Reza Aslan Slams ‘Bigoted’ Media For Generalisation That Muslims Are Misogynistic And Violent

American religious scholar Reza Aslan gave a bravura interview to CNN this week, lambasting the “bigotry” of the media for perpetuating the generalisation that “Islamic countries” are more susceptible to misogyny and violence.

The academic appeared on the broadcaster to react to comments made by comedian Bill Maher, who last Friday characterised female genital mutilation as an “Islamic problem”. Maher said: “If we’re giving no quarter to intolerance… shouldn’t we be starting with the mutilators and the honour killers?”

In response, Aslan said the comedian’s comments were “facile” and “not very sophisticated” before lambasting the media for suggesting all Muslim nations were identical. “To say Muslim countries, as though Pakistan and Turkey are the same… it’s frankly, and I use this word seriously, stupid!” he said.

“The problem is that you’re talking about a religion of one and a half billion people… and certainly it becomes very easy to just simply paint them all with a single brush by saying, ‘Well in Saudi Arabia women can’t drive,’ and saying that’s representative of Islam. That’s representative of Saudi Arabia.”

Aslan also pointed out the hypocrisy of Western intervention in Iraq, spurred by the beheadings posted online by the extremist group. “Saudi Arabia is one of the most, if not the most, extremist countries in the world,” he said. “In the month that we’ve been talking about ISIS and their terrible actions in Iraq and Syria, Saudi Arabia, our closest ally, has beheaded 19 people.”

We all know about jihadists, but what about those waging an ‘anti-jihad’? Bolt never talks about them. Send funds to them we will raid you

Human rights activist holds a placard during an anti-Talibanisation protest in Lahore

Unfortunately, jihadists make headlines while those who wage the anti-jihad rarely do. After all, everyone has heard of Osama bin Laden, but few know of those standing up to would-be bin Ladens across the globe.

In the 1990s, the women’s group known as the Algerian Rally of Democratic Women or RAFD (Refuse) dared to do just that during a “dark decade” of jihadist atrocities committed by the Armed Islamic Group battling the Algerian state. That violence claimed as many as 200,000 lives.

Through acts like these, activists helped galvanize and display the population’s burgeoning rejection of an Islamic State project in Algeria. Nevertheless, RAFD’s work received little attention internationally.

When the West frames the conflict in this way, it can come across as a “clash of civilizations.” But this is not the case. There is a clash of ideologies—not civilizations—and it is taking place within each and every country affected by extremism.

The public relations battle of the ‘anti-jihadists’ is a critical part of the struggle against groups like ISIS—just as important as the military campaign. That is why the international community must do a better job to support those who are today’s version of RAFD, and to recognize that they represent a legitimate voice from within their societies.

Inside the danger zone, the Organization of Women’s Freedom in Iraq (OWFI) publicly denounces ISIS for its genocidal campaign against minorities, for raping women, imposing strict female dress codes and operating a “concubine market” that reportedly sells women and girls into sexual slavery. OWFI runs emergency phone lines and even a safe house for women fleeing ISIS persecution.

The Iraqi architect Yanar Mohammed, an opponent of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, founded the group in 2003 after the fall of Saddam Hussein.  Her goal was to promote women’s rights by advocating a secular, non-sectarian Iraq.  Like the women of RAFD before them, OWFI faced threats– in this case from both Sunni and Shiite extremists.  The founder once received an email with the subject heading, “Killing Yanar.”

Despite her bravery, Yanar once told me that she had limited access to Western media. This echoes what RAFD spokeswoman Zazi Sadou recently told me about the international response to their efforts: “No one wanted to hear us.” Even today, the West is still not listening to the voices of Iraqis who are standing up to the extremists. This must change.

If the international community wants more individuals to fight back, it must offer them support. While Qatari coffers have nourished jihadists across the region, secular groups who fight Islamists scrounge for funds.

If all this is not addressed then there is a real risk that Muslim fundamentalists–armed with money, weapons, foreign fighters and emotive religious rhetoric– will win both propaganda and military battles

Australians band together to show support for Muslim community Something you don’t hear about on Bolt’s blogs

#WISH: Non-Muslim women have donned hijabs in solidarity with the Muslim community.

Two Muslim men who have experienced the rising tension in the community since the terrorism threat level was raised said it is affecting everyone, from their wives and children to the elderly.

Steve and Adam from south-west Sydney said they “can feel the tension in the air when you take your kids to the park” and there is also a visibly increased presence of the authorities which was making people feel uneasy.

In the past week, there have been a string of incidents involving Muslim women being verbally abused in the street, cars being vandalised and mosques and religious buildings sprayed with graffiti. Muslim community members have said they feel they are the ones being terrorised.

Thousands of people have joined efforts to promote social harmony, including a social media campaign called Women in Solidarity with Hijabis (WISH).

The campaign, which was inspired by a non-Muslim woman named Ruth who put on a hijab and posted her photo online, took off last week and within three days the Facebook page had more than 7000 likes.

Muslim women commenting on the page were grateful for the gesture saying it was appreciated especially given that women wearing the hijab are bearing the brunt of public anti-Muslim sentiment.

In other initiatives a new Facebook page called Australian Non Muslims supporting Muslims, which began last week, already has almost 6000 members. The organisers said the “Islamophobia and discrimination encountered every day by Muslims living in Australia is unacceptable”.

Sally Balkan, a Buddhist, is co-ordinating a solidarity march to take place in each state early next month where people from different faiths and backgrounds can march in support of the Muslim community.

“We refuse to hate each other,” she told  Fairfax Media.

Community Relations Commission chief executive Hakan Harman said people “need to stand by each other, speak out against hate and violence and report any incidents of harassment, intimidation or vilification”.

Mr Harman said the actions of a few dangerous individuals should not prevent people from treating each other with respect and humanity.

His comments come as 250 mosques around the country delivered a united message through their Imams.

Organised by the Australian National Imams Council, the message to the congregations was that the “protection of human life is one of the five basic rights in Islam and as a Muslim we have a duty to protect humanity”.

ANIC general manager Samir Bennegadi said the sermons denounced the so-called fatwa from overseas targeting Australia, saying it has no religious authority and reiterating that the horrors conducted overseas in the name of religion are crimes against humanity and sins against God.

There is increasing concern about a backlash against Muslim Australians, with police taking care to say that anti-terrorism operations were to do with criminality, not religion. RacistIslamic leaders have also been upset at some media coverage of recent events.

The treasurer of the Islamic Council of Victoria, Eugenia Flynn, said the anti-Muslim incidents “run the gamut from verbal abuse on the street right through vandalising of property, vehicles and then to actual assaults, physical assaults.’

She said the council was encouraging people to report any incident to police.

100 police to arrest one man not bent on terror. Bolt’s Bog this morning hinted at ” not tiny or unrepresentative minority” He got it wrong again

As it happened: Man charged after FBI tip-off sparks anti-terrorism raids across Melbourne suburbs of Seabrook, Kealba, Flemington, Broadmeadows and Meadow Heights

Updated 34 minutes agoTue 30 Sep 2014, 2:58pm

A man has been charged with intentionally making funds available to a terrorist organisation, after more than 100 police officers carried out raids across five Melbourne suburbs.

The Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police conducted seven search warrants in Seabrook, Kealba, Meadow Heights, Broadmeadows and Flemington.

Following an FBI tip-off, a 23-year-old man was arrested at a Seabrook home and it will be alleged he paid for a US citizen to go and fight in Syria.

Police say they do not believe the man intended to carry out a terrorist attack on Australian soil.

Look back on how the day unfolded.

What no innuendo, no speculation by Bolt and the muckraking media? Abbott’s participation in the Coalition of Concern and it’s public amplification put a target on this man’s back which read AUSTRALIAN. He never made it home.

Syed Musawi, the Australian man tortured and killed in Afghanistan

Australian Sayed Habib Musawi ‘tortured, killed by Taliban’

AUSTRALIAN officials are trying to confirm reports a dual citizen has been tortured and killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The family of 56-year-old Sydney resident Sayed Habib Musawi have told the Guardian Australia his body was found on Tuesday with signs he was tortured before being killed.

The ABC reports Mr Musawi was was pulled off a bus by Taliban militants between Kabul and Ghazni province, where he was visiting family.

Ghazni’s deputy governor Mohammad Ali Ahmadi said Mr Musawi was targeted for being an Australian citizen.

“Of course the reason is that he was an Afghan-Australian,” Mr Ahmadi told the ABC’s AM program today.

“He didn’t do anything besides that – he didn’t do anything wrong, he wasn’t a criminal, he wasn’t involved in government activities.

Mr Musawi had lived in Australia since 2000. Source: Supplied

Mr Musawi had lived in Australia since 2000 and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing his family with consular assistance. “The Australian Embassy in Kabul continues to seek to confirm reports an Australian-Afghan dual national has been killed in Afghanistan,” a department spokesman told AAP.

“The area where these events reportedly occurred is contested by the Taliban and it will be difficult to obtain definitive and official confirmation of the man’s death from the Afghanistan government.”

Mr Musawi’s 23-year-old son Nemat Musawi told ABC radio this morning that the family was “devastated”.

“It seems like it was all set up, because they just stopped the bus on the way to Ghazni and then they just went straight to my dad,” he said.

“Everyone has been in shock, it’s just unbelievable,” Mr Musawi’s daughter Kubra Musawi told the Guardian.“He’s an Australian citizen and yet nothing’s happened yet.

Ms Musawi, who lives in the Sydney suburb of Berala, says she wants DFAT to “find out how the Taliban knew how [her] dad was going back to Kabul”.

“He wasn’t anything to do with the government there. They just wanted to stop him coming back to Australia. I don’t want anyone else to experience this. Every minute we think of my brother’s family who are still there, I can’t study or work because of the stress of it.”

Habib’s wife and youngest son, who lives in Melbourne, travelled to his funeral in Jaghori, where he was buried.

Afghanistan remains listed as a “do not travel” destination under Australian government advice to travellers.

Fanatics, not Muslims, are our enemy

Amanda Vanstone reminds us how in history we stood shoulder to shoulder with Muslims during various wars. That’s well and good and she reminds us that non-Muslim Australians would do well to ensure that any criticism is focused not on Muslims generally but on fanatical Muslims. Equally, Muslim Australians need to be loud, strong and clear in their condemnation of the fanatics.

This is a time to show disdain for the shock-jocks and jingo-junkies who whip up rednecks with their rubbish. In doing so, we will remind ourselves of the best of Australia.

The problem is that the fanatic shock-jocks at home the real dividers of this country are right in front of us and Vanstone fails to name and them. Which makes her gutless and she should be ashamed as she has the platform and the voice but fails to use it. “Shame” was an Ingmar Bergman film done in 1968 during the Vietnam war. It is about a couple who try to isolate themselves from a civil war that is going on around them by moving away as far as possible but get caught up in it nevertheless. It was about guilt  the Vietnam war and not doing anything. Not doing anything is supporting the worst and we all stand accused.

“Men, women and children — familiar like mine — are being burnt and blasted to death in Vietnam and I have absolutely no idea what may be happening to me and the few people I love ten years, five years, two months from now. SHAME is central to the experience we are living now”

Vanstone’s article ends where it should have begun naming and shaming those agents of hate Newscorp  2GB  those that are glorifying this war that is so complex that it defies any of our political class to explain it other than the futile slogan of annhilating ISIL.

Bolt, Devine,Henderson,Rule Jones are cloned Fox News media puppets that give rise to the shadows that our security forces find so hard to realize. They more than anybody amplify the darkness the doom and gloom portrayed by our current government for the past 20 years. The LNP has grabbed hold of a chicken little approach to  politics and these fear mongers do their bidding in amplifying it. Vanstone fails to name them which is as good as letting them be.

Bolt’s article in the Herald Sun today is written as if he was forewarned of Vanstone’s commentary in The Age. It’s a joke the man who has accused Islam outright for every evil that currently exists. That Islam is a stain on the way we live today turns around and merely says it’s only a  fringe element we need to be careful of. Vanstone and Bolt today are like two tag team wrestlers. Bolt has even used Vanstone’s words to name his favorite punching bag the ABC for disseminating hatred. If Vanstone didn’t tell him what her Age article was going to be then Bolt must feel smug that somebody at SMH is his mole. Bolt’s attempt today wear the halo is about as effective as putting on make up, lipstick and a dress and telling us he’s had a gender change. Either way  he is an extremely ugly human being. He tagged Vanstone and tried a hypocritical, tongue in cheek body slam.

