Dutton avoids responsibility and simply victim blames for his transgressions.

Mr Dutton has stated that Australia should not help poor Nations which have done little to increase global warming, while Prime Minister Albanese has left the question open at present. Australia is one of the world’s largest exporters of greenhouse gases; hence Australia is partially responsible for the plight of millions of people overseas. The LNP view of having “No Duty of Care” for young people falls into a similar belief as not caring for people when the emissions exported by Australian fossil fuels corporations is deadly for people especially in poorer countries, and to a lesser extent for Australians. The effect of greenhouse gases knows no borders.

Climate action advocates reiterated demands for urgent measures to rein in global heating after the World Meteorological Organization warned Thursday that there’s a 40% chance the planet will temporarily hit 1.5°C of warming in the next five years. The WMO, a United Nations agency, also said in its update that there’s a 90% chance at least one year between 2021 and 2025 will be the hottest on the books—a record currently held by 2016.

Scott Morrison’s religion and the bushfire crisis

Contrary to what Science and Insurance Companies tell us but similar to what Tobacco companies would like us to believe  about smoking and cancer. There’s no direct proof smoking causes cancer and the science is fake and the Insurance Companies wrong. (ODT)

As firefighters in four Australian states struggled to contain unprecedented bushfires that threatened life, property and wildlife, Prime Minister Scott Morrison argued that there is no direct link with Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Morrison claimed there is no “credible scientific evidence” that cutting our emissions could reduce the intensity of bushfires.
