For thousands of Palestinian parents, the joy of giving birth rapidly turned to grief when their newborn babies were killed by Israel’s bombardment.

The bombing on Sunday was not the first time that the Israeli army has targeted the tents of the displaced people in Gaza. Just last month, an Israeli airstrike targeted tents housing displaced Palestinains in the al-Mawasi area outside of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing 90 people. Two weeks ago, an Israeli strike targeted a tent housing journalists inside the courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital, killing one person.

The current L-NP Government led by Scott Morrison has a reputation for blatant pork-barreling and rorting public money while electioneering.

Hadera, Netanya and Akka – known in English as Acre – are guilty of “apartheid initiatives that express a goal of achieving racial segregation,” said a lawyer for the group Adalah. Video shot by journalist Rafat Aker last week shows a busload of Palestinian men on an apparent day trip from the city of Jenin being denied access to the beach by police and local authorities.
