France’s Macron: “I am combating the Project of the extreme Right … which is to put an End to Renewable Energy”

We know where Morrison stands on Climate. He won’t put his signature to any International agreements while pretending and posturing he’s onside. Morrison is leaving it all up to the corporate world to solve  Climate Change. He isn’t about holding any hose he says.  It’s up to the commercial genius of the corporate world to save the planet according to the LNP. A world whose interests run counter to any effort or need to accelerate the transition to green energy as fast as possible. Never mind Morrison is lying while subsidizing the continued activity of Mining, export and Industry’s use of fossil fuels while saying. “I don’t hold the hose but making sure there’s only one hose to hold and it’s not green.

The two frontrunners in France’s presidential election who now face a run-off election against one another, Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, have diametrically opposed stances on the climate emergency and renewable energy.

The U.S. Needs COVID Relief and Renewable Energy, Not a Space Force

The Biden administration will have to make hard choices around the pandemic and climate change while continuing to spend close to $1 trillion a year on its military. Adding yet another military service when American states are reeling from the economic fallout of COVID-19 and the warming oceans are churning out superstorms is something neither the U.S. nor the world can afford.

Australia’s Massive Solar Energy Hub in Outback to produce coal-killer Green Ammonia

Ammonia does not produce greenhouse gas emissions when burned. Engineers are working on ensuring that it also does not produce nitrogen oxides, which are a pollutant that contributes to ozone. Ammonia can be used in coal-fired electricity plants instead of coal. It is also suitable as a fuel for, e.g., large ships.

South Australia first to be 100% Solar-Powered, as Solar becomes Cheapest form of Energy

Not Newsworthy in Australia

The state of South Australia is the future. For one hour, on October 11, all of its electricity was generated by solar power, the first time this feat was achieved by any major jurisdiction in the world. So reports Richard Davies of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. October is a spring month in Australia.

Panic buying? Begging Trump for oil? No worries. She’ll be right

A speedboat of Iran's Revolutionary Guard trains a weapon toward the British-flagged oil tanker Stena Impero, which was seized in the Strait of Hormuz on July 19.

No need to accelerate to renewables Trump will save us (ODT)

And our government is negotiating to purchase the right to some of the US stockpile, which will remain in the salt domes until we call for it to be sent our way on ships, assuming they can get here in time.

In short, if things get a bit more tricky, our choice will be panic buying at the pumps, or going cap in hand to Trump, who cares about nothing but a sweet deal … for him.

You can bet he’ll want a lot more than a pound of flesh – or the Australian military on Iran’s borders – in return.

Anyone got any old skates? It was simpler then.

China surges with 52 Gigs of new Solar as Trump kneecaps US sector with 30% Tariffs | Informed Comment

The incredible 2017 solar surge in China brought its total solar installed capacity up to 130 gigawatts. As a cursory look at these statistics makes obvious, in one year China increased its solar by nearly 70 percent. In short, it wasn’t so far from doubling its ability to generate electricity from solar sources.