“We cannot afford any more these shock jocks of the ABC, these inciters of hate”

Wholesale bombing, the pretense that the bombs  only harm  ISIS  a media made enemy is a total denial of what those bombs actually do. The damage done is as much as was done in  the missiling of Gaza or the bombing and napalming of commies in North Vietnam. To go in on the ground and fight the mythical ISIS is just as futile ISIS will dissolve to rise again somewhere else. You can’t fight an enemy you can’t identify but an enemy that can clearly identify us. All you  do is commit wholesale indiscriminant slaughter. That will only grow sympathy for a political ideology that gave birth to ISIS. The history of stupidity has shown us this.

We need to shut down the warmongers those that give life to this myth. We need to win the hearts and minds of those on the ground who wish to fight it and can see who the enemy is. ASIO finds sweet FA it’s  Islamic Australia that’s our best line of defense now that we have decided to poke the hornet’s nest.  The Arab nation states our allies are more aware of this than anyone.  Do you think for one second anyone of them would syndicate  Bolt’s news commentary. History will shame and blame Bolt that is inevitable Vanstone won’t.

Are Abbott and Bolt no longer singing from the same hymn book? He’s a noted liar after all.

Abbott faces the reality of multicultural Australia

Posted Fri at 2:58pmFri 26 Sep 2014, 2:58pm

While many conservatives continue to hold to the Howard line against multiculturalism, Tony Abbott is adjusting to the reality that Australia is a multicultural country, writes Mike Steketee.

“The Australian Government will be utterly unflinching towards anything that threatens our future as a free, fair and multicultural society; a beacon of hope and exemplar of unity-in-diversity.”

This is how Tony Abbott expressed his defence of Australian values before the United Nations Security Council this week.

“My view was that Australia should emphasise the common characteristics of the Australian identity. We should emphasise our unifying points rather than our areas of difference.”

His views translated into action, with his government’s abolition of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Bureau of Immigration, Multiculturalism and Population Research

Many conservatives continue to hold to the Howard line. According to Senator Cory Bernardi,

“the naïve … proclaim multiculturalism as a triumph of tolerance when in fact it undermines the cultural values and cohesiveness that brings a nation together”.

When police conducted anti-terrorism raids in Brisbane and Sydney last week, he tweeted:

Bernardi may be a Liberal maverick but on this issue his views are widely held amongst conservatives.

But Abbott no longer counts himself amongst the critics. Two weeks ago, he said:

“I’ve shifted from being a critic to a supporter of multiculturalism, because it eventually dawned on me that migrants were coming to Australia not to change us but to join us.”

In short, as Abbott came to realise, Australia changed migrant families more than they changed Australia.

As prime ministers need to do, Abbott is adjusting to the reality that Australia is a multicultural country. The Government frontbench includes members with strong ethnic connections – Treasurer Joe Hockey (Armenian-Palestinian), Finance Minister Mathias Cormann (Belgian), Government Senate leader Eric Abetz (German), suspended assistant treasurer Arthur Sinodinos (Greek) and Fierravanti-Wells (Italian).

Abbott is conscious that the ethnic vote can swing the result in federal seats, particularly in Sydney. He disappointed some of his strongest supporters with his decision to drop the so-called Bolt amendments to the Racial Discrimination Act after widespread opposition from ethnic groups.

The vast majority are as law abiding as any other Australians. They have alerted Australian authorities to planned terrorist attacks. Deriding their religion, criticising how they dress, let along branding them as terrorists, is seriously counter-productive.

Bachar Houli congratulates winner Hisham Kerbatieh.

Why I’m barracking for Bachar Houli and his AFL academy

The Islamic Museum of Australia in Thornbury is a tasteful building with a subtle design that is both Australian and Islamic. Its rusted steel front is perforated with an Aboriginal dot painting. Walking through the freckled sunlight, I meet the receptionist, Wafa, whose smile is as big as the West Gate bridge.

Wafa is a member of the remarkable Fahour family. Her brother Ahmed is the head of Australia Post. Another brother, Ali, is the AFL’s national diversity manager. Another, Mustafa, had the dream of building the museum. Another sister, Samira, was a MasterChef finalist. She runs the cafe out the back.

I’m there to meet Bachar Houli, devout Muslim and Richmond AFL player. When Bachar was 16, he captained the Vic Metro team at the national championships. His roommate liked loud music and had the TV on all the time. In the end, Bachar told his teammate that he was a Muslim and had to pray – could the television go down a little? His teammate was so impressed he got Bachar to talk to the whole team about being a Muslim. That, says Bachar Houli, was “the turning point”.

The Islamic Museum in Thornbury

His best mate at Richmond is its Croatian Australian ruckman, Ivan Maric. Bachar has been deeply moved by the respect big Ivan has shown him. Bachar says all his teammates have been great. I ask him if he likes playing footy. His whole body clenches as he says, “Love it”.

There were two Muslim AFL players before Bachar. Sedat Sir played 24 games with the Bulldogs in the ’90s, Adam Yze retired in 2008 after 271 games with Melbourne. But Bachar was the first to stand up and say being a Muslim wasbasic to his identity. He also says being Australian is basic to his identity.

There is nothing wasteful in Bachar’s manner. He’s straight and he respects straightness in others. Other AFL players are currently holidaying in places such as Las Vegas. Bachar’s running the Bachar Houli Academy, which encourages young Muslim men to envisage a career in the AFL and become leaders in their communities. The first year he ran it, 2012, he had only 25 applicants. This year, he had more than 500.

On Wednesday, the final squad of 30, drawn from around Australia, were shown round the Islamic Museum of Australia, which, to my eye, shows what is graceful and elegant about Islam: its magnificent architecture, its history in mathematics and medicine.

Australia’s Islamic history is traced back to the Makassar traders, who were visiting Australia from Indonesia for several centuries before Europeans arrived, and the cameleers of central Australia who are commonly remembered as Afghans but were actually a lot more diverse than that. Among large, colourful photos in the museum of the great mosques of the world is a photograph of one of the first mosques in Australia, at Marree. It looks like an early shearing shed – mud brick walls, gum trunks for its supports, bark roof.

Bachar Houli tells the young men who attend his  academy that being a devout Muslim makes him a better AFL player. So many of the qualities demanded by the religion, he says, are demanded by the game – particularly discipline. “You get the respect of your teammates by being honest and humble,” he says.

I meet 17-year-old Hisham Kerbatieh, who played this year with the Calder Cannons. He’s respectful and friendly, confident beneath his shyness, and he wants to play AFL. I’m barracking for Hicham, in part because the Australian game needs him. The Australian game, because it’s competing against international codes, needs everyone it can get.

But I’m also barracking for the Bachar Houli Academy because, right now, we desperately need people to walk the bridge in both directions between Muslim Australians and the rest.

THE WAR ON TERROR AND SPYING ON EVERYONE are both very serious matters. Indeed, the war on terror is killing people all over the world — including, sadly, here in Australia this week.

The tragic death of Abdul Numan Haidar is not a laughing matter. The confusion, misinformation and outright lies being spread about this young man are appalling. That the news media is buying into it with awful headlines and front page stories vilifying him, his friends and even random, totally unconnected young men should shame some journalists into silence.

At the same time, the rush to cut into our liberties in the name of ‘protecting’ us from a shadowy threat that kills less people than bee stings is also not something to joke about, or is it?

In the last 24 hours, a new Twitter hashtag, #HeyASIO, has burst into prominence to take the piss out of Raging Bedsore’s new surveillance powers.

Now that our security services have the right to monitor the whole of the inter-webs with just one warrant allowing them to tap into any computer ‘network’, it seems that nothing we do online is going to be private anymore.

The rightwing trolls don’t like it and curmudgeonly columnists like Andrew Bolt complain (without even having a Twitter account) that social media is dominated by “the left”, but for those of us who:

  1. don’t like the Abbott Government;
  2. think the terror threat is overblown;
  3. don’t like the idea of ASIO snooping on us around the clock and, more importantly;
  4. have a sense of humour…

… then It’s  a great way to get your message across while having a bit of fun.

Australian Defence Force chief apologises after officer withdraws Sydney attack allegation

Updated 4 minutes agoFri 26 Sep 2014, 2:34pm

The Chief of the Defence Force has apologised after an officer claimed he was assaulted by two Middle Eastern men in Sydney, then withdrew the allegation.

The 41-year-old sailor had claimed he was left with bruising after being attacked by two men of Middle Eastern appearance near his home at Bella Vista, in Sydney’s north-west.

Australian Defence Force (ADF) chief Mark Binskin said the ADF would investigate the officer’s conduct.

“There was a sailor who alleged he was assaulted yesterday morning,” Air Chief Marshal Binskin said.

“I have been in contact with [NSW Police Commissioner] Andrew Scipione throughout the evening and just spoken to him before I came down here now and that sailor has withdrawn those allegations.

“What I would like to say, because this is breaking news, on behalf of the Australian Defence Force I would like to apologise to the Australian community and particularly the Middle Eastern community for any angst that this has caused.”

The claim, made on Thursday, came amid concerns about the safety of military personnel and police officers two days after an attack in Melbourne in which two police officers were injured and their attacker was shot dead.

It also followed calls for “restraint and civility” from religious leaders concerned about heightened community tensions after last week’s counter-terrorism operation involving raids on homes in Sydney and Brisbane.

You never see anything like this in Bolt’s blog or reports. He must not have been of Middle Eastern appearance.

“we’ve had communications with Islamic community leaders in my electorate. They are doing everything they can to help. They’ve met with AFP officers. There’s a meeting at the Hallam North mosque tonight. I’ll be meeting with them on Friday. They are doing everything they can to get to the bottom of this as well.

Ask Bolt what he knows about Endevour Hills

I know lot about Endeavour Hills and its people. They’re a great people. They’re a people that are filled with resolve and purpose and they’re people that come from all walks of life, all races, colours and creeds and they live together in harmony.

I could tell you about, in my experience, Leigh, of a young Afghan man of that age was a young man that lived next door to where I used to live in Endeavour Hills, and when I used to fly to Canberra, one of the things that I was very heartened about was the fact that that family, including that young man, would be keeping an eye on my family.

But I do think that what shouldn’t happen is that those wonderful people that I know, whose mosques that I walk into, that lived next door to me, shouldn’t be demonised, they shouldn’t be – and they shouldn’t be – you know, your story had a comment made by a senator, who I didn’t know was an expert on security, talking about burqas. Ill-informed comments don’t add to either the investigations that are taking place at this point in time or the very community harmony that we need in my area at this point in time.

I think if there’s one thing that I would say, Leigh, is that we’ve got to do – rather than pull ourselves apart, which is what ISIS wants us to do, we’ve got to come together, and if there are any further programs that we can develop to encourage and include people, regardless of what faith they might be, that is going to significantly reduce the chance of radicalisation.

You never listen to these people do you Andrew Bolt? No time for being inclusive.

Fairfax journo’s have become Hyenas fighting over the carcase to get a headline. Spawned by Andrew Bolt they are like Mr Smith in Matrix

Australian Media Spawned By Andrew Bolt have no compassion

The only place to deal withe the leader of this swarm is Section 18C of the RAD

Bruce Giles AFP Commander said:

“He(Numan Haider hadn’t been monitored for a long time, it was very early days of investigation with this individual”

Totally ignored by these news hounds baying for a headline and grasping at any rumour that might come to their perverted imaginations.

That Numan had been on police radar for months, bullshit. That he planned to behead the two cops crap. That the young man was a full blown terrorist in constant communication with ISIL. In their kafkaesque media storm  they  have turned  this young 18 year old kid with no priors  into the devil. Their moronic reporting is doing what extremists want. Fairfax ought to be ashamed Newscorp is on par. Andrew Bolt has spawned print media morons everywhere. The image of Mr Smith in Matrix  has morphed into Andrew Boltcame  when I picked up this mornings paper.

The only sensible words heard  anywhere  were those of Gaith Krayem of the Islamic Council of Victoria

“brandishing a flag and making disparaging comments about agencies does not make someone a terrorist”

“Many young men of that age can be brash, angry and immature. None of those things make him a terrorist”

Not one single reporter or commentator many of them with kids of their own gave any creedance that this young man might just have been suffering from a mental illness.

The percentage of people meeting the criteria for diagnosis of a mental illness was highest in younger people, with the prevalence decreasing with age. Twenty-six per cent of 18-24 year olds had experienced a mental disorder, while only 5.9% of people aged 65 years and over had experienced a mental disorder. – See more at:

When for the past few years the papers have been full of the fact that mental illness is is increasingly prevalent amongst young men none of the reporting even gave it consideration. 26% of young men 18-24 no matter their religion suffer from a mental disorder.

This young man had all the markers of a psychotic breakdown which had been building up for some time.

