Trump Says He Would Accept Dirt On 2020 Opponent From Foreign Government | HuffPost Australia

Trump admits to his view of Life, and Elections all’s Fair so that’s why there is no Collusion or Obstruction. Unless you get caught and even then you plead NOT GUILTY (ODT)

President Donald Trump said that he would accept information from a foreign government on his opponents in the 2020 presidential election and suggested during his interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that he also wouldn’t need to alert the FBI.

Trump’s remarks to ABC are alarming considering the special counsel’s Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

Stephanopoulos reminded Trump that FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress during a hearing that the FBI would want to know if a foreign government was trying to influence a U.S. election.

However, Trump disagreed with Wray.

“The FBI director is wrong because, frankly, it doesn’t happen like that in life,” he said.

He did not cite examples of reporting that had angered him, but in the afternoon the Times cited “officials from both countries who are familiar with the negotiations” when it said Mexico agreed the steps contained in the deal “months earlier” in meetings with former homeland security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Trump, who spent the day at his golf course in Virginia, did not immediately respond to a report which also said it was unclear if he “believed that the agreement truly represented new and broader concessions, or whether the president understood the limits of the deal but accepted it as a face-saving way to escape from the political and economic consequences of imposing tariffs on Mexico”.

Three months into the campaign, Trump’s support has fallen to 46 percent, while the democratic socialist has risen to 54 percent.

Real-estate developer Donald Trump in 1992 lived in a New York luxury apartment, travelled by limousine and had personal bodyguards. That year, he also reported a negative $US750 million ($1.08 billion) adjusted gross income to the IRS.

Trump is the primary “expense” that drains his companies dry to the state of Easter eggs “hollow” and all debt and then they simply implode. There is nothing new particularly when banks aren’t regulated. He gets loans from banks too scared to declare their over risk and  first valuing assets and packaging not on collateral security of the company but on a dream. He doesn’t do the financing himself but happily pays a premium for any broker or banker that will secure the loan on a 0% asset.

Get the money spend it as wages and expenses on himself  then devalue back to the real  asset assett value and bankruptcy or reveal the banking folly. Every banker shyster and broker will help avoid the worst if the commissions are high enough and more commissions. All he needed to hand his request to Wall St  and they’d jump. They after all they created the art and caused the GFC and sent nations to the wall like Greece.  Mind you, you the paid rating and credit agencies handsomly to assist in the scam but that wasn’t Trump’s problem. Effectively Trump was always the face of a scam, a Ponzi scheme, a chain letter a business that shared profits with the top end of town. There was never anything new to be seen just bigger. All a little bit legal but a top down scam that the nation bailed out.

Alan Bond said it if your looking for a small loan the banks own you.  When that loan is too big you own the banks because they can’t reveal it. The difference Bond went to jail aan Trump became President. (ODT)

‘An erosion of commitments’: Trade talks in trouble as US accuses China of backtracking

Donald Trump has decided to increase tariffs on US$200 billion worth of Chinese goods.

What seems to be missing is blaggart Trump not only said he’d raise the 10% tariffs already in place but he’d add 25% on $ 200 bill goods more. This seems as much a backdown than anything else. But it is an action nevertheless he says is good for the economy. He also says it’s not a cost to Americans because the Chinese have to pay it?? The man certainly said the same about the wall didn’t he??. Americans don’t have to pay?? (ODT)

Donald Trump’s top trade advisors have accused China of reneging on promises made during recent negotiations and confirmed that the US will increase tariffs on US$200 billion ($286 billion) worth of goods this week.

When the US President tweeted about the tariff hike on Sunday, local time, many investors and analysts hoped it was a short-term negotiating tactic designed to extract a better deal from China.

Donald Trump is big on Twitter, but are Democrats now beating him at his own game? – Donald Trump’s America – ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

In simple terms, the interaction rate is a calculation of how many likes and retweets you get compared with your number of tweets and followers.

