him and casting him in a positive light. Though it might sound macabre, adherents of the bizarre and all-encompassing conspiracy movement believe that a major global crisis such as the current one is intrinsic to something they call the “Great Awakening,” a prophecy that forms the crux of the massive conspiracy that claims top Democratic leaders will one day be arrested for running a global sex trafficking ring.

Morrison roasted after British broadcaster’s ill-timed happy snap

This week, last week, no matter what week, Morrison gave 45 minutes of his personally very busy, and valuable time to Murdoch’s new star, and employee to be, on Sky News Pierce Morgan. Morrison had no time for the women of Australia who wanted to meet with him last year. He was “too busy”. No time for Brittany Higgins, and only forced time with Grace Tame which he wished never happened. There was plenty of time for his own 60 Minute Show being glorified by wife Jen of course.

Scott Morrison showed proof positive that he was subservient to Rupert Murdoch his puppet master but always the, lights and cameras. “Are you ready Mr  Morrison Lights Cameras action”  He’s our own  political Gloria Swanson totally self-interested and absorbed with no time available for his constituents unless they’re useful extras in one of endless photo-shoots.

The happy snap sparked an immediate barrage of criticism online. That prompted a hasty clarification from Morgan that the photo – despite being posted on Monday morning – was actually taken last week.“Here’s me with Labor leader & wannabe PM ⁦Anthony Albanese the night before. Both meetings occurred before Ukraine invasion & Queensland floods… so cool your indignant jets, Oz media,” he followed up later on Monday.Morgan and Mr Albanese reportedly met at a Sky News bash last week.

Scott Morrison net worth

Who is Scott Morrison? Never the Daggy Dad !!

Morrison had “urged the shadow cabinet to capitalize on the electorate’s growing concerns” about Muslims and appeal to the public perception of their “inability to integrate” to gain votes.

In February 2013, Morrison said that the police should be notified of where asylum seekers are living and that there should be strict guidelines for the behavior while they await the determination of their claims. The new code of conduct was released for more than 20,000 maritime arrivals living in the community on bridging visas.

2018 that Morrison asked for mitigation strategies to avoid granting permanent visas to 700 refugees. His office reported that there were 300 boats and 20,587 arrivals in 2013 to only 1 boat and 157 arrivals for all of 2014. The UNHCR expressed concerns that the practice may violate the Refugee Convention.

The annual refugee intake, , was reduced to 13,750, the level it had been in 2011–12. Morrison stated that “Not one of those places will go to anyone who comes on a boat to Australia […] they will go to people who have come the right way.” Morrison defended his use of the terms “illegal arrivals” and “illegal boats,” saying that “I’ve always referred to illegal entry … I’ve never claimed that it’s illegal to claim asylum.”

Morrison refused to answer questions about the status of asylum seekers or boats coming to and from Australia, often on the basis that he would not disclose “on water” or “operational” matters.

Australian Human Rights Commission delivered a report to the Government which found that Morrison failed in his responsibility to act in the best interests of children in detention during his time as Minister. The overarching finding of the inquiry was that the prolonged, mandatory detention of asylum seeker children caused them significant mental and physical illness and developmental delays, in breach of Australia’s international obligations.

In early December 2014, Morrison had the Migration and Maritime Powers Legislation Amendment  The bill gave Morrison more power than any previous minister in dealing with people seeking asylum in Australia, including the power to return asylum seekers to their place of origin, detain asylum seekers without charge, and refuse asylum seekers who arrive by boat access to the Refugee Review Tribunal.

‘Act of intimidation’: Australia demands answers from Beijing over laser incident

Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday confirmed that Australian diplomats and defence personnel had lodged complaints with Beijing.

Morrison and Dutton had no issue when we sent our air force to the Middle East to bomb and then call civilian death simply “collateral damage”. We killed, and are currently witnessing a court case on Australia’s criminal killings in Afghanistan. We support the Israeli IDF’s criminality in Gaza and the West Bank. But now the scream of “foul” is being trumpeted across our media! Foul for a simple laser warning on a RAAF plane by a Chinese cruiser. Morrison and Dutton really are a pair of theatrical clowns crying crocodile tears, and acting like Chicken Littles in order to impress us with their political prowess.

How quick was Morrison to brush the laser incident aside to reveal it’s real purpose an attack on the ALP and not on China? The man’s intentions are not misunderstood. It’s to say and do anything to “service” or mount Australia for another 3 years. He hasn’t managed anything but spin, his foot in his mouth, and playing the daggy dad for a full term.

Well Mr Morrison, great organizer, planner, and action man. Where are the agricultural workers you promised in June 2021 to pick and save the fruit Industry by 2021’s end. It’s approaching March Morrison and you haven’t provided any. Just as with the promised Covid Vaccines, the RATs ICAC, ADF deployment in aged-care and so many other things. Great management!!