  • He was extremely stressed because he’d broken up with his girlfriend who was extremely important in his life some months before. A common trigger in the onset of a mental breakdown among young men.
  • His friends indicated that he’d changed. That he  had become withdrawn and really didn’t want to talk.
  • Neighbuours said he was quite removed just nodded when they passed
  • He had left the “extremist” group months before which was yet another an indication of his withdrawl
  • His parents didn’t know what he was doing  he wasn’t talking to them  another sign of withdrawl.
  • He was paranoid  and angry as he’d  only just had a confrontation with police on the 18th of September. Bruce Giles head of the ADF comment above says it clearly that he’d just come on their radar.
  • He had a strong relationship with god. Not uncommon in mental illness.
  • He was by and large a normal Aussie kid.

The above are all telling signs of a young man suffering from a mental illness rather than the fanciful idea of being a heroic  over idealised terrorist. Gaith Krayem of the Islamic council of Victoria seems to be the only one quoted by the media that is the voice of reason and more-over compassion in the circumstance for everyone involved

Andrew Bolt has kids he should be so lucky as to not have one of his sons come down with a mental illness so crippling that something like this occurs. Any of the other media fuckwits that claim to have half a brain should have considered this possibility. They have certainly gone down in my eyes.   Christian,Muslim,Seikh or Buddhist are not immune to the crippling effects of Paranoid Schizophrenia,Schizo-Affective Disorder, Chronic Bi-Polar Episodes, or Devastating Depression which can bring about psychosis.

I’m sure some of the above media dolts suffer or have suffered from a mental disorder at some time in their life. Or that they have experienced the effects of it in others yet none  even considered the possibility of it climbing over themselves for the headline. I’m certain Andrew Bolt more than any of you knows what mental illness is …no compassion, blinkered tunnel vision, inflexibility, inability to listen are also symptoms

Bolt’s Bog 23/9/14

No, there was no “lie” about Iraq.  Andrew Wilkie should know better

Rumsfeld,  Cheney, Bush and born again Blair vs the Australian Lieutenant Colonel  Andrew Wilkie ex of  Australian Intelligence who advised us that despite all intel and UN advice that there was no evidence of any WMDs in Iraq. Who should we believe John Howard who is now apologising for being dumb. He and the USA were all dumbed out by the info but the decision  to invade  but it was still right. Or the majority historical opinion that the power vacuum it created  and we are experiencing today was not justified by bullshit but what?. Whose word should the true integrity of that decision be decided the participants, historians or Andrew Bolt who says history should take a back seat from the point of his birthin 1959. The man is a media warmonger after all

Islamic State urges killings as Prime Minister Tony Abbott warns over price of freedom

For a number of days Tony Abbott has been chattering about killing the ‘devil cult’ doing wharever it takes to stop them in their tracks. Like echos words rebound and we don’t like what we hear. ISIL couldn’t give a shit about Australia and Australians then. It does now thanks to Tony Abbott. He has left Australians the world over with a problem not just here. What is he going to do about their security?….Nothing. Malcolm Fraser said he was dangerous.

The Islamic State has urged its supporters to go out and kill Western civilians, including Australians, as Prime Minister Tony Abbott warned the nation would have to sacrifice freedoms for security against terrorism in what he called these “darkening times”.

In a chilling message posted online, the terrorist group called for indiscriminate violence by any means in countries preparing to go to war against its fighters in northern Iraq and Syria.

"Australians will have to endure more security than we're used to": Tony Abbott addresses Parliament on the terrorist threat on Monday.“Australians will have to endure more security than we’re used to”: Tony Abbott addresses Parliament on the terrorist threat on Monday. Photo: Andrew Meares

The statement, attributed to chief Islamic State spokesman Abu Muhammad al Adnani, mentions Australia three times in 11 pages of apocalyptic threats against “crusaders”.

“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be,” he said.

“Do not ask for anyone’s advice and do not seek anyone’s verdict. Kill the disbeliever, whether he is civilian or military, for they have the same ruling. Both of them are disbelievers.”

Abu Muhammad al Adnani, ISIL's chief spokesman.Abu Muhammad al Adnani, ISIL’s chief spokesman.

Clearly calling for followers to martyr themselves, Adnani says that if IS supporters cannot obtain a bomb or a gun to kill a Westerner, they should “smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him or poison him”.

Adnani is a top figure in the militant group, having served as offical spokesman and senior leader since it rose to prominence last year.

His exhortation comes just days after police smashed an alleged plot in Sydney to kill random Australians on camera and as world leaders prepare to meet in New York to discuss how to combat the problem of foreigners travelling to Iraq and Syria to fight.

Terror laws

Mr Abbott, who will fly to New York on Tuesday for the United Nations sumitt, made a special address to Parliament on national security and warned the “delicate balance” between freedom and security would have to be recast.

“Regrettably, for some time to come, Australians will have to endure more security than we’re used to, and more inconvenience than we’d like,” he said.

“The delicate balance between freedom and security may have to shift. There may be more restrictions on some so that there can be more protections for others. After all, the most basic freedom of all is the freedom to walk the streets unharmed and to sleep safe in our beds at night.”

The statement

Mr Abbott welcomed Labor standing “shoulder to shoulder” with the Coalition on the terrorism threat, saying “it lets our enemies know that they will never shake our resolve”.

But Islamic State appears determined to test that resolve. Its threat against Australians is the most concrete yet.

Adnani’s statement is troubling as it tells followers they need no further approval of a Muslim cleric or from within the hierarchy of the Islamic State.

This is distinct from the approach of al-Qaeda, whose late leader Osama bin Laden maintained a tight, centralised control over violent activities. It also differs from the protocol of some previous plots in Australia, such as the plan to attack Holsworthy Barracks in Sydney, which was thwarted while the plotters were awaiting the sanction of a cleric.

Adnani calls US President Barack Obama a “mule of the Jews” and US Secretary of State John Kerry an “uncircumcised old geezer”.

The statement threatens not just to beat back any military campaign in Iraq and Syrian but also to go on the offensive, even if it takes generations.

“We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah, the Exalted,” it says. “If we do not reach that time, then our children and grandchildren will reach it, and they will sell your sons as slaves at the slave market.”

A spokewoman for Mr Abbott said counter-terrorism agencies considered the statement to be authentic.

“Australian agencies regard the statement issued today by ISIL calling for attacks against members of the international coalition, including Australians, as genuine,” she said.

“ISIL will claim that our involvement in this international effort is the reason they are targeting us, but these people do not attack us for what we do, but for who we are and how we live.”

Former British Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair gave his backing to President Barack Obama’s strategy to overwhelm IS with military force.

“The president is absolutely right to take on [ISIL] and to build the broadest possible coalition,” he said.

“We’ve got absolutely no choice but to do this, and not just in order to destroy the onward march of [ISIL] but to send a very strong signal to the other terrorist groups operating in the region. We intend to take action and see it through.”

In his address in reply, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten laid out why Labor backs war against IS.

“Labor recognises that sometimes there is simply no alternative,” Mr Shorten said. “Put plainly, we cannot negotiate with ISIL because there is nothing rational about what they seek to do. ISIL and their like wish only to do harm, to spread the bitter hatred that fuels their genocidal intent.”

Mr Shorten said he rejected the charge that Australia’s engagement in Iraq had made the country more of a target for terrorists.

From the mouth of Melbournes worst vilifier government supporter and Abbott’s mate…. Andrew Bolt.

“I say “myth” because of one telling fact above all: this country actually has as many Buddhists as Muslims. Yet where are the Buddhist terrorist plots? Where are the angry complaints about “alienation”? Where the warnings to change our foreign policies … or else?”

The buffoon opens his mouth and out come the flies so filled with Islamic hate he must have a gut full of maggots. Andrew Bolt this government isn’t waging war in any Buddhist,Hindu,Sikh or Confucian country. The last time we did we got into a lot of shit and lost. It was called Vietnam and you would have rushed in if you wern’t too young wouldn’t you. Europeans were at risk sitting in public places and soldiers took off their uniforms then in Saigon. A young Mike Carlton was and  experienced the brutality of war up close and personal, unlike you. How do you think we’d go if we entered the fight in Punjab ,Amaritsar  at the Golden Temple and we started taking out the rebel Sikhs that were crying out for independence?

“It is that belief which has already landed 21 Muslims in jail for previous terrorist plots against Australians.”

You make thing up  as you go along its bullshit. Who are the 21 convicted persons in jail cretin are they some of the ones found  not guilty Mr Bolt. As for deaths caused by these conspirators none. Maybe you need to be reminded of Andrew Knight  he was not a Muslim. He was a trained cadet though from Melbourne High who knew the meaning of alienation.

With regard to 1000 bombs a man like yourself calls Obama piss weak and Abbott strong a true blue world leader  who you openly encourage to humanitarian bomb (an oxymoron) another nations citizens in the hope of degrading a criminal element without UN sanction. Bombing in itself is indiscriminant and your up for it. Your  far more dangerous because you incite a mate who has the capacity however you wont do it in public  will you only behind the security of locked doors.

You accuse  the multitude of critics of the terrorist raids as being conspiracy theorists. What a lode of cock  and it’s all in your mouth. It’s common sense  when you give a government department $650 million  that it’s going to be eager to show that spend was justified. If that justification seems like an overkill in the secret operation of 800 personnel raiding Australian citizen houses in a public televised and photographed event 3 days after the PM announced “we have no specific intel”. The questions are reasonable. Particularly when the Murdoch Press falsely headlined plots of beheadings when there were none. That the raids were instigated on one phone call the information withheld due to “operational matters” and more so  that the departments running the gig have fucked up so badly in the past. How Dr Muhummed Haneef at the behest of Kevin Andrews under the Howard government was put under control in jail. How Kevin Andrews refused tell where his information was sourced from. Tht the court findings revealed that ASIO and the AFP had given Andrews contradictory reports due to the cock up of an over zealous agent wanting to please. Then yes Andrew Bolt we are entitled to ask questions and make suggestions on how this all seems to fit so well for the government. Andrews thought it did back in 2007 as well.

Climb back under your rock Bolt. Why doesn’t this government lay Section 18C charges against you? That’s every days question

IF Use Section 18C Against Newscorp commentators,Andrew Bolt, 2GB Alan Jones, ADL Australian Defense League

Now is the time to show why we retained Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act and show the Muslim Community they are truly the AUSTRALIAN MUSLIM COMMUNITY.

Andrew Bolt vilifies and demeans a section of the Australian community as a matter of course on a daily basis. If we are going to war isn’t it time to show a united front. He’s your mate Mr Abbott shut the man up. Bolt uses the term Islam as a form of abuse and insult not in ignorance but with intent. His purpose is not to integrate but rather segregate the community throughout Australia. Professional Racist

The good guys Mr Bolt will never catch up with crime and by and large you dream the impossible crime is a universal feature every society. Even if it’s called disobedience in the Bolt family

I DIDN’T even finish my arts degree, but I still say that the Chief Scientist and two Nobel prize winners should pull their heads in.

The ABC and staff  are so above Newscorp and Andrew Bolt

“If you think arguments on global warming are best settled by credentials, then don’t read another word. I’m an idiot.”

Even Andrew Bolt get’s it right sometimes. He certainly didn’t finish his Arts Degree he barely started it and merely deprived someone else of the opportunity. It’s the idiot aspect that reveals itself and the lack of either rationality or balance.

“Viewers would have concluded no scientists question that the world is heating dangerously and man is to blame. The sceptical scientists I know personally must just be hoaxers.”

He sounds like a child ready to throw a tantrum not an adult open to a discussion.  On this topic it is  precisely what he is a moron.

Bolt doesn’t prove or disprove anything he merely states the obvious that there is a minority of scientists that don’t necessarily agree with all the results put forward by the majority for a case of Global Warming. But that’s the nature of science disagreement. You could argue because all the scientific errors made throughout history is the reason science and the world progressed.  Bolt offers no alternative to progress and investigation. The majority of climate scientists seem to believe there is a necessary reason to move foward.

Bolt the self-confessed idiot only believes in  incontrovertible laws of which there are very few. Not Newton, Not Einstein, Not Quantum Physics so the idiot is simply asking for the impossible. If one believes money and power influence science then  the skeptics certainly exemplify the conservatives, much the same as flat earthers did in their day. The majority of scientists are progressives as their results demand a necessary change foward  which however sits against the financial interests of Capital. Why would the most rational thinkers of the world ask the most wealthiest to change? After all isn’t that where their finance ultimately comes from?

Bolt doesn’t broach the question  he merely uses it as a vehicle to have ago at the ABC as a leftist organization with some bias against his  fatuous  conservative position. The man failed his Arts degree he didn’t just  finish it.