Think of it as a proxy for how much people are vibing with your content.

And Mr Trump  is going backwards — dropping from 0.27 per cent over the previous 12-month period.

So as the President racks up followers, he’s not necessarily gaining new supporters.

In all, Mr Trump comes 16th for interaction rate compared with all the declared Democrat candidates.

In a country like the United States that doesn’t have compulsory voting, one of the key challenges for a candidate is to get voters engaged and to the ballot box.

Mr Trump might enjoy having millions of followers, but that doesn’t mean much if they’re peppered across the world and made up of looky-loos and journalists on the POTUS beat.

If a rival politician with even a fraction of the followers can mobilise an engaged base on social media, it could build.

J’accuse Donald J.Trump | The Smirking Chimp

Donald Trump’s improbable rise to power and his attempt to stay in power is driven by ceaseless attacks on black and brown people, on immigrants, on Muslims, on his steadfast refusal to condemn in no uncertain terms Nazis as evil, as did Vice President Pence after Poway. Trump offers condolences and notes the cops got their man.

But from the President of the United States, there is no clear condemnation of murderous bigots who become terrorists and their hateful ideology unless they are Jihadist killers. There is also no attempt to control the purchase, spread, use, manufacture of assault weapons, or the ability to sue the gun makers.

Mueller report: Trump ‘tried to get special counsel fired’ – BBC News

The report says that in June 2017, Mr Trump called Don McGahn – then a White House lawyer – to try to get Mr Mueller removed over alleged “conflicts of interest

Mr McGahn told the special counsel he resigned after feeling “trapped because he did not plan to follow the President’s directive” and would not have known what to say to Mr Trump had he called again.

The report also reveals:

  • Mr Trump reportedly used an expletive when the investigation was announced, adding: “Oh my god. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency”
  • Mr Mueller examined 10 actions by the president in regards to obstruction of justice, which he said largely “took place in public view”
  • The report says that potential obstruction of justice by the president only failed because members of his administration, including former FBI Director James Comey, refused to “carry out orders”
  • Investigators viewed the president’s written responses to their questions as “inadequate” but chose not to pursue a potentially lengthy legal battle to interview him
  • Mr Trump dictated a misleading response as to what the June 2016 meeting between Russian intermediaries and Trump campaign officials in Trump Tower was about – this had earlier been denied by Mr Trump’s lawyer and White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders
  • The special counsel considered charging the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr, and son-in-law Jared Kushner but did not think they could meet the Department of Justice’s burden of proof that they wilfully broke the law

Trump Cheats at Golf and Just About Everything Else ‘Like a Mafia Accountant’ | The Smirking Chimp

Cheating at golf is nothing new for Trump. In a 2015 Washington Post story, Reilly told Ben Terris about an afternoon when Trump wrote down scores he didn’t actually achieve on his scorecard, conceded putts to himself by raking the ball into the hole with his putter rather than striking it properly (‘He rakes like my gardener!’), and even called a gimme — something a player might claim for a two-foot putt — on what should have been a chip shot,” Terris wrote.

Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump” (Hachette Book Group), out Tuesday.

In addition to the $95,000,000 of taxpayer moneys at one of his resorts, Donald Trump has spent an unbelievable 164 days golfing, or over five full months of his 26 months in office.

Turns out, even after spending that much time on the links, Trump has proven Malcolm Gladwell completely wrong: he has to cheat to win.

And he’s not shy about changing the lay of his opponent’s ball either. His caddy admitted to ESPN’s Mike Tirico that Trump himself threw Tirico’s ball off the green into a bunker.

Reilly also says that his scores at the individual club are routinely fudged and made up. But how could you expect anything else of someone with so little personal integrity that he’d lie about his club’s historic provenance in a fake Civil War battle?

New Zealand: Is Trumpism now replacing ISIL as a major Cause of Stochastic Terrorism?

