The organization which spread the lies used as a pretext for the genocidal war against Gaza is seeking funds from the European Union.
ZAKA – nominally an emergency rescue group – won praise from Benjamin Netanyahu for playing an important role in influencing public opinion as his government sought international backing during the initial stages of the genocide. Israel’s prime minister repeated claims fabricated by the group that Hamas burned and killed dozens of children on 7 October last year.
Book Banning,Burning and Restricted Speech have returned to the highest forms of education
The school year is kicking off, and American universities are starting the semester with scaling back students’ First Amendment rights, with the goal of stopping criticisms of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
While hanging around waiting for Rommel to invade in what was then British Mandate Palestine, the AIF Sixth Division under General Blamey was inspired to hold a surf carnival in Gaza. This was the population’s introduction to the sport. Legend has it that Max Rose from the North Narrabeen Surf Lifesaving Club was presented the Blamey Cup by Blamey’s wife.
Fifty-four years later, Israel had pulled out of Gaza, set up its satrap Palestinian Authority on the West Bank, and put Hamas-governed Gaza under siege.
Jonathan Cook on Tony Greenstein’s exposure of a glaring omission in a new biography of Rudolf Vrba, the first Jew to escape Auschwitz and an intense critic of the Zionist movement.
“Vrba was hugely critical of the Zionist movement for collaborating with the Nazis, and had no love for the Jewish state it spawned.”
Australian commercial property insurers have been forced to cover declared ‘terrorist incidents’, and some insurance customers are asking whether they’re being gouged by the terrorism levy. Zacharias Szumer investigates
The Palestinians are no different. Whatever “terrorism” they have committed, it pales by comparison to the monstrous crimes being committed against them with full Western complicity. The mainstream Western media may pretend the 7 October terrorist attack was the trigger, but the injustice and suffering inflicted on the Palestinians dates back three-quarters of a century.
Importantly, it has made me reflect on the conflict continuing today, but also to go back to where it really started… back about 120 years ago with the arrival of the modern Zionist movement in 1896 declaring Eretz Israel as a national homeland for Jews, the Balfour Declaration of 1917 to establish a ‘national home for the Jewish people’ in Palestine, encouraging the establishment of Jewish settlements in Palestine and the beginning of Kibbutz as community focussed farming and the settlement after WWII as sanctioned by the UN.
The attitude to Palestinians throughout this time, and into the UN support for the establishment of Israel has been that of colonial occupiers treating indigenous peoples as barbaric, uncivilised, less than human, even terrorists, and able to be shoved aside for the new claimants to the land, as has occurred time and again in Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean and even here in Australia.

It seems highly underquoted when the damage done is viewed
The Israeli Defense Ministry said Monday that the US has delivered over 50,000 tons of weapons and other military equipment since the start of Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza, demonstrating the Biden administration’s staunch support for the slaughter.
Since October 7, 107 ships and 500 transport planes have brought US military aid shipments to Israel. The Israeli Defense Ministry said the deliveries have included “armored vehicles, munitions, ammunition, personal protection gear, and medical equipment.”
The ministry added that the US support was “crucial for sustaining the IDF’s operational capabilities during the ongoing war.”
Back in April, President Biden signed a bill into law that included $17 billion in additional military aid for Israel on top of the $3.8 billion the country receives each year. The State Department recently approved a series of major arms deals for Israel worth $20 billion, including a new fleet of F-15 fighter jets.
With Palestinians in Gaza fearing a polio outbreak, health workers warn Israel’s ongoing military offensive will severely hamper efforts to counter it.
Donald Trump has been made the central character in U.S. politics around whom everything revolves. But whether he wins or loses, the imperial status quo will be unchanged, says Caitlin Johnstone.
The history of Israeli Institutions strikes me as if this is another smokescreen and they are now trying to deflect the blame from the actions of their Government and the IDF elsewhere given the prevention of care reported by actual doctors in the field for months. If it’s genuine then my apologies to those doctors but let’s face it we’ve witnessed too many Israeli doctors forgoing their Hippocratic Oath
The organisation Physicians for Human Rights Israel issued an urgent global appeal on 17 June on behalf of the children of Gaza, demanding “immediate and decisive action from the international community to prevent further loss of life and to address the dire and immediate needs of Gaza’s most vulnerable population”.
Israeli physicians have reminded us that the care and protection of Gaza’s children is a human obligation — will we heed their call?
The verse “Shema Yisrael” is a testimony to God’s oneness. The same idea is central to Islam. A linguistic connection shows Judaism and Islam share much in common.