His side of the capitalist ledger always turns to the maintenance of profit  to justify  reasons not to change. The ABC in 1984 had a budget of approx $900 mill today it’s $800 mill and has 84% support of the Australian population. More importantly 80% believe in its integrity. That alone places it so far in front of  Newscorp and Bolt it’s lickspittle

Over 84% of Australians believe that the national broadcaster AAA not just ABC . How do you rate Andrew Bolt? Vulgarian

If you only read The Australian, or any Murdoch media  listen to the views of some politicians,  or 2GB you would think that the ABC is struggling to provide fair coverage of events, is biased in its politics and its science, and that it is wasting tax-payers’ dollars. Have you noticed that journalists critical of the ABC Andrew Bolt for one have started to call it “the taxpayer-funded ABC with it’s leftist bias.

Well Andrew Bolt, what do taxpayers actually think about “their ABC”? Over 84% of Australians believe that the national broadcaster provides a valuable service to the community. Moreover,  84% believe that its reporting is accurate and fair; 80% think that it does a good job on country and regional issues and 78% that ABC TV is of high quality. Does Newscorp rate nearly as well?

How much does it cost and what do we get for that? It is interesting to compare the ABC budgets from almost 30 years ago to now  in terms of real funding.

In 1986, with $906.3M the ABC employed 6092 fulltime equivalent staff, had one analog television channel, 38 radio sites, Radio National and ABC Classic FM with  90% coverage, and 2JJ, as it was known then, servicing  only  Sydney.

Last financial year, with $825.7 million, the ABC had 4,679 staff  with four major digital TV channels (ABC1, ABC2/ABC4Kids, ABC3 and ABC News 24) and an incredibly successful online catch-up service.  The average audience reach varies from nearly 10 million for ABC1 to just over 3 million for ABC3, with an astonishing 20 million plays a month for iView.  There are 60 local radio sites, nationwide RN, Triple J and Classic FM, plus ABC podcasts  downloaded 71 million times.  ABC online has 19.5 million visits per month and there are now over 25 smart phone and tablet apps.

News corp couldn’t begin to dream of that value for money. Any wonder you would love to see it privatised. Murdoch would snap it up in a second and proceed to tarnish it beyond recognition.

What about quality? The Board receives regular data on how citizens value ABC content and we continue to be impressed by these reviews. As a scientist, I believe there is ample evidence to support the conclusion that the ABC is fulfilling its charter to help Australians to participate more fully as  informed citizens in a democracy. The ABC is crucial because  we are poorly served by other parts of the media. Too often, problems become politicised, the science is discarded and rational debate and decision-making go out the window.

For instance the ABC’s reporting accurately reflects the science on coal and CSG and the lower environmental impact of renewable, (particularly with regard to the emission of greenhouse gas. The requirement for ‘balance’ does not mean that bad science should be reported with the same emphasis as good science.

We are now in a situation where a major commercial news organisation Newscorp is denigrating the ABC with a vicious, sustained campaign which is extremely damaging to our public broadcaster and to the nation.  The ABC has already had to make compromises:  the Government has cut the Australia Network so the Charter obligation to broadcast news and entertainment to countries outside Australia has to be fulfilled by making cuts elsewhere. We have lost some of our top journalists in this process. Further cuts have been announced and these are just the beginning. Tony Abbott talks National Security but has handed Pacific Nation Broadcasting to China on a platter. Newscorp attacks the ABC for being left bias what then is China Mr Bolt.

Australians must realise what implications there are for the nation’s capacity to be a well-informed and therefore a competent country and it’s not by reading, listening or watching The Bolt Report or Bolt Blog that’s for certain.

We singled out as leading. OECD Human Rights Violaters, ADF deployment enthusiasts, RET non supporters, Foreign Aid renegers… We stand Tall

 View image on Twitter

With the Abbott Government’s RET review controversially advising abolishing Australia’s renewable energy target, a new international report suggests renewables are the only way forward.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES ARE INCREASINGLY SEEN as the best solution to a growing global population demanding affordable access to electricity, while reducing the need for toxic fossil fuels that are creating unsustainable levels of greenhouse gas emissions.

That’s the underlying message of a new report ‒ REthinking Energy: Towards a New Power System ‒ published this week by the Abu Dhabi-based International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

‘Rapid technological progress, combined with falling costs, a better understanding of financial risk and a growing appreciation of wider benefits, means that renewable energy is increasingly seen as the answer.’

Not only can renewable energy meet the world’s rising demand, but it can do so more cheaply, while contributing to limiting global warming to under 2 degrees Celsius – the widely cited tipping point for climate change

A technology once considered as niche is becoming mainstream. What remains unclear is how long this transition will take, and how well policy makers will handle the change.’

In the next two decades, the report noted, world electricity generation is expected to increase by 70 per cent.

But the report warned:

There is growing consensus on the threat of climate change brought on by increasing atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases, prompting worldwide efforts to reduce emissions.’

If business continues as usual, these efforts will not succeed. The average emissions intensity of electricity production has barely changed over the past 20 years. Gains from the increasing deployment of renewables, and less intensive fossil fuels such as natural gas, have been offset by less efficient power plants and the rising use of coal. Without a substantial increase in the share of renewables in the mix, climate change mitigation will remain elusive.’

There is also increasing concern about the health impacts of burning fossil fuels, the report said, adding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently found that ill health caused by fossil fuels nationally costs between US $362 billion and $887 billion annually.

In addition, the European Union’s Health and Environment Alliance found that emissions from coal-fired power plants cost up to €42.8 billion in yearly health costs.

The report says something has to change:

‘Fossil fuels powered the first industrial revolution, but even in the new era of shale oil and gas, questions remain about their compatibility with sustainable human well-being. The stage is set for the era of modern renewable energy that is cost competitive, mainstream and sustainable.’

The report noted that the challenge today is how to finance and accelerate the continued deployment of renewables.

The report added that politicians have an important role to play:

‘If they make it clear that renewable energy will be a larger part of their national energy mix, and commit to long-term, non-financial support mechanisms, they could reduce uncertainty and attract more investors.’

Deploying renewables also stimulates economic activity, creates jobs, provides power for those left off the grid, the report said. Most renewables do not deplete finite resources and they also reduce the risk of ecological disasters.

In an accompanying media release, IRENA Director-General Adnan Amin said speeding up the adoption of renewable energy technologies is the most feasible way of reducing carbon emissions and avoiding catastrophic global warming.

Amin was quoted as saying in the release:

A convergence of social, economic and environmental forces are transforming the global energy system as we know it. But if we continue on the path we are currently on and fuel our growing economies with outmoded ways of thinking and acting, we will not be able avoid the most serious impacts of climate change.”

Andrew Bolt bleeds for free speech rules it out as far as Aboriginies are concerned. Imagine him at

Why isn’t this apartheid being called out?

But why didn’t Tony Abbott rule it out? Why don’t Mundine and Wyatt rule it out as racist rather than unhelpful?:

24 hours and talking has just begun Andrew Bolt is railing about talking. The man wishes he has an ear to the tent so he can direct what and how things can be discussed. Take a deep breath Bolt and hold it. We know you are fully informed about Aparthied. Talking starts somewhere  lecturing goes nowhere. Listening is a skill you lack in spades.

Andrew Bolt is not only Lazy by repeating last weeks Blog in the Herald Sun today. He is as dangerous as any terrorist propaganda.

Bolt is a Troll a lazy one at that he ran  same blog on Noel Pearson  last week. It was moronic then and is today. It was made up nonsense then and still is today. It was lies then and still is specious today.

Jackie Lambie represents an electorate not any Aboriginal community. Bolt speaks of her as if she is some representative. He gives her voice he gives her attention so he can knock her down. Bolt needs space a fatuous filler for his meaningless argument about parliamentary representation. . He is not only lazy but a danger he is constructing an argument about  Noel Pearson, the constitution which is self-serving,  narcissistic, racist bullshit.

Noel Pearson unlike Lambie does represent some Aboriginal communities not all but some, so he does have a legitimate voice. Nowhere does he argue what Bolt attributes to him, that a separate parliamentary voice is needed.  Bolt is a liar, a coward protected in his Murdoch tower.

He and Pearson agree on the constitution. They agree that race is a non issue. Pearson isn’t asking for a separate parallel parliament nor any special place in the current parliamentary  structure.  Bolt is just needs us to believe it for his argument’s sake. He constructs the  lies to  knock them down and attributes them to Pearson. Bolt’s whole blog is  a wank nothing to do with reality other than to say “look at me aren’t I a clever prick”

We live in a differentiated society. Representative associations act as advisers to the government on all sorts of matters ANIC ,AHA, IPA etc they lobby and advise  the government ministers on all sorts of issues. To say we are a society of individuals alone with equal influence is crap. Newscorp is a lot more than just a bunch of  individuals with varying opinions. Bolt is part of that corporate tribe.

Aboriginal people are a number groups (mobs)which have both common and separate interests 13 different clans are meeting the PM as we speak. Bolt always refers to them as one amorphous whole it suits his lazy simplistic argument. He does it with Islam and the left and any number of people. It’s taken over a year for these 13 clans to have this broken promised meeting with the Abbott who also happens to be their current minister and whose department is non functioning  shambles at the moment. Warren Mundine is his Abbotts personal adviser on Aboriginal affairs one man. Mundine is not representative of Aborigines at all.

Pearson is Advocating an inclusive representative organization a body of Aboriginals to advice the minister. What Andrew Bolt  is racist in that? He is not talking colour he is talking common and separate interests of varying communities both isolated and urban . Pearson is talking about representational and inclusive government isn’t that our current democratic system?. If Bolt suggests there is something nefarious in that he is self-serving scum whose running a polemic for polemics sake.  This country is divided into interest groups political parties, womens groups etc etc etc the Abbott government listens to them through their representative organizations and notthrough a single adviser like Mundine or Noel Pearson. Gay groups, Right wing think tanks and even Newscorp have a voice. Tony Abbott has dinner with Murdoch because their friends, pigs arse. Singling out Noel Pearson and using him to run your inane  specious argument is racist and a self-serving offering of crap. I bet you wouldn’t dare  run this shit by Noel Pearson face to face  Bolt only from the safety of your  Murdoch tower. Ask him to talk to you on the Bolt Report in the studio you gutless media troll.

Advice For Tony Abbott and the LNP. However a demand to Andrew Bolt. IS=UIS or Sunni Revolt

‘Islamic State’ is a slur on our faith, say leading Muslims

Imams call on David Cameron and others to stop using phrase which they say gives credibility to a terrorist organisation
Isis soldiers

Isis soldiers: ‘The group has no standing with faithful Muslims.’ Photograph: Alamy

The prime minister and media should stop legitimising the terror group rampaging through Syria and Iraq by describing it as Islamic State, according to a coalition of imams and organisations representing British Muslims. Use of the jihadis’ preferred title, they argue, gives credibility to the Sunni militants and slurs the Islamic faith.

UK Muslims need to do more to dissuade their young men from being misled into taking part in the group’s “hatred and poison”. “We shall take every opportunity to continue to say clearly and loudly ‘not in our name’ and ‘not for our faith,’ ”

We propose that ‘UnIslamic State’ (UIS) could be an accurate and fair alternative name to describe this group and its agenda – and we will begin to call it that.”

Six senior Islamic scholars endorsed the fatwa last month, describing Britons allied to Islamic State (Isis) cells as “heretics” and prohibiting would-be jihadis from joining the “oppressive and tyrannical” group in Iraq and Syria. It is feared that as many as 500 Britons have travelled to Syria or Iraq since 2011 to join the group and its affiliates.

“This could be especially powerful because everybody at home and abroad can see that you are being asked to do so by British Muslims themselves who want to be clear about why this group is so vehemently rejected.

“We are sure that most British Muslims would agree that ‘UnIslamic State’ is a considerably more fitting label for this poisonous group – and hope that our fellow citizens will join us in that.

Veterans of Elite Israeli Unit Refuse Reserve Duty, Citing Treatment of Palestinians. What would Bolt advise?

Denouncing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians under occupation, a group of veterans from an elite, secretive military intelligence unit have declared they will no longer “take part in the state’s actions against Palestinians” in required reserve duty because of what they called “our moral duty to act.”

it is the first public collective refusal by intelligence officers rather that combat troops. Unit 8200 has a special role in Israeli society as a coveted pipeline to its high-technology industry.

“After our service we started seeing a more complex picture of a nondemocratic, oppressive regime that controls the lives of millions of people,”

said one of the group’s organizers, a 32-year-old sergeant major who was on active duty from 2001 to 2005. He spoke on the condition of anonymity because the military prohibits Unit 8200 members from being publicly identified.

“There are certain things that we were asked to do that we feel do not deserve the title of self-defense,” he added in a telephone interview. “Some of the things that we did are immoral, and are against the things we believe in, and we’re not willing to do these things anymore.”