Thursday’s bloody massacre of peaceful Muslim worshipers at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, appears as I write to be the be work of an expatriate Australian cell of white supremacists who wrote on the internet their admiration of Donald Trump. In his manifesto, the alleged ringleader called Trump the “symbol of renewed white identity.”

But this phenomenon of white nationalists inspired to violence by Trump is hardly new or unusual. The Charlottesville white terrorist who killed Heather Heyer, and his colleagues among Neo-Nazis who chanted “Jews will not replace us,” were in part celebrating that Trump had come to power. He declined to condemn them, insisting that there were very fine people “on both sides.” One side was Nazis.

The 2018 white terrorist who shot up a mosque in Quebec City spent the hours before his murders scouring the internet for Trump quotes and was obsessed by an imagined threat from immigrants.

After 9/11, America’s challenge was al-Qaeda-style asymmetric terrorism. Today, almost all terrorism in the United States has a white nationalist character, and the person promoting stochastic terrorism by the Far Right is the president of the United States.

US negotiating position in disarray ahead of summit with North Korea | US news | The Guardian

Donald Trump admits to being China’s sock puppet happy to achieve what was already on the cards before his first Summit.(ODT)

Donald Trump has said the US will be “happy” if North Korea simply agrees to continue its moratorium on nuclear and missile testing at this week’s summit in Hanoi.

The North Korean’s leader’s moratorium on testing began even before the two leaders’ first summit in Singapore last June, and followed the successful test of a thermonuclear weapon and two launches of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in 2017.

At the Singapore summit, Kim Jong-un agreed to the “denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula” but it soon became clear that the US and North Korea had very different interpretations of what the phrase meant. Since then, the North Korean state has carried out demolition work at a nuclear test site and a missile test facility, but according to US intelligence estimates, has taken no substantial steps towards disarmament.

United States: Looking for a coalition against Trump

Donald Trump’s presidency has birthed a strong Left-wing movement, including some key female political influencers, writes Dr Lee Duffield.

MOST ELECTORS REJECTED Donald Trump by 2.8 million votes before losing to him through the electoral college system and there’s now a push to mobilise that majority against him.

Trump’s surprise 2016 victory stirred up a new Left-wing movement alongside or within the opposition Democratic Party. The time was right for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 29, to win a seat in Congress last year, with Trump’s Republican Party becoming unpopular especially with young voters and minorities.

Trump’s Venezuela gamble is turning out to be a beaten docket

All of this to impress Florida? (ODT)

Trump’s bid for regime change in Venezuela is starting to look like a fatal overreach. With the South American country’s military remaining firmly loyal to President Maduro, embarrassing questions loom over US’ dubious game plan

It is not just Washington’s reputation that will take yet another grievous hit. So too will those European states which have shamefully rowed in behind the tawdry attempt at destabilizing a sovereign nation.

US President Donald Trump was asked by reporters at the weekend if he had a “plan B” for Venezuela if President Nicolas Maduro does not stand down soon, as Washington is demanding. With his typical bluster, Trump said he had several backup options.

But, despite his bravado, it looks like Trump’s bet on effecting regime change in Venezuela is a losing venture. The US seems to be increasingly desperate to salvage its plan to topple the government in Caracas.

Trump Can’t escape having called Nazis “Very Fine People” by SOTU Spectacle

Trump made Bannon his chief strategist in the White House.

Bannon praises Benito Mussolini, who is not as widely vilified in today’s America as he should be. His armies slaughtered 330,000 Allied troops during World War II, including large numbers of Americans. Of 45,000 Italian Jews, 8,000 were delivered to Nazi death camps and a similar number were forced to flee abroad. Some $1 billion was stolen from them as a community.

But guess what. In an opinion poll, 72% of Jewish respondents said they hold that Trump is at least somewhat responsible for the synagogue massacre.

His SOTU spectacle cannot cover up that he helped galvanize those Nazis who invaded Charlottesville.