“I can see it no other way than an act of intimidation, one that is unprovoked, unwarranted. And Australia will never accept such acts of intimidation,” Mr Morrison said, suggesting that China would react much more aggressively if Australia ever did that to a Chinese aircraft.

Scott Morrison takes a major political risk. We’ll soon find out of it pays off

Morrison the ad-man with no real political ideas other than to win. None on how to move a Nation forward but back, “Back to the Future” and channel Menzies. No surprise he’s finding high profile figures and supporters telling him to ” “Shuduppa his a Face”

It did not take long for the nation’s national security establishment to correct the record. In two extraordinary interventions the nation’s current spy boss, Mike Burgess, and one of Australia’s most respected ever public servants, Dennis Richardson, both accused the government of seeking to politicise national security at a cost to the national interest. ( Along with Twiggy Forrest who told him to stop )

The result was a perceptible drop in tempo.  Mr Morrison used the office of the Prime Minister of Australia to take a risk this week. His charged rhetoric about Australia’s largest trading partner (CHINA) risks exposing him to a public perception of a leader prepared to burn the house down for political advantage.

But has it paid off, by the cynical standards of political tactics? Being so reprimanded by authoritative voices on overstepping the bounds on national security has not burnished Mr Morrison’s prime ministerial image.

Coalition faces the final curtain

NZ sacked him, The Australian LNP Government sacked him, Gunna Morrison sure didn’t shine then and he hasn’t changed now!!

WITH THE L-NP TERM nearly over, receiving terrible reviews and slammed by critics for lack of policy, plot, character and action, the Morrison Government is floundering in the polls. Star player, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, is already being mooted as “the worst PM ever”.

Backstage, it’s a mess. Infighting has surfaced, Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce is eating his own words and a new faction has formed supplanting “the big swinging dicks” — they call themselves “the wee chamber-pot men”. Unsurprisingly, lead women in the Coalition are keeping quiet or running for cover.

“No comment”, “it wasn’t me”, “I don’t accept the premise of your question” or “I’ve never known Scotty to lie” are the only lines being issued by the PMO. Things are so dysfunctional that bagging China is the only way to get a solid “Hear! Hear!” of approval from the back bench. Yet, the “troupes” are no longer keen to man the turrets.

Scott Morrison supercharges his ‘reds under the bed’ election scare campaign

Scott Morrison in question time on Wednesday.

While the streets are running amok with a right-brigade protest no Left or “Commies ” are  in sight. Morrison is dredging up the old LNP political cherry that the Reds are coming to get us. It goes to show just how desperate and a ridiculous political thinkers they are. Nobody is buying that Scamo is the nice daggy dad from Cronulla anymore. Promotional photos no longer cut it and have made him look the poor mad man he is.

Buying subs and tanks go to show the LNP is keeping the Industrial Military complex happy along with mining because while yelling “China is coming” they selling coal to them. Morrisson has wanted to go down this fear-mongering path since 2005 and the Cronulla riots. Fixating on the Lebanese, who happened to be Christians, was his desired political tactic and not Reds under beds. Abbott did it with  the Russians and ignored the Chinese. Morrison and Dutton have decided on the Chinese and  they are going to save us with 121 new tanks and AUKUS. Have those tanks even been delivered? Has AUKUS been deployed? They have our biggest and best naval vessel break down in Tonga and it has taken a week to deploy 129 ADF of 1700 promised to aged-care.

There is currently only one political party stable, rational, steady and democratic enough to be employed to to govern and “It’s Time Again”

Not since Robert Menzies used his “reds under the bed” anti-communist campaign in the 1950s has an Australian Prime Minister been so determined to paint an Opposition Leader as a quisling for a perceived enemy. It is now clear that is precisely what Scott Morrison and his colleagues, floundering in the polls, are up to as the federal election draws near.

Australia Post boss Lucio Di Bartolomeo defends $170,000 bonuses for highly paid staff

The five employees who received retention bonuses in 2020-21 were all male, with one working in the executive team while the other four were senior managers.

Morrison’s silence is thunderous in its absence and his hypocrisy blinding. But then he gets a woman to protect him,yet he doesn’t do the same for women. He’s “focused”. He was when he said Christina Holgate needed to be sacked for $20,000 bonuses. But he’s allowed the men at Australia Post to simply give him the finger

This marks a stark contrast with the $20,000 spent by former chief executive Christine Holgate on Cartier watches for four senior employees in 2018. Ms Holgate resigned in November 2020 as a result of the watch controversy, which was fuelled by Prime Minister Scott Morrison condemning her actions on the floor of the Parliament.

Australia Post has defended rewarding highly paid staff with bonuses averaging almost $170,000 last financial year, with five senior employees receiving additional sums to keep them from being poached by a competitor.

A Senate estimates committee on Tuesday heard one senior Australia Post staff member would receive a $500,000 “retention bonus”, to be paid over three years, on top of his salary and annual performance bonus.