The new refuseniks said their group began a year ago and was not motivated by Israel’s battle with Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip this summer, which a member said was “just another chapter in this cycle of violence.” The veterans described exploitative activities focused on innocents whom Israel hoped to enlist as collaborators. They said information about medical conditions and sexual orientation were among the tidbits collected. They said that Palestinians lacked legal protections from harassment, extortion and injury.

The timing is nonetheless powerful, coming after many longtime Israeli critics of the occupation complained that their voices were stifled during a unified rallying around the war effort.

Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, a spokesman for the Israeli military, said specific incidents mentioned in officers’ testimonies presented with the group’s letter would be examined, and that “ramifications” for refusing to serve — including possible criminal prosecution — would be handled individually.

Andrew Bolt Has Noel Pearson in his Crosshairs but Shoots Himself.

‘Absolutely. Forget this divisive, offensive and ultimately dangerous race industry. We’re just one people, one “race”, sharing a continent and bounded by a single law.’

Noel Pearson and Bolt agree that in a perfect world race has no place. Hitler also believed that. It’s not unusual for those talking about heaven. Bolt often confuses reality with heaven where nobody is a racist. But in  this reality he is. The  racial distinctions he wants abandoned exist. To deny it’s existence changes nothing it in fact supports racism. Bolt is a racist.

Apart from that this school boy debater is pathetic. His snide remark on Pearson’s comment

” he is plainly and astonishingly wrong about Aborigines not have citizenship until 1967″

shows his  ignorant & bluenosed nature .Yes in 1967 Aborigines were finally recognized as countable humans in this country and not just flowerpots by our census. Yes they could vote. But for the first time they were actually notified they had a right to vote that it was compulsory and the polls came to them. Prior to that they remained uninformed, un -fined and excluded. This fact alone makes Bolt’s comment on Pearson elitist banal purely self-serving.He is as highly regarded as medical waste.

“But then Pearson, having denounced the race industry and racism in the constitution, bizarrely proposes a change even more racist and divisive – a separate parliament for the Aboriginal race:”

“In fact, Aborigines have a representative body already. It’s called the Australian Parliament. (There are also state parliaments and local councils.) Andrew Bolt

“What Pearson wants is a further parliament just for one “race”, to give members of that “race” more power than members of other “races”, and a different legal status.”

You see Andrew Bolt thinks he is already in heaven and Pearson is a barbarian at the gate a feral

“This would dismember our polity and our community.”

“No to racism. No to racial division. No to this racist change to our constitution.”

Simply put Bolt lies he doesn’t just misrepresent Noel Pearson he lies and purjures himself there is nothing about an alternative parliament other than in Bolts imagination. Pearson as quoted by Bolt merely says

“And the alternative, it seems to me, is that Aboriginal people should be in a position to say what laws and policies apply to our own people.”

It’s a capacity to be involved in advising the parliamentary process in respect of laws and policies that apply to our people“…

Hello industry has Associations they have lobbyists who advise on behalf of their interests. Bolt would deny that opportunity to Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders, Muslims and others

Pearson unlike Bolt even explains why minorities need this capacity quite succinctly

“the future, if there is social and economic provisioning for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, it should be on the basis of need, not race. It’s because we’re needy Australians, just like Muslim Australians or white Australians might have social and economic needs, so too do certain Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Let’s move from race to need as the basis of government action.”

Pearson is not swanning around in Bolt’s idea of heaven on earth disrupted by whinging minorities. He is talking about social reality today and it’s  uneven distribution of human rights, fairness and justice. Pearson is asking to be heard and included.

“It’s a capacity to be involved in advising the parliamentary process in respect of laws and policies that apply to our people…”

“what kind of fulcrum do we need in our constitutional structure that at least enables the mouse to determine what laws and policies should apply to us as an Indigenous people? Our democratic process should empower us and enliven us to do that.”

Bolt is a distasteful human being who has a voice which he would deny others because if heard change might just occur.

Like ISIS Bolt points his dullard brain at what he has branded apostate cultures Aboriginal, Islam, Socialist he’s only got  one out of tune song. His ideal is Western Civilised Christian Culture produces the best conditions for individuals to flourish. All other cultures interfere and produce negative outcomes. Assimilation is the best policy to correct the problems in our society and strict immigration to protect it.  That’s exactly the ISIS argument that their pure form of Islam (culture) will bring about the best conditions for individual life and that conversion is the best policy to correct current individual problems. ISIS however like Pol Pot , Stalin and Hitler believe killing fields are justified. Bolt believes  in the conversion(assimilation) or lockout system as well.  Our society was once WASP now after 200 years the catholics have been accepted  so WCCC. Keep it pure by strict immigration policies. Those seeking asylum from death horror or mayhem need strict sorting on all levels if they don’t cut mustard  piss them off. Try to avoid having them killed is not a good as the UNHRC is watching  but lock them out and find any justification for doing it.

Today internally assimilation is also the best policy cultural genocide is what will save the Aborigines. Australia wide their culture obsolete it’s time it was deleted. It doesn’t suit the man to suggest there might be some successful communities all are a problem. Bolt’s ideal a race less constitution and a race less society all one with equal rights under one law. It sounds very French Revolution Liberty Equality and Fraternity. But it hasn’t worked out for modern France today.

The trouble is Bolt doesn’t want revolution he sees the current social structure and hierarchy as basically good it needs only to be adjusted to more closely resemble his ideal. Multiculturalism is bad because it produces ghettos of self-generating and sustaining problems. When it comes to showing us evidence Bolt first simplifies he hates complexity so Aborigines are all one and the same as are Muslims. They however see themselves quite diversified and distinct from each other have different languages different customs etc. Then Bolt takes a statistic orlooks for some piece of  shocking evidence  to explain why his totality is a failure. He loves picking out notable Aboriginal leaders most of whom he has never met and targets them Noel Pearson is a favourite in this article. Why firstly because Pearson doesn’t kowtow because he would probably call Bolt a cunt and Bolt would not be comfortable debating him. So it’s better to question the 4 communities Pearson represents from afar. these gulf communities get $100 mill over six years for a 3,500 pop and growing or $100 per week. It’s no large sum for what it entails and the project is thoroughly audited.  Bolt however from afar the land of ignorance tries to suggest the program is a failure on questionable evidence of pertaining to less than 1% of that particular population. If extrapolated to Aborigines across Australia it amounts to 0.0000001% . The man is a serious Neanderthal and should be charged for vilification.

Why is Bolt calling Italians Fwits

Andrew Bolt abuses the Italian government for declaring asylum seekers legal. Dumb! dumb! dumb! He points to the stupidity of the Italians for allowing their  Navy to rescue two thirds of these economic wasters. E4.3mill a day cost to the tax payers of Italy for no return. At least ISIS sells the women and children it takes hostage. His complaints and accusations are a serious never ending howl, why? He’s paints the picture for us and the situation is daunting without a doubt. He makes no effort to empathise with the Italians. Why they have chosen this path other than

“The policy change, driven by a perverted mix of human decency and political correctness, was pure folly: it has acted as a green light to wannabe boat people.”

Implicitly he is crowing. His blog  is a look ‘at us piece’.The humanitarian government of Australia lead by the defender of the free and civilized world Tony Abbott with Scott Morrison  have solved the issue why can’t you. We’ll send you Scott and show you how it’s done. Like Tony ,Scott can lead the way as we are now an honorary members of NATO  and and after all Tony is a dual citizen. It doesn’t matter how far away you are you are truly in our hearts but only as tourists. Listen carefully.

  • Stop the boats!
  • Tow them back!
  • Off shore processing & detention centers in the harshest places and worst conditions.
  • Make it clear NO EU RESETTLEMENT
  • Contract third world country with a money loving government to resettle them.
  • Most important everything must be done in secret.
  •  Should there be a leak Deny Everything. Use Spin Doctors
  • Read Eichman’s Final Solution. Or go see World War Z and think of us.

Bolt doesn’t really give a shit about Italy he’s scaremongering to say. The Morrison way is the only way.

Maybe it’s time the the first world did something about foreign aid not just 5% of GDP. Really do something about poverty. Really do something about Health, Housing Education,Employment and Wealth . Globalisation has done wonders for China but has it helped Africa and the Middle East all we have done there is grabbed their resources. A cheap take take take is no longer good enough.

Andrew Bolt thinks it’s simple so does Musa Cerantonio Two sides of a false coin.

 SIMPLE

COMPLEX

The rule of thumb that once governed enemy identification no longer holds. Islamic State didn’t earn its certified of U.S. enemy status until it attacked U.S. ally Iraq and issued a promise to destroy America. The CIA has already trained 4,000 of IS foes in the Free Syrian Army, which isn’t a friendly gesture. But then IS & FSA appeared to be allies. Complicating Islamic State’s enemy status is its recent threat to topple Russia, whose revived imperialism has put it back on the U.S. enemy list. Russia supports Syria. United States is cooperating with Iran, previously U.S. Enemy No. 1, to punish the Islamic State.

Why we have been  asked to not be involved by the ANIC Andrew Bolt ?

  1. IS is an enemy of the US because it attacked Iraq and threatened America
  2. IS has threatened Russia as it supports Syria (Assad)
  3. US trained the FSA which attacks Syria and IS
  4. IS has never fought Syria but says it supports FSA against Syria
  5. US is cooperating with Iran it’s sworn enemy.
  6. US is being helped by the Kurds enemies of Iraq and IS
  7. Iraq army divisions have joined IS supplying military hardware
  8. Christians and Yazidis supported Iraq and are now enemies of SI
  9. Sunni tribes have varied and wavering loyalties depending on the tribes interest at the time
  10. Now if that’s not complicated enough there are AAE’s there are Allies Adversaries and Enemies one and the same time.
  11. Pakistan, long-time beneficiary of U.S. aid and its proxy in various Afghanistan war campaigns (during which Pakistan both supported the Taliban and sometimes fought against them) and also supports Islamic forces militarily opposed to the United States. Additionally, it harbored Osama bin Laden, who was killed there by invading U.S. troops who declined to notify the Pakistanis of their mission.
  12.   Saudi Arabia, which the United States has long protected, but whose “petrodollars funded schools, charities, and other institutions that spread the intolerant and frequently violent Wahhabi creed,” and Qatar, which hosts U.S. military bases, also had an “undeniable preference during the Arab Uprisings for supporting Islamist groups,” has hosted and backed Hamas, and  supported 9/11 conspirator Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

The case for non-intervention is never more clear than when a country can’t accurately predict the outcome (successful or otherwise) of its military action, its military aid, or other “partnering.”  Will intervention in these Arab wars only extend the bloodshed? Only establish new tyrants? Create new AAEs? If a trillion dollars worth of military intervention over a decade by the United States failed to accomplish its goals in Iraq, what are the chances that less pricey interventions will succeed? The moral certainty has become less automatic. The United States can’t possibly intervene in every region where injustice, murder, military aggression, and pillage take place. So why exactly must it join the Arab world’s great civil wars?

Andrew Bolt the wanna be Yoda of the press says it’s simple “feel the Force Tony feel the Force” It’s Islam.

It’s exactly this that makes him a moral moron. In truth he doesn’t give a rats arse what’s happening in the Middle East it’s not his job. In truth The Australian National Islamic Council press release as wise as it is and  cares about what’s happening is turned into an opportunity for Bolt to continue the lies fuel the fire of abuse the division that’s the engine for Tony Abbott’s deflection from National issues.

BOLT”S Blog today  CUT AND PAST DEFLECTION

http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/column_muslim_leaders_betray_us_again/

Junkyard Dog

Muslim leaders continue to betray Australia by condemning Tony Abbott..

“If the Australian government is serious about reducing the terror threat locally, then it must review its foreign policy decisions with regard to this region.”

ANIC’s press release was a very sensible suggestion given chaos it said nothing and was the reverse of what Andrew Bolt would have us believe. Andrew Bolt is simplest man in town and like Leroy Brown meaner than a junkyard dog. Always has the most impoverished explanation for the world as he sees it because it’s a simple agenda.

Bolt cherry picks a statement from an ANIC press release and labels it as evidence some imaginary betrayal of Abbott. ANIC is saying the issue is complex and not as simple as our government has made out. Bolt conveniently ignores the fact that the press release actually praises  the government for it’s humanitarian action and that there is no mention of Israel in the release as Bolt would have us believe. Julie Bishop echos the same thing “IS is here to stay” Obama recognises the complexity. Simple Simon Bolt  however seems to think by yelling abuse at Islam for long enough is all it takes.  ANIC is saying it won’t think it through. All the abuse radicalises Christians and Muslims alike and misses the reality of what is going on.

