Polish PM joins Trump, Meloni and Orbán in addressing right-wing rally in Spain | Notes From Poland

It’s an International Right-Wing that wants to keep Labor National and domesticated and divided. Whereas humans while multicultural and diverse are materially united by their labour.

Poland’s prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, has joined figures including Donald Trump, Giorgia Meloni and Viktor Orbán in addressing a global right-wing rally in Spain.

“The EU wants to turn its back on tradition…the Brussels bureaucrats are expanding their powers…to create a transnational beast without true and traditional values, without a soul,” said Morawiecki, who had been welcomed onto the stage by Santiago Abascal, leader of Spain’s Vox party.

Belarus condemned for ‘hijacking’ after fake bomb diverts Ryanair flight

President Alexander Lukashenko is being blasted for forcing the passenger plane to make an emergency landing so authorities could arrest a journalist who has been critical of his authoritarian leadership. The presidential press service said a bomb threat was received while the Ryanair plane was over the Belarusian territory. Ryanair said in a statement that the plane’s crew was notified by Belarus of a potential security threat on board and were instructed to divert to the nearest airport, Minsk. Police then proceeded to detain journalist Roman Protasevich, a prominent opponent of Mr Lukashenko.

Why the Neoliberals Won’t Let This Crisis Go to Waste

Many observers expected that the 2008 financial crisis would mark the end of neoliberalism. Instead, we saw a wave of privatization and sharp cuts in public services. Today, the forces best placed to exploit the coronavirus pandemic are still those who already have power: the neoliberals who’ve been shaping the economic policy agenda for decades.

Has anybody been to the psych ward of a public hospital? It’s not unusual to find people with severe mental health issues to be telling you they are Jesus or getting messages from god, being paranoind an a danger to themselves an others. We don’t instantly label them as ‘radicalized’ or even self-radicalised terrorist Christians. However if a Muslim has these mental issaues we don’t describe them as severely mentally ill. Why is it politician’s and the conservative right-wing media jump the gutter and immediately declare we are all in danger. The problem being is that we have buried the issue of menal health so that none of us recognize it and if we do we do nothing about it and often allow it to escallate and then excuse it for something else and that’s not a religious issue. Christians with severe mental illness exiist and have done extreme  criminal things that have take them to Thomas Embling the hospital for the criminally insane and even under the most strict supervision serious incidents have even occurred there. Our issus isn’t “Muslim radicalisation” our problem is we refuse to recognize the increasing mental health problems our youth are suffering. We refuse to recognize that our politicians and media politicize events for their opportunity disregarding experts who tell them they are wrong. Currently we see White Right-Wing Christian terrorists week after week in the USA killing more Americans than Muslims ever did since 9/11. In that case politicians readily look for the mental health issues and avoid the “radical right” narrative. Our politicians need to stop politicizing the division between religions and calling it a National Security issue when it’s clearly a mental health one. Ali like Garoulos both were criminally insane both terrorized but neither were terrorists. Not a word mentioned about mental health here

Far-right protesters including man in Trump mask attack socialist bookshop while chanting about Muslims | The Independent

A spokesperson for Bookmarks declared the incident a 'fascist attack'

In memories of Kristallnacht

The owners of Britain’s largest socialist bookshop have said the store was attacked by masked far-right protesters who chanted fascist songs and threatened staff.

Authors and an MP were moved to express solidarity with workers at Bookmarks Bookshop, on Bloomsbury Street in central London, after around a dozen people stormed in on Saturday night.

It followed the conclusion of a “Make Britain Great Again” protest against the censoring of a conspiracy theory website nearby.

The far-right group filmed their actions before swiftly deleting the video from their YouTube channel, however a copy was saved and uploaded again on the channel Far-Right Watch.

It shows protestors screaming abuse, tearing up signs on display in the shop, and brandishing books with titles they disapprove of.

Why Does the Far Right Hold a Near-Monopoly on Political Violence? | The Nation

League’s Center on Extremism, told NPR that “when you look at murders committed by domestic extremists in the United States of all types, right-wing extremists are responsible for about 74 percent of those murders.” The actual share is higher still, as violence committed by ultraconservative Islamic supremacists isn’t included in tallies of “right-wing extremism.”

The Rise of the New Right: | The Monthly

Two thousand and twelve was a bumper year for the breaking of political conventions in Australia. For the first time, a national political leader was investigated and pursued for her professional conduct before winning elected office. Led by the Australian newspaper, a group of right-wing fanatics ran a smear campaign against Julia Gillard targeting her time working for the Slater & Gordon law firm in the early 1990s. No other prime minister has been treated this way, judged on their pre-parliamentary career rather than the traditional focus on parliamentary service.
