Fox Hosts Lash Out At CNN For Finally Noticing They're Not 'News'

Unfortunately, there is only one Democratic Party in America that protects or seems to protect Democractic processes. It’s not the Republican Party. There needs to be a redefinition of what “news ” is and a re-examination of the First Amendment Protection given. Julian Assange a publisher and journalist is accused of a crime he didn’t even commit in America and is being extradited without bein afforded any First Amendment Protection. He is recognized by the rest of the world as a member of the press and has won awards in recognition of that. Fox News is in America and is recognized as the very antithesis of news but receives that protection. America isn’t the living example of a Democracy it professes to be.

By Heather — December 19, 2021 As we’ve discussed here many times (and others have as well), the rest of the corporate media needs to stop treating Fox as a legitimate news outlet, and start acknowledging that they’re nothing more than right-wing propaganda dressed up as “news.” The recently revealed January 6th texts between Mark Meadows and many of the anchors on Fox has forced networks such as CNN and others to finally start treating Fox in the manner they deserve, with Don Lemon wondering why they’re even allowed into the White House press room to ask questions: This was met with the reaction you might expect from Media Buzz host Howard Kurtz, who opened his show this Sunday complaining about Lemon. Kurtz pointed to Fox’s defense of Jim Acosta (who had his press badge revoked after Trump lost it during one of his insane briefings, because he didn’t like a question Acosta asked him) as justification that Fox is somehow worthy of the same professional courtesy from CNN now. Kurtz followed up by bringing on Special Report host Bret Baier to join him in complaining about Lemon. Baier also helped play cleanup on aisle five over the mess the network finds themselves in now that

Republicans, Saying the Quiet Part Loud, Discuss Plans for “Anglo-Saxon” Traditions Caucus – Mother Jones

Anti-Trump lawmakers were quick to denounce the new caucus. But House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy didn’t exactly come out swinging. Rather than critique the group directly, he vaguely denounced the idea of white nationalism as a GOP value. “America is built on the idea that we are all created equal and success is earned through honest, hard work. It isn’t built on identity, race, or religion,” McCarthy tweeted. “The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln & the party of more opportunity for all Americans—not nativist dog whistles.” But is that true if the new America First Caucus is tolerated?

A nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue: Trump could retain the White House

Like Freddy Krueger, the serial killer in A Nightmare on Elm Street, Donald Trump could still return to haunt us. It all depends on the Electoral College, a system unique to the U.S.

Why is the Israeli Gov’t Rooting for a 2nd Term for Trump and his White Nationalist, anti-Semitic Allies?

“I know you Jews your only here to protect your money” Donald Trump

The JVP is right: “Israel is a state and does not represent communities in the diaspora… It is what it is.” However, if the Israeli government takes a stand in the fight against anti-Semitism, it should stop looking for anti-Semites where they do not exist, which is not amongst defenders of human rights and universal rules of refuge and return. If Netanyahu and his sidekick Benny Gantz are really serious about tackling anti-Semitism, they should tackle the support base of their main ally in the White House. This has never happened, of course, and it never will.

A MODERN DAY NERO

US President Donald Trump has described his COVID-19 infection as a “blessing from God” in a new video filmed at the White House in which he promises to make the experimental drug he received available for free to all Americans. Introducing himself as “your favourite president”, Trump said he regarded the experimental antibody treatment, made by pharma company Regeneron, as a “cure” for coronavirus. There is no cure for the virus, according to medical experts.

Fox News

Fox News has shown that it will mete out virtually no consequences for its employees’ ethical lapses — whether for the Seth Rich conspiracy theories peddled by avowed pro-Trump opinion host Sean Hannity, or its supposedly “hard news” division effectively acting as the communications wing for the Trump administration and the Republican Party.

How Kushner and other Key Trump Officials Plotted to Give Saudis the Atom Bomb in Return for Billions

Ann Arbor (Informed Comment) – The House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight and Reform has issued a Report on a plot to make billions of dollars by selling Saudi Arabia sensitive American nuclear technology that could allow the Kingdom to develop nuclear weapons. The scheme required breaking US law, which forbids technology transfers that might allow nuclear proliferation.

This scheme is the ultimate in criminality, where US government resources (remember the Manhattan project?) are given away to another government by the white collar criminals now running the US government so that they can scoop up private massive fortunes rivaling those of the richest persons in the world such as Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.

Rudy G and Bubble Boy Trump: Call It Implausible Deniability | The Smirking Chimp

I have visited that weird Fox bubble on occasion, walked the halls of what feels more like an Orwellian Ministry of Truth than a newsroom. Reality is cast to the side.