Peter Hartcher: Scott Morrison looks like he is losing control of his government

Illustration: John Shakespeare

Morrison has no answer. So he hands it over to the JEN MASTER at Peter Costello’s behest.

What does Scott Morrison stand for? He would say he stands for freedom of religion. But this week he proved incapable of delivering a legal protection for it.

He would say he stands for the protection of school kids from discrimination. But this week he showed he was prepared to allow transgender kids to suffer discrimination.

He would say he stands for a united government. But this week the government suffered a mutiny when five Liberal MPs crossed the floor of the House of Representatives to vote with Labor and the crossbench.

Morrison’s apology derails rape trial – » The Australian Independent Media Network

Yes it’s foot-in-mouth Smirko again doing what he does best and “fucking ” things up one day and then doing it again the next while saying “I didn’t do that”!!

Yet again many of us are asking ourselves, is Prime Minister Scott Morrison thoroughly ill-intentioned, or merely driven by blindly arrogant stupidity and incompetence? That we are forced to ask this question almost daily is in itself a serious indictment of the man, regardless of the answer. Of course, he could quite easily be both. Many of us who heard Morrison’s apology to Brittany Higgins in Parliament earlier this week were alarmed when he named the alleged victim of an alleged rape which is due to go to trial in June. The PM’s apology has been described by a leading defence barrister as without foundation, as the allegations have not yet been tested. There is now considerable doubt that, as a consequence of Morrison’s apology, a jury can be struck in the ACT where the trial is due to be held.

Scott Morrison’s week went from text revelations, to a failed bill, to a ukulele solo. These are the dying days of the 46th Parliament – ABC News

Scott Morrison stands with his eyes closed.

Morrison’s “Action-Man Plan” is  calling in Jen and the kids and playing the ukelele while getting his advisors to poll and prepare new list of “Gunna Do” promises to announce like he did before the last election. Ones that never got done like ICAC and waiting for Clive to “donate” millions and preference him.

The PM may be hoping that playing the ukulele on 60 Minutes on Sunday, and unleashing his “secret weapon” — his wife Jenny — will offer one last desperate chance for a reset.

Morrison’s Migration Act is cruel and compassionless

Who Scott Morrison is, and who he wants us to see him as. The Sell and the Product

The Australian Senate needs an education. The Australian nation needs to know. We must carry hearts and souls to the truth. Once in the know, the Australian people and the media can galvanise governments to do what is right — the common good, understand human rights as universal. I fight for as many as I can because I remember those who took their lives rather than be deported.

A few years ago, a 22-year-old former Iraqi refugee was to be deported. He was a young father of two living in Sydney. For alleged minor offences, he was detained at Villawood Immigration Detention Centre. One night, he was flown across the continent, away from family to Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre. He wasn’t supported and died by suicide. The detainees burnt Yongah Hill. I assisted the grief-stricken family. I organised their legal representation. They are suing the Commonwealth Government. But this will never bring back the young father — a life needlessly lost because of cruel policies. If there’s a Heaven, the so-called Christian-faith-based members of the Morrison Government will have a lot of explaining to do or be purgatory-bound.

Morrison’s misogyny continues despite apology

For Morrison “Style is Meaning” ” “Seeming”  more important than “Doing”

Despite his apology in Parliament, Scott Morrison has not changed and continues to behave in the same toxic and misogynistic manner that he always has, writes Hayden O’Connor.

* CONTENT WARNING: This article discusses rape

As recommended by the Jenkins Review, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Scott Morrison delivered an acknowledgement and apology to those who have been victims of bullying, sexual harassment and assault whilst working in our Federal Parliament. Apologies are nice but actions speak louder than words and Scott Morrison’s actions continue to prove that he is a heartless, self-centred misogynist. The Prime Minister’s words are at best meaningless, at worse complete lies and his apology is simply a calculated political decision. (POSTURING)

Federal election 2022: Does the Religious Discrimination Bill put Scott Morrison’s leadership at risk?

The attacks on Scott Morrison are coming from all sides of his party.

Will he call an early election to avoid the embarrassment of a spill?

The attacks on Morrison are coming from all sides. Moderates feel misled over Morrison’s promise last December to protect transgender children in religious schools when his draft law this week but his decision this week to drop that element from the religious freedom package. Conservatives see the conflicting positions and wonder whether the Prime Minister stands for anything.

Nothing to show for Morrison after week of self defeat

morrison

It has been more than 3000 days since the Coalition government first took power. And in the dying days of the 46th Parliament this week, we saw a government that had not so much gotten lost along the way, but no longer seemed like it ever had a reason for being in the first place. Scott Morrison has been promising to achieve two concrete policy objectives since he attained the Prime Ministership more than three years ago. The first was a law clarifying the boundaries between religious and personal freedoms in Australia and the second was to create a federal agency to crack down on government corruption. But at the death of his first full term as Prime Minister, Mr Morrison was able to combine two signature policy proposals into a singular blunder and end the week farther behind than he began.
