All of these compounds have the exact same effect on the human body as pure sugar, some would argue worse because they are being consumed by people who do not realise they are ingesting excess sugar. IN A PRESS RELEASE on 20 March, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that his Government is donating 70,000 tonnes of thermal coal to Ukraine, in response to a ‘direct request’ for the fuel, made through the Polish Prime Minister. Morrison said: And today, in response to a direct request from Ukraine, Australia will donate 70,000 tonnes of thermal coal. This will help Ukraine’s power generators operating and supplying electricity to the power grid at this critical time. They need that before the end of May and we have arranged the shipping for that to take place and are working with other countries to ensure it can get to Ukraine. So it’s our coal. We dug it up. We’ve arranged the ship. We’ve put it on the ship and we’re sending it there to Ukraine to help power up their resistance and to give that encouragement.

Coalition support is lower than it was during the Black Summer bushfires, a study has found. Just 32.2 per cent of respondents said they would vote for the government if an election was held in January, compared with 35.4 per cent in January 2020. It is also a sizeable drop from January 2021 at the height of the pandemic, when 40.3 per cent of respondent said they’d vote for the Liberal-National coalition. Lead author of the Australian National University study Professor Nicholas Biddle said with less than one in three respondents to back the incumbents, things did not look good for the coalition. “This is significantly lower than the 37 per cent who said they would vote for Labor, who would appear to have been in an election-winning position,” he said.

SA result is boost for Albanese, but he’s struggling with Kitching allegations

When the LNP Dirt Brigade can call on their MSM media propagandists to turn one tree into a forrest,  it becomes extremely evident the case of Kimberly Kitching of their level of desperation. Kitching never uttered any complaint or called for this level of publicity but the LNP’s own polls indicated Scott Morrison needed something to take the attention away from the shellacking the LNP was about to experience in South Sustralia.

Kitching’s death was weaponised for the purpose of political deflection and  gained the equivalent and undeserved front page attention the death of Shane Warne did for that purpose. It’s not that it lasted over a week but it actually kept the Labor victory in SA off the front pages. It shows the unequal battle the ALP always faces in an election but also the degree to which Scott Morrison and the Liberals have fucked up this past not 3 but 9 years.

Think of it this way: If Steven Marshall had had an unexpected victory, what would have been the reaction? People would have said it showed again how wrong polls can be. The result would have inserted a discount into assessments of Anthony Albanese’s chances. SA Labor’s win will be a psychological boost for the federal Opposition, and a further dampener on the government’s mood.

This week I witnessed the worst character traits of human behavior play out on my television screen as a Prime Minister in dire straits regarding his, and his party’s, popularity tried to weaponize a death for political gain, assisted by some elements of a partisan media which commenced with an article written by Shari Markson and published in The Australian on Wednesday, 16 March 2022. To my knowledge, Ms. Markson has never written a positive word about the ALP, and of course, the Murdochracy which owns The Australian has pinned its political colors to the mast supporting the Liberal Party since about 2009. To say the article and Mr. Morrison’s behavior was vile and distasteful is an understatement. Some of you may be feeling inclined to say, “Michael, you’re an ALP member”, which I am, and I am proud of it, but hear me out as this is an important statement I make for the future of our entire democracy, including for the Liberal Party.

On Sunday, she told ABC’s This Week she needed to speak out after watching her employer, Channel One, spread “lies” about the Ukraine war.

How fucking unoriginal is that and that alone is why he’s in a wilderness of his own making. He’s always been just a shit for brains salesman.

Unlike Albanese, Morrison told his home crowd, “I’m not pretending to be someone else – I’m still wearing the same glasses, sadly the same suits, and I weigh about the same”. Because “when you’re prime minister, you can’t pretend to be anyone else, you’ve got to know who you are otherwise how on earth are other people going to know.

”Perhaps the complacency of the Prime Minister’s team, who think they can get away with the same campaign again. But more likely, he reckons, the complacency of Albanese’s team that voters will trust he’s not pretending to be something he isn’t. The complacency of voters, who really like Australia and want it restored, not renewed. And most of all, the complacency of the commentators who the Prime Minister has dubbed people who are “constantly agonising and talking their country down”.

Weather is what happens for a day or a week. The more alarming number is one that is slightly lower, which is 50 degrees F. warmer than usual, and it concerns the Arctic, the north pole, not the south. You see the red areas of the map below? They are seriously not supposed to be there, especially at a time when the Arctic is still plunged into the long winter night:

Russia’s devastating and deadly assault over the past three weeks has forced nearly 10 million people in Ukraine to flee their homes, according to figures released Friday by United Nations organizations. “Over 12 million people are estimated to be stranded in affected areas or unable to leave.”  With a population of 44 million, that means nearly a quarter of all Ukrainians are now displaced either inside or out of the country.

That phenomenon came to an end when Trump lost his Twitter account after waging a literal assault on American democracy — which Fox also prodded him to do — but it has now been replaced by a new version, in which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s talking points excusing his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine have come to resemble Fox’s own coverage of the assault. In a real-life illustration of the Putin-Fox feedback loop, a recently reported memo from the Russian government directed the country’s media outlets to promote as many clips of Fox News star Tucker Carlson as possible, as the regime’s propaganda and Carlson’s own rhetoric have dovetailed almost perfectly.

Emma Husar: Ex-MP’s incredible attack on Anthony Albanese after Kimberley Kitching’s death | news.com.au — Australia’s leading news site

Emma Husar was forced to quit the Labor party.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold . Kitching’s body has hardly cooled when the LNP’s dirt brigade moved in to start forensically disecting her and politicizing her death. Murdoch media were all over her like a swarm of blowies. The Telegraph and News.com suggesting Albo was the direct cause of Kitchings heart condition and not coincidentally recruited Emma Husar as a smokescreen to assist in their dirty work.

In 2019 Husar found herself in the media’s firing line not the Party’s and her complaint was that the Party failed to back her up. Unlike Husar Kitching never issued any complaints against  Party or Albo. She had a history of giving as good as she got. One feels she’d be disgusted at all those unnamed sources claiming to be “close” are now playing advocates on her behalf when she had no such complaint.

Oh My god, how quick was Morrison to run in from stage and play “the man” on cue. Too quick too staged given there were so many other more improtant issues being cocked up on his watch and in the news. Will Morrison be attending Kitching’s funeral trying to shake peoples hands dressed to deliver is eulogy against Albo for the cameras?