Now these two bubbles are as one. Fox and 1600 Pennsylvania have merged, now virtually indistinguishable from each other, and inside that newly created, gigantic toxic bubble sits a manchild oozing irrational exuberance as sycophants tell him he’s the greatest thing since Genghis Khan strode the Earth.

Treason: Obama Iran Deal Officials targeted by Trump via Israeli Black Cube

Making policy by destroying the reputations of middle management in the government is of course highly destructive to the democratic process.

Ronan Farrow of The New Yorker now reports that the Trump aides who targeted former Obama administration officials Ben Rhodes and Colin Kahl used the Israeli Black Cube agency, the same one deployed by Harvey Weinstein to keep his many victims of sexual harassment in line. It advertises itself as being able to provide the best former Mossad agents for the job (but if they are the best why are they former?)

I mind this behavior quite a lot and fear it won’t get the traction it deserves among the press and the public.

How Donald Trump turned his presidential team into the ‘Fox News White House’ | The Independent

President Donald Trump’s favourite TV network is increasingly serving as a West Wing casting call, as the President reshapes his administration with camera-ready personalities.

Mr Trump’s new national security adviser, John Bolton, is a former United Nations’ ambassador, a White House veteran – and perhaps most importantly a Fox News channel talking head. Mr Bolton’s appointment, rushed out late Thursday, follows Mr Trump’s recent effort to recruit Fox guest Joseph diGenova for his legal team.

Mr Bolton went on Fox News to discuss his selection and said it had happened so quickly that “I think I’m still a Fox News contributor”.

Press secretary Sarah Sanders’ surprise assertion appears to confirm that a contract existed between Trump and Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

Douglass Remains Silent On Bowling Green Massacre

douglass

WASHINGTON – The White House released a statement today expressing its shock and sadness that up-and-coming civil rights leader Frederick Douglass has remained silent regarding the recent tragedy in Bowling Green, Kentucky in which a number of white Christians were slaughtered by refugees from the Middle East.

“Mr. Douglass’ continued silence can mean only one thing;” said the statement, “that he secretly applauds the actions of these bloodthirsty terrorists who have infiltrated our homeland.”

The perpetrators, an elderly Syrian woman and her seven-year-old granddaughter, had apparently hidden themselves within the tens of thousands of refugees currently flooding every city in the country.

“Somehow they just slipped through the cracks,” said a Homeland Security officer who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of being executed by the Administration.

“Our usual method is to just back a ship up to a dock in some port in Yemen and let anyone who wants to jump on board. We make damn sure they aren’t terrorists by making them fill out a three-page questionnaire, and swearing it’s true while putting their hand on a Bible. I can’t imagine how those two managed outwit our vetting process. They must be real masterminds.”

Kellyanne Conway told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press today that given the seriousness of the situation the Administration will have to re-think its relationship with Mr. Douglass and other civil rights leaders.

“If Mr. Douglass and his fellow black leaders aren’t even going to acknowledge the tragic loss of life in Bowling Green, then if you ask me they have no place in American society.”

Conway then went outside the studio, mounted her unicorn, and rode back to the White House.

Pushed or Jumped? Who is this moderate coalition of rebels? Who is the coalition of ME states? If I donate money to our allies will I be arrested?

Responding to Syrian objections over the Administration’s plans to fly combat missions against ISIS in Syrian territory, President Obama told journalists at the White House that as far as he was concerned, Bashar Assad could “Fuck off and die.”

obama_wut_AP

In a speech to the nation last night, Mr. Obama said the United States was recruiting a global coalition to “degrade and ultimately destroy” the militants, known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. He warned that “eradicating a cancer” like ISIS was a long-term challenge that would put some American troops at risk.

“We will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are,” Mr. Obama declared in a 14-minute address. “That means I will not hesitate to take action against ISIL in Syria, as well as Iraq,” he added, using an alternative name for ISIS. “This is a core principle of my presidency: If you threaten America, you will find no safe haven.”

Mr. Obama specifically stated that he would not place U.S. “boots on the ground” in Iraq or Syria, which most intelligent pundits interpreted as meaning that we will have no large ground units in the Middle East like we did in the recent Iraq and Afghanistan wars, but did not preclude the use of special forces units and forward air observers.

Obama-Angry

Although Mr. Obama has received political support from both parties on his policy statement, some pundits on the far right, particularly those who depend on Fox News for their income, have criticized the President for not going far enough. In addition, several members of the wing nut radio talk show crowd, along with former members of the Bush Administration, continue to blame Obama for the whole situation.

“The Bush Administration and its cheerleaders caused this clusterfuck by invading Iraq in the first place,” said White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest. “Anyone who listens to Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, or Sean Hannity on this subject needs his head examined anyway. They’re best bet is to shut the fuck up, that way they won’t sound so ignorant.”