Bolt doesn’t see any contradiction  in supplying weapons to terrorists the Kurdish PKK is going against the UN Security Council Resolution the very council on which Australia sits. That we are supplying weapons to rebels fighting an Iraqi  government which we support. That we would continue to supply weapons to rebels in Syria against the Assad government despite the fact they have interests in common with IS. It’s because of that common interest that IS has managed to get without great effort $27 billion of American military hardware. That the current weaponry of the Iraqi government is so depleted. Bolt has no interest in asking why Sunni activity trying to bring down repressive governments All that is just not on his agenda. As Abbott’s media man he’s all he’s doing is deflecting attention

Bolt hides under the cover of being Agnostic as a zealot in media is not a good look. However he is proselytising and it is the core of his blog  why my prophet Jesus is better than your prophet Mohamed na nana na na. Very intellectual is our man  Andrew Bolt.

Why are young Muslims being radicalised because young Christians are as well. Who in the media is encouraging hate of Muslims  every day it’s Andrew. The government doesn’t help because it wants the publicity. The changes in national security have nothing to do with procedural change if it had it wouldn’t be made public it would be secret. ASIO is not in the business of asking how it should operate. Abbott has  turned a secret operation into a political announcement Team Australia. In doing so he has made sure that every Muslim in Australia was suspect and Bolt is is insuring as many people as possible know.

Islam, itself, is one of the “root causes” of this horror in the Middle East — and in Nigeria, Yemen, Libya, Chechnya and more besides — but it the only “root cause” we dare not publicly debate.

Andrew Bolt is  dumber than the 3 monkeys rolled into one.  Repression fosters rebellion. It did in Christian countries as well as Muslim counries. Latin America, Ireland are recent examples. The “Colombian Necktie” wasn’t an invention of brutal rebels or gangsters it was  symbolic message  left by the ruling Juntas.Flying people in their hundreds out to sea and have them skydive without parachutes was government activity not invented by rebels.

Beheading in the Middle East and amputations are not a IS invention it’s been done by governments. Mass shootings and graves were done By Assad and the Iraqi government before those in IS were born. Brutality begets brutality and Bolt makes out it’s peculiar to IS.  What’s brutal is Sarin Gas released indicriminantly it’s  a western invention. Napalm is a western tool. Mass murder begets mass murder Mr Bolt. The rebels are using the same tactics that the governments they are fighting used on them before they became rebels.

There is a similarity however with Andrew Bolt and that’s media manipulation provacation hides real intent get the west to come in on the ground or get them to provide arms and equipment and they will have a continuous supply because even the Iraq army walks away. ANIC has said the situation is complex supplying arms in a duplicitous way will never win hearts. Media abuse posing as some moral arbitor radicalizes the fringe elements in the whole community and not just a section. Mothers & Fathers don’t want to see their kids lives wasted period.

The strange and suspicious case of Tony Abbott’s citizenship.

Why has there been so much serious stonewalling over this issue

the law is perfectly clear on the matter. How is it a compter has been hacked and why is Peta Credlin involved?

Andrew Bolt is Like an Western Islamic Radical

These young people seem to have what psychologists call a very strong “need for cognitive closure,” a disposition that leads to an overwhelming desire for certainty, order, and structure in one’s life to relieve the sensation of gnawing—often existential—doubt and uncertainty. This need is something everyone can experience from time to time.  We all feel that way in moments, in particular situations, but  some of us feel that way more strongly, or maybe even all the time. And if you go through the world needing closure, it predisposes you to seek out the ideologies and belief systems that most provide it. It’s highly attractive to young people who lack a clear sense of self-identity, and are craving a sense of larger significance. Hello Andrew Bolt 20 years ago.

Fundamentalist religions are among the leading candidates. Followers of militant Islam “know exactly what is right and what is wrong, how to behave in every situation,”  “It’s very normative and constraining, and a person who is a bit uncertain, has the need for closure, would be very attracted to an ideology of that kind.” For an outsider coming into Islam and drawn to that sense of certainty that it imparts, you then want to prove yourself. To show your total devotion and commitment to the cause. Hello Andrew Bolt opinionator.

Psychologist Peter Suedfeld of the University of British Columbia, for instance, has investigated a trait called “integrative complexity,” which is clearly related to the need for cognitive closure and can be analysed by examining an individual’s public speeches or writing. It is literally a measure of the complexity of thought, and one of its key aspects is whether one accepts that there are a variety of legitimate views about an issue, rather than thinking there is only one right way. People become more suspicious of outsiders and much more supportive of strong security measures that could curtail individual liberties. And they tend to rally around what is perceived to be a strong leader. QED Andrew Bolt.

Analysing the speeches of Osama bin Laden, that the terrorist leader’s integrative complexity plummeted markedly in the run up to two major attacks: the twin embassy bombings in 1998 in Tanzania and Kenya, and the 2000 attack on the USS Cole. Bin Laden “was very purist in his ideology,” a trait suggesting his need for closure. Hello Andrew Bolt was dumb struck when found guilty of racism unable today to resolve it.

Andrew Bolt admits that 20 years ago he was a confused young man trying to find himself. People who worked with him back then have said he wasn’t the neocon jihadi he is today. We are talking 20 years ago. Bolt over time developed and was drawn to his Tea Party Party ideology as a need for  “cognitive closure” He needed simple black and white answers  as we see today which he feeds his audience. It’s why he’s an Abbott arse wipe. It’s why  you will find simple books about conservative thought  the equivalent of Islam for Dummies in his library. It’s why his favourite music is Wagner and tulip growing his past time. He is not a complex man an it shows on the Bolt Report where he reveals himself each week.

He is a technological Luddite who denies science. He is an aging man with little practical work life experience, obscure views and deep-seated in neoconservative principles. He is typical of Conservative men who can speak at will about what they oppose but have difficulty articulating what it is they believe in, or when they do it is clouded in the hue of feral, often hysterical, extremist privileged morality that provides them  however with “cognitive closure”.

QED  Andrew Bolt has more in common with young Australian Islamic radicals than any Aussie.

HUMANITY DENIER ANDREW BOLT

Capitalism is an idealised  concept that attempts to describe the way we  behave economically and structure our lives. Some individuals break the rules commit crimes, sometimes in association with like-minded others. CBA financial planners, Wall st, etc. Mainstream media doesn’t cry “We were raped by Capitalism”. No we call them  rogues, crooks,  gangs & misfits.

Crime occurs in all communities of various description  Communist,Democratic,Assimilated and Multicultural. Each has different approaches to policing and dealing with crime but crime occurs. Andrew Bolt is specifically opposed to multi-racial communities as they promote diversity as opposed to homogeneity and according to him encourage deviant behaviour. He believes in Assimilation. Rotherham  this morning’s blog had a headline ‘Raped by Multiculturalism’  What went on was in Rotherham for Bolt is a direct consequence of Multiculturalism and the  weakness of  the Left, He has cherry picked to prove  his retarded point.

Bolt doesn’t raise the issues of sexploitation of women on a large-scale such as  by the Russian & Italian Mafia by white christian ‘civilized’ Europeans.  He doesn’t examine sexploitation in Britain as a whole  the scandals at the highest levels of Tory politics.  That’s of no use to him. But a badly run orphanage in  Rotherham suits him down to the ground. It’s not about lack of funds under staffing or just poor welfare support it’s a direct result of Multiculturalism.

Bolt shows us a bylaw indicating  the word ‘Asian’ not to be used as an identifying term when talking about suspects of anything in Rotherham. However strikes me that bylaw supports everything Bolt claims to be an anti-racist, that colour and ethnicity are irrelevant when it comes to law and that’s why he proudly says ” I am not a racist.” He is however a hypocrite and totally two-faced.  Bolt infers the leftist council in Rotherham were ‘sacrificing the young girls  on the altar of ‘political correctness’ for not allowing suspects to be called ‘Asian’ or ‘Muslim’. Bolt  the non racist agrees with the bylaw. Australia should not be differentiated by colour either. Colour does not exist.

There was an orphanage in Brighton some 50 + years ago a very conservative WASP suburb  like Malvern where Bolt lives. It wasn’t a secret that young testosterone & alcohol fueled  young men  would come from all directions to scale the fence at night like tom cats to dally with those  state wards in their dorms. Multiculturalism wasn’t an aspect of that suburb Mr Bolt. Lack of supervision and underfunding certainly was. The Brighton police were aware of it nobody was charged and it wasn’t just an urban myth. Multiculturalism wasn’t a driving force back then Mr Bolt. Doesn’t suit your argument does it Bolt.

Importing a cherry picked example is Bolt’s way of disproving any Multicultural Policy. One could argue that Rotherham is the exception that proves the rule and exceptions do exist. It’s far more persuasive  than saying  multicultural societies have a tendency to drive young men into illegal gang activity and in Bolt’s case Muslims.

One has to doubt somebody who denies  any history prior to his birth in 1959 to try to win a point. On the Bolt Report the man said indigenous Australians today were not the first arrivals in this country therefore have no right to be mentioned in our constitution. He agrees with Tony Abbott that the defining moment in the history of  this country was white settlement not invasion. The other 60,000 years is  irrelevant. Therefore  no mention of persons prior to settlement need be mentioned ‘Terra Nullis  is ok. It seems to me that’s what the Rotherham bylaw is trying to achieve. There are no ‘Asians’ in  Rotherham. But here Bolt want’s them named and shamed  Pakis are Pakis , Muslims to boot and should be identified not protected by ‘political correctness’?He is a RACIST

Trying to understand  Bolt’s ideas is like herding cats. He’s a one-eyed extreme conservative  with a collection of arguments selectively picked  to support a moral framework which he treats as some universal given . He is an elitist of the worst kind. The only reason Rotherham is of any use to him  at the moment is to indulge in his favourite pastime of Muslim bashing.

Bolt doesn’t raise the issues of sexploitation of  women on a larger and more brutal scale than Rotherham all by white christian Europeans. He never really says anything about the Italian & Russian Mafia or sexploitation in Britain in general. He doesn’t raise the scandals at the highest levels of Tory politicians, paedophilia ,rent boys & prostitution in Westminster these are of no use to him. But a badly run underfunded orphanage in  Rotherham suits him down to the ground it’s in his cross hairs and suits his Labour vs Conservative debate in Britain. Bolts just copied and pasted  it because he’s a lazy mother.

Abbott & Bolt beheadings Ok in Saudi Arabia

What’s behind the spike in Saudi beheadings?

Young Bangladeshis stage a mock execution in protest of Saudi Arabia beheading eight workers in 2011 [Reuters]
Human rights groups say there has been an upsurge of executions in Saudi Arabia, after more than one execution per day in the first three weeks of August was carried out. To date this month, the country has almost doubled the number of declared executions in the seven months before August 4.Charges have included murder, drug smuggling, and sorcery. On August 18, four members from the same family in the southwestern city of Najran were beheaded for smuggling a “large quantity of hashish“.  The next day a Saudi national was executed in the northern city of Qurayyat for sorcery. The Saudi Ministry of Justice has announced the execution of 26 individuals since August 4. In the seven months prior, 15 executions were carried out, bringing the total number to 41 so far this year. However, there were no executions during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan this year between June 28 and July 28

Each year, the Saudi government executes foreign nationals as well as local citizens.

Amanda Vanstone Speaks Bolt’s Mind in Fairfax News

Imagine if Abbott had been accused of rape …

Amanda Vanstone dinkus. AMANDA VANSTONE 7:34am The media response seems to be rather different for Bill Shorten.

Once an idiot always an idiot. Amanda Vanstone’s article on Bill Shorten is proof positive of Vanstone’s disregard for truth. She begins with not knowing Shorten’s age. He was born in 1967 Amanda you either failed math or you just make it up as you go along. He is not 44!!!

Shorten was far from kidding himself and very wise raising the issue before your mob could savage it like the mongrels you are. Unlike you kidding yourself that that you can bring any new incite to the story other than keep it running. Get a life your a lazy commentator Amanda Vanstone.  Shorten was fully aware what you media trolls could do with it. Particularly those of the Newscorp and the 2GB variety. He came out first and removed the pounce you would all have done banging heads in the hope to run with it.

What saints you all were running your personal little jihads of restraint

‘there has been a good deal of restraint excercised by both the media and members of parliament in the lead up to and since.’

There is no comparison with Tony Abbott as there were witnesses to the fact that he scared the shit out of Barbara Ramjan. If you deny that you might just be asked to make a court enforced public apology as did Andrew Bolt,Michael Kroger and Alan Jones when they tried to deny that it was truth. So go ahead Amanda deny it publicly please.

If a similar complaint were made against Abbott with his track record of abuse and violence maybe it wouldn’t be held back. There is a clear history of misogynist behaviour by Abbott not by Shorten. However we know for sure if it was Tony you,Newscorp  or 2GB would not have said a peep. Would the ABC and Fairfax  the leftist media  you work for break the news? Do they have your over blown sense of integrity?

What a load of speculative lazy codswallop you write. You have  plagiarised idea from Andrew Bolt’s self aggrandisement on the Bolt Report That was his excuse for not breaking it. You are the Australian journalist that Frank Sinatra once failed to compliment. I’ll say no more and show restraint b***h.

You all weren’t fast enough nor were politicians. Why don’t you name and shame those investigative journalists those trolls with no morals you allude to in your commentary? Wouldn’t it be sweet revenge  for catching you out for taking $$$$ to change a known Mafia persons immigration status and allowing him to remain in this country on compassionate grounds. Another moment of personal jihad was it Amanda Vanstone?

When Shit Happens

He knows how to address an enemy but can’t lead his troops

Abbott used to taunt  Kevin Rudd with Kevin 747 because of his penchant for travel however Abbott will have had the same number as Rudd in his first year.

It seems he is running away from domestic politics particularly his budget and his treasurer Joe Hockey.

“There wouldn’t be many occasions in living memory when a Prime Minister was asked to defend his Treasurer in Question Time and sat silent. That said it all about this Prime Minister who doesn’t want to be near his Treasurer or his Budget. That stood apart from everything else this week.”

“Is the only reason the Prime Minister is holding on to this hopeless and incompetent Treasurer to make him a human shield for this unfair budget? Isn’t it time for the Prime Minister to either dump his Treasurer or dump the budget”    Bill Shorten

Abbott remained silent and didn’t budge. But the prime minister has been central to all major policy. He chaired the committee from which the budget grew. The prime minister opened each meeting of that razor gang committee with an outline of the ideological, political and economic guideposts that would apply, according to people present. He was firm in enforcing them.

As Bill Shorten has decided to wage a full onslaught against the budget Abbott has withdrawn to the area of National Security an area which Bill Shorten will not criticize. So Abbott confronting Islamic State terrorism, standing up to Russia’s Putin and joining Obama’s Iraq mission has become his field of preference even though a bit player it draws positive spin.

The short life of the Abbott government shows how quickly events can turn for the moment National Security is a political assett for Abbott like Border protection he needs to keep it that way.

The  Bush invasion unseated Saddam Hussein, who operated a brutal regime but a stable country. The

enthroned Nouri Al-Maliki, who operated a brutal regime and a deeply unstable country.Maliki spent years conducting a low-intensity civil war against the country’s Sunnis. So when Sunni-based Islamic State fighters swept back from Syria into Iraq, the Sunnis in Iraq’s army were not about to fight them. The Sunnis in the ranks quietly walked away. Four divisions in Iraq’s army simply collapsed turned and joined the other side.

Abbott supporters like Andrew Bolt want a war or at least posture as if Abbott does. Obama is constantly belittled by Bolt. However if one considers the rapid growth of support for ISIS a mixed Sunni coalition brought together because of two brutal Shia governments one might better understand Obama’s position.

In the meantime Abbott is going to continue to play the war time leader trying to put all his past mistakes into forgotten memory.

An article worth reading

Put Bolt in the Headline and Everyone will Read it.

On Facebook every day I post ‘’My Thought for the Day’’ and every now and then I put the question. What word best describes you? My personal word is ‘’observation’’ because it covers a multitude of experiences. With very limited formal education, observation became an integral part of my private classroom. From an early age I became a keen observer. Nothing escaped my scrutiny or sensory surveillance’s. I watched people, nature and life in general. I examined and considered. So it was last weekend when I was watching one of my grandsons playing basketball. One of the boys in the team is from Somalia. A number of families with African heritage have moved to our area. I observed the mateship of their winning endeavours and the generous enthusiasm of their play between matches. The fun, friendship and frivolity of their connectedness was a delight to watch. The dark lad is of enormous talent with a generous smile, a face as black as night and gregarious nature.

I have also observed the total unabashed acceptance by children of different races at school, and at the local swimming pool where mature judgement is made by children unhindered by the prejudicial ignorance of adults.

My thoughts drifted to my own youth and I wondered just what it is that causes people to be racist. I recalled as a small boy being told what side of the street to walk to school because Jews lived on the other side. I lived through the post war era of immigration when Australians belittled and sneered at Italians and Greeks. Then later with bi partisan agreement we accepted the Vietnamese who came by boat. But not before debasing them with the worst part of our own uniquely Australian prejudice.

Memories came back to me of a pub I used to drink at on my way home from work. The beer garden attracted a cohort of Aussie builders who sub contracted concreting work to a group of Italians. I would observe how the Aussie fellows would run them down with the foulest of language and then drink with them, without a hint of condemnation when they arrived.

There was a time when a relation who was traveling by caravan around Australia rang me from some remote area highly populated by indigenous people. After the usual greeting the following words were advanced.

‘’I’m not a racist but’’ When you hear someone say those words they generally are. What followed was a tirade of critical commentary about every aspect of Aboriginal culture and living standards. I have no doubt that much of what she was saying was true however, there was no situation that wasn’t replicated in white city society. Her comments were therefore racist. The singling out of any group for reason of drawing attention to color is abhorrent to me.

More recently I have experienced racism where I live. I have two neighbors (one now deceased) who when talking about indigenous folk have described aboriginals as taking up to much space.
At a junior football final a couple of years ago a teenage boy was standing behind me verbalising a young aboriginal player of immense talent. I allowed the insults to insinuate themselves into the minds around me. The aboriginal boy had heard the remarks and was a bit distressed about it. I turned and said to the boy of uncouth mouth.

‘’So yours is what a racists face looks like’’
The teenager slunk away probably not used to having his racism confronted. In the unnatural silence that had invaded the group where I was standing I received a couple of congratulatory slaps on the shoulder.

You see I hate all forms of racism in a way that even someone like me, with a love of the moulding of words as disciples for good, cannot do. It was a little brave of me to do what I did because I am getting on in years but we must confront it.

In watching the antics of children of different races in their play we can bear witness to the sin of the abusers of decency. By the influence of those who cannot concede that we were all black once. And those who believe that superiority is determined by a chemical compound.

Children celebrate difference and prove to us that racism is not a part of the human condition. It is taught, or acquired. You have to learn it and those who tutor it and preach it are to be pitied for their ignorance and imbecility. No one is born a racist but we are born into racist societies.

What is racism?
It is best described in two parts. Firstly it is the belief that one race is superior to another. That it accounts for differences in human character and ability. Secondly racism is, discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Scott Woods puts it another way.

The problem is that white people see racism as conscious hate, when racism is bigger than that. Racism is a complex system of social and political levers and pulleys set up generations ago to continue working on the behalf of whites at other people’s expense, whether whites know/like it or not. Racism is an insidious cultural disease. It is so insidious that it doesn’t care if you are a white person who likes black people; it’s still going to find a way to infect how you deal with people who don’t look like you. Yes, racism looks like hate, but hate is just one manifestation. Privilege is another. Access is another. Ignorance is another. Apathy is another. And so on. So while I agree with people who say no one is born racist, it remains a powerful system that we’re immediately born into. It’s like being born into air: you take it in as soon as you breathe. It’s not a cold that you can get over. There is no anti-racist certification class. It’s a set of socioeconomic traps and cultural values that are fired up every time we interact with the world. It is a thing you have to keep scooping out of the boat of your life to keep from drowning in it. I know it’s hard work, but it’s the price you pay for owning everything.
Racism is preserved in many and various ways. Even Christian art propagates the myth of Jesus being white when in fact he would have been dark skinned and of Middle Eastern appearance. But art depicts him as white with European features and more often than not as effeminate.
Christians also cannot bring themselves to the point of accepting that dark skinned people were responsible for the introduction of religion into society. No white person has ever introduced a major religion. Some Christians even quote Bible verse to justify white superiority.
Even the law disproportionally targets colored (I hate that term) people resulting in levels of incarceration much higher than other groups.

The worst perpetrators of racism are those who do it through the guise of free speech. People like Andrew Bolt. A journalist of mediocre talent who writes in a grammatical style attractive to the intellect of 13 year olds, unable to challenge the mind (or his argument)with a word, or sentence.

Recently he wanted the law changed so that he would be freer through his column to abuse and defame. When the legislation was turfed because of its unpopularity Tony Abbott felt obliged to phone this journalist of such little virtue and apologise.

People who support Bolt and his racism need to ask just why it is that he is fixated on the subject of race (and Muslims and climate change) and the answer is simple. Murdoch has built his news empire on smut and controversy. The formula has made him extremely wealthy. And there is no doubt that Bolt is paid extraordinary amounts of money to proliferate the pages of the Herald Sun with this sort of gutter journalism.

Let us not forget what Justice Bromberg, said about Bolt’s use of language. He said,

“His style and structure is highly suggestive and designed to excite. His style was ”not careful, precise or exact” and the language not moderate or temperate but often strong and emphatic”. There is a liberal use of sarcasm and mockery,” he wrote. Language of that kind has a heightened capacity to convey implications beyond the literal meaning of the words utilised. It is language, which invites the reader to not only read the lines, but to also read between the lines.”

We should also remember that during the London riots, of the not too distant past Bolt in one of his pieces used the word ‘aped’ to describe the copycat behaviour of some people. The use of the word was legitimate in that sense until you appreciate that he was talking about black West Indians, and then the word became racist.
Bolt keeps coming back to skin, or the color of it as if it were a sexual fetish that gives him endless gratification.

And it must be said that Andrew is a convicted racist and has been found to on many occasions lie in his writing, particularly on the environment. In addition he has been convicted of defaming a female magistrate.
He wants the law changed so that in the future under the guise of free speech he will be able to vilify at his heart’s content.
Take two recent examples from his TV program. ‘’The Bolt Report’’
Bolt is an opponent of an attempt, which has bi partisan support, to recognise indigenous people in the constitution, contending that to single out any particular group is racist because it divides Australians? Former Labor minister Craig Emerson thus declared him a racist by his own criteria.
“Then you are a racist,” Emerson said, “because of the comments you made in relation to Indigenous people. By your own criterion, and that’s what you did. You identified a group of people and went for them.”
He was correct. Emerson’s remark relates to the legal case in which Bolt was found to have breached racial discrimination laws in articles that implied light-skinned Indigenous people identified themselves as Aboriginal for personal gain.
He was guilty by his own admission.

Another more recent example is when he quiet bizarrely declared that ‘’aboriginals weren’t here first’’. As I said earlier he has this thing about race that sends him into some kind of mental climax that needs constant stimulation. If you want to figure out the argument he was putting go here and then explain it to me. I cannot.

I will end where I started with my observation of that gregarious dark skinned boy playing joyfully in fellowship with his light skinned mates, and the fact each was different in color, one to the other didn’t enter the unblemished purity of their companionship. And I silently prayed that it never would.

Wonder When the Seed Is Planted

I look upon the child’s face and see
Innocence – unblemished purity
Translated in looks virtuous
How sweet how incorruptible

Then it happens with measured subtly
The distortion of youthful thought
Insinuated into free
And immature minds

I wonder when the seed is planted
When evil first takes hold
And intolerance evolves
To become scum on the pond of life

Who grants permission to damage the child?
Of its pristine purity
The wonderment of adventure
And unfiltered creativity

Is it the sin of the father?
That makes a child loathe
That makes them xenophobic
Racist just like him

When does it take root this hatred?
That enters the child’s mind
To be carried with them always
Fermenting as they grow

Are parents so imbued?
With experiences of the past
That forgiveness is impossible
Bad memories seem to last

So they pass it onto their children
And intolerance lingers on
Licking on the finger of hate
It seems to have no end

I can only ask that compassion
Might replace their putrid sin
And the cry that is inside each heart
Will – let understanding in

“The most friendliest city” “The most liveable city” not according to our greatist alarmist and hypocrite

Andrew Bolt sees porn

“Called “capital of cool” Melbourne was praised for boasting an abundance of amazing nightlife, food and hotels, but was also praised for its parks and “fabulous” public art, and its people’s “wonderful sense of humour”.

So we have been voted the most ‘livable’ and now the most ‘friendliest’ city in the world by Conde Naste no less

Do we really deserve this  high praise with the likes of Andrew Bolt in our midst who continually tells us were on our way to hell in a hand-basket. I like Mike Carlton think he’s a fart in an overcrowded train but Mike lives in Sydney which only made it to 5th spot

Bolt is a full-blown, staunch opponent multiculturalism. Assimilation is his dream forward He’s for TEAM AUSTRALIA but not a supporter of Abbott sucking up to incompatible cultures telling them they should join. He’s even against Abbott saying if you want to migrate you need to join. Bolt’s advice is simple ban them! Tourism it might be  fine as long as it’s done through stringent vetting channels.Tourism through  a fish bowl might be ok as we couldn’t be tainted by these other cultures. After all Ebola in Africa should be a warning about the traffic flow of people and it’s consequences. No Islamic tourists or students should not even for commercial reasons let alone taken on as immigrants. ISIL is in Indonesia.  So there goes the Melbourne Cup because  thoroughbred owners many of whom are Muslim and most likely funding ISIS

Bolt is such a hypocrite he’s right wing  and extremely pro-Israel and anti- multiculturalism. He totally supports Israel and it’s right-wing government which is vehemently anti -assimilation and pro Multiculturalism. A country that definitely doesn’t want Team Israel, doesn’t want inter racial marriage Jews with Muslims and certainly doesn’t want it’s women converting because Judaism is both a religion and a race. A Jewish pillar is “you know who your mother is  but not your father” still holds in Rabbinical law. Right wing and religious Jews in Israel want clear and defined multicultural guidelines. I have no issue with this and nor would the majority of this the friendly multicultural city that tourists seem to love. Bolt has no tolerance for any of this which is fine by us. He should piss off and we all promise to smile while the hypocrite is doing it.

Would Bolt pass a Team Australia test a simple one like the Taxi drivers have to do? 100% fail, no harder like Financial Planners are required to do.  You can’t get simpler than that he’d still fail. I’ll bet Bolt does not know.

  • The words to Advance Australia Fair
  • The last four captains of the Aussie Cricket team
  • Know the directions to Reservoir
  • Or even know what the first 4 Holden models were

I said simple cultural questions. So would Andrew Bolt please stand up and leave or get a 457 visa while here. Take classes in friendliness and livability and Assimilate before trying to re-enter this country. I don’t think he’d get in to Team Australia. I’d hope ASIO with their increased budget  would have him banned as a verbal terrorist a vilifier a history denier like  Holocaust deniers. Bolt denies  this city for him it’s not the most livable it’s not the most friendly it’s infested with cultural deviants and dangerous areas where white racists fear to go. Bolt is a closet Multiculturalist but walls need to be built to prevent any cross fertilisation for Christ sake his son might fall in love with Jasmine

WHO SAID "I’M NOT RIGHT WING"?WHO WAS PUT TO THE SIDE BY TONY ABBOTT? WHO TELLING ABBOTT " CUT YOUR LOSSES" AND IS NOW SMARTING ABOUT LNP WIMPS?

Exactly how Liberal is this government?

This Liberal Government:

– has dropped its plans to restore free speech.
– maintains the fiction that man-made global warming threatens the world and we can stop it.
– proposes to change the constitution to divide Australians on the basis of their “race”.
– maintains absurdly high levels of immigration despite evidence of overcrowding and social dysfunction.
– has actually increased government spending.
– has left the ABC largely untouched, and dangerously huge.
– has left the Human Rights Commission intact and now functioning as a de facto opposition.
– proposes intrusive new surveillance powers it struggles to explain.
– has left oppressive workplace restrictions in place.
– has raised the top tax rate by 2 per cent, and broke an election promise in doing so.

– opposes same-sex marriage, but is toying now with allowing a conscience vote that is more likely to allow it.

Is Liberal Democratic Senator David Leyonhjelm the more authentic Liberal voice

I am very disappointed that the government has dropped its plan to repeal section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act under the guise of national unity. If we want to live in a free society, we should take the advice of Chopper Read and harden up. There are many pressing issues for our governments and courts, but the question of who has had their feelings hurt is not one of them…
The government is now saying it will also force Internet service providers to store the Internet communications of their customers. We are all to be treated as potential criminals-in-waiting, with the evidence to be held in case it is needed.
This is not acceptable. In a liberal democracy in which the government serves the people, free speech must be the default option, with every encroachment subject to strict justification. Agencies such as ASIO must never be given the benefit of the doubt.

A few days ago the man was begging the government to cut it’s losses and do deals just to get anything through the senate.  Lose a battle to fight another war but for Christ sake do something Tony
AND TONY DID OOPS!!!

Andrew Bolt is a Self Declared liar and Racist . "Islam is not a race I’m free to say what I want without impunity" " Section 18C makes it a danger to talk about" Therefore must think it’s racial to do so

What he is saying is the very people, the very ethnic groups that would take exception to 18C are the same ones that are, in part, some of them, affected or take offence to the anti-terrorism legislation. To make them feel not picked on he’ll retain laws against free speech,” Bolt identified “obviously muslims, jihadists, people from the Middle East.”

“Don’t we need a frank debate, more frank than it’s been so far into how the Islamic culture, muslim culture, how they integrate here?”
And the retention of these laws make such a debate legally dangerous.
Bolt is comfortable saying publically “Aboriginal Culture is to blame for the individual and community problems of Aboriginies” He is comfortable for attacking Islam because it is a religion and not a race and now he is saying the topics are dangerous and the press and media are all pussies for not raising these issues. The man is like a beached whale thrashing around in every direction. He is now declaring himself to be a racist and the issues he raises are racial. He is here admitting to be a self confessed liar.
Cultures are not immutable they change and influence each other there is not an either or clash. Oh dear we drink red wine and eat spaghetti. Shit we eat middle eastern food. For Bolt that’s Haram, non kosher and dangerous because Assimilation was moving upstream. In the 50’s Australia was in need of labour and lot’s of it. So we accepted a multicultural intake of Turks, Greeks,Lebanese, Yugoslavs and even Dutch. What happened this country boomed and flourished. We learnt to eat, drink sing celebrate and do things differently. Nationality clubs and services sprung up and yes we imported issues as well. Those issues didn’t go away because migrants totally assimilated but people had economic success and were allowed to develop.
Curmudgeons like Bolt existed ‘wog’, ‘dago’ ‘slope’. Urban myths abounded ‘ if you go to Collingwood you’ll get knifed’ ‘All Vietnamese are drug dealers’ ‘Yugoslavs were all Ustashi’

In 1950s Australia, for example, women grew up accepting that women were inferior to men. No one ever said it. They simply soaked up the culture. Some knew with absolute and unconscious certainty, that any woman who hadn’t made the house spotless, washed and ironed every drawer-escapee, cooked a three-course breakfast and packed lunches for her family, prepared the evening’s roast and baked a cake and, finally, donned the mandatory ‘lippy’, hat, and gloves for appearing in public, even on her own front porch … yes, any woman who hadn’t done all this and more by 8am … was a slut.
Ban the bomb demonstrators and anti Vietnam were the ages equivalent of terrorists the CPA members were denigrated  under constant surveillance by ASIO  The Andrew Bolt’s of the day claimed ‘and so it should be ‘as they were a threat to the Aussie way of life. Frank Hardy was the Mike Carlton of the day. Conscientious objectors were thrown in jail, poofter bashing was god’s rightful retribution and single mothers non existent. “Catholic dogs stink like frogs” was the the abuse thrown at me on the way home from primary school.
Bolt blames Aboriginal Culture for their demise. Arnhem Land Peoples was a kinship culture contrasted with white society in that there was no chance of accumulating wealth when one’s relatives cannot rightly be refused if they are in need.” They has been in contact with Macassan Muslims and they were in no way disrupted by contact with Muslims something which cannot be said about the later cultural contact experiences of these now oppressed people. While Arnhem land peoples spoke of the period of contact with Macassar as a Golden Age.  This attitude of the indigenous people contrasted starkly with relations during the period of assimilation and oppression under the white colonial administration. The contrast is plainly between the generosity and democracy of the Macassarese and the stinginess, meanness and colour bar of the Whites.”

Bolt’s biggest fear is that by retaining section 18C and Multi cultural policies Australia is “being asked to assimilate to immigrant values” in response to Mr Abbott’s decision to drop the changes.
This coming from the mouth of an admitted elitist who has said he shunned and was never drawn to Australian Culture until he married and was introduced to it by his father-in-law. Why do we accept this Muslim-hating, Koori-hating, racist bigot?

BOLT INSISTED "TONY CUT YOUR LOSSES,CUT YOUR LOSSES" AND HE DID……

Abbott’s Warm Fuzzy Melting Pot

Sorry Bro Next Time

Breaking news! “In light of the complex and challenging security environment facing Australia” Abbott has made another captain’s call; the amendments to section 18c of the racial vilification act are now officially “off the table”.
Apparently while it was perfectly OK for shock jocks to indiscriminately hurl racial abuse a few months back, what we NEED now, as a nation, is to set aside what divides us so we can all come together in a big warm fuzzy hug of national unity.
That is, of course, except for when we come together in collective condemnation of anyone who has been to “a designated conflict zone”.
Under new legislation on the Coalition drawing board, any “Aussie” so stupid as to go to “a designated conflict zone” without having the forethought to film their entire visit, (as proof they are not a terrorist), could be jailed without proof, refused re-entry, expelled from the country, or simply have their their citizenship revoked, all without any proof whatsoever they did anything wrong.
While I can’t pretend I am not pleased that the racial vilification act has survived Abbott’s ill thought out onslaught, I must confess to being somewhat skeptical as to the motivations for his back down.
I am quite sure someone within the LNP has pointed out that, given his abysmal standing in the polls, it might be better to pick his battles. With his reforms to 18c almost universally condemned (and looking set to face defeat), and with the budget stench still clouding the air, maybe it might be prudent to throw us a bit of a feel good bone, particularly when a much more Machiavellian ambition – to establish a legal precedent for the removing the burden of proof – could be at play.

But then again maybe I am over thinking this, maybe it is just because, as Guy Rundle wrote this week in the Saturday Paper, “if George Brandis gets rolled on 18C, he will have no honourable choice but to resign as attorney-general”, and Abbott doesn’t want to lose a high profile scalp right now.
Nevertheless Brandis will go

According to Andrew Bolt recognition of Aboriginies in our constitution is "useless concession to the New Racism"

Bolt’s fear of loss in Indigenous recognition in the Constitution

“Unacknowledged in all of this are those people who created what is “now known as the Australian nation” and Constitution, and their descendants and their culture that turned a harsh continent into a prosperous homeland for 24 million inhabitants.”

Bolt is racist he blames Aboriginal Culture as the root cause for individual and community problems not historical intervention and the fragmentation of culture by white civilization. There was no genocide, no stolen children only a history of unsuccessful attempts at welfare. Since white people arrived in Australia it has always been difficult for them to understand Aboriginal culture. Ignorance led to many thousand Aboriginal people being killed by white settlers, and attempts were made to “breed out” their culture through assimilation. Bolt insists that Assimilation policies are right for  today to breed out cultural differences. Basically he argues for a form of Cultural genocide. Arguing Aboriginal Culture is the problem. It is the equivalent and the same as Rolf Harris saying I was seduced. Or the Mullah that raped a 10 year old saying he was seduced. The victim is to blame.
Aboriginal people continue to feel misunderstood by white Australian politics and do face discrimination. They claim that many legislative acts reflect a white point of view where at least a dual view would be necessary. Racial discrimination is embedded in the Australian Constitution and continues to be enacted in the laws and policies of our states and territories. The current government wants to enact constitutional recognition. However Andrew Bolt disagrees and sees Multiculturalism of any sort an antithesis to social harmony and equality.
On 3 April 2009 Australia supported the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). The move came after the declaration was formally adopted by the UN General Assembly on 13 September 2007 with the support of 143 member states and the opposition of just four—Australia, Canada, the United States and New Zealand. The declaration was 20 years in the making and sets out basic standards for the recognition and protection of Indigenous peoples’ rights worldwide, including identity, land and resources, self-determination, freedom from discrimination, culture, traditions and language. You can read more about many of these areas on the website exploring Australian Aboriginal culture
Maybe Bolt needs to address current issues of  ensuring Human Rights for all first rather than  Racism or losing his colonial entitlements. One such right is ensuring cultural identities be recognized in the processes of all institutions. That Aboriginies are treated by them as equal and not because they are Aboriginal that the duality be recognized. That recognition to cultural differences is taken into account when aboriginal communities point out their problems and are given help to address them. One method for all approach to  different communities will never work but that’s what Bolt advocates. His defence “I’m not a Racist because it’s culture not race we need to change doesn’t hold water. Extrapolate and you have “stop anybody that’s not like us”. Aparthied by Immigration policy coupled with Assimilation policies will stop the differences which are such a danger.
According to Bolt race has nothing to do with it
Poffessor Mick Dodeson AM, BJuris, LLB, DLitt, LLD, FASSA is an Indigenous Australian barrister, academic, and member of the Yawuru peoples in the Broome.

“Human rights do not dispossess people. Human rights do not marginalise people. Human rights do not cause their poverty and they don’t cause the gaps in the life expectancy and other life outcomes. It is the denial of rights that is the largest contributor to these things. The value of human rights is not in their existence; it is in their implementation.”
