Israel October 7 & America September 11 — Self-Hating or Self-Aware?

Questions that have never been answered and won’t be addressed

data now exists to demonstrate without question certain parties were placing inexplicable market bets in the hours before Hamas slaughtered hundreds that an attack — or some calamitous incident — was imminent.

these aberrations have not been explained to the Israeli People. The Israeli government has not addressed this grotesque aspect of that tragic day in any responsible way except to say “the methodology was flawed.”

the fact this foreknowledge of events resulting in market manipulation also occurred on April 3, 2023, which was the original intended date of attack by Hamas.

, it’s acknowledged the Hamas figure was the specific individual who had negotiated in Qatar with the Israeli government for earlier release of hostages taken during the October 7 Attack.

If this be the case, then what are Israeli Citizens to make in the matter of assassinating a lead negotiator?

how does such a killing propel the cause of freeing the approximately 100 Israeli Citizens still remaining in captivity?

this “sends a message” that the Israeli government is indifferent to rescuing those innocents being held in despicable conditions?

There are on average 10 Palestinian children every day who require one or multiple amputations.

What is to be the result of these realities other than a legacy of hatred?

Israel’s mosaic of Jewish ethnic groups is key to understanding the country

There has been a political shift to the extreme right in Israel when it comes to the greed of a minority of Jews who managed to gain control of Israel and its major institutions. Israel has been an army a nation of Generals even before it became a Nation of civilians. Fighters once useful to the West. America Created Bin Laden, Sadam, The Taliban, and the Haganah now the IDF in their own interest and eventually, they all turned against them.

The diversity of Israel’s Jewish population has been a source of tensions, but also strength, over the decades.

The perfect recipe for a real antisemitism crisis – Pearls and Irritations

ICJ Hearings to Examine 57 Years of Israeli Occupation of Palestine

Israeli troops control a large group of Palestinian woman at gunpoint

The woman Israelis are so very eager to disparage must be doing something right.

“Decades of injustice will finally face scrutiny,” said U.N. human rights official Francesca Albanese ahead of next week’s Hague hearings on the legal consequences of Israel’s illegal occupation.

The ICJ—also known as the World Court—will hold a week of hearings on the legal consequences of Israel’s occupation of Palestine, which dates to the Israeli conquest of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip, Syrian Golan Heights, and Egyptian Sinai Peninsula during the 1967 Six-Day War.

Western Governments Share Responsibility for Israel’s Crimes

Israel is preparing to launch a ground assault against the Palestinian town of Rafah, where one million refugees are sheltered. It will likely mean a surge in civilians deaths — for which the US and other Western governments also will be culpable.

Israel’s Big Game Propaganda

Propagandists for Israel are chosen to be characterized not as Israelis but as British and American personalities. How strange? One thing that makes them stand out is they talk rapidly and over the top of interviewers as if it’s a matter of urgency repeating the same repetitive tropes heard time and time again.

Many viewers felt that what they saw amounted to little more than expensive disinformation. “I’m sorry, is Israel seriously airing a SOB STORY PROPAGANDA AD during the SUPER BOWL while SIMULTANEOUSLY BOMBING THE REFUGEES AT RAFAH???????” wrote one viewer on Twitter.

Nevertheless, the Super Bowl was the most-watched American telecast ever, reaching over 123 million viewers. Some say you cannot put a price on that sort of publicity, but apparently, you can, and that price is $7 million. Propaganda it might be, but in America, money talks. And both Robert Kraft and the government of Israel certainly have a lot of it to spend.

The Continuation of Zionist Settler Colonialism

The Greed for which there has never been an excuse

In the face of this devastating colonization, we can take inspiration from those effectively demonstrating what it means to stand in solidarity. South Africa has brought Israel to the International Court of Justice, charging them with the crime of genocide. Yemen’s Houthis have seized Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea, refusing to back down in the face of US-led aggression against them. Palestine solidarity activists have blocked Israeli ships from entering ports around the world, from San Francisco to Sydney. The Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement is stronger than ever before. These are but a few of the examples we may draw on that advocate for Palestinian liberation and recognize the root cause of its hindrance: Zionist settler colonialism. We must continue to stand in such solidarity until Palestinians, alongside all colonized and Indigenous peoples, are truly free.

Israeli airstrike on the El-Remal aera in Gaza City on October 9, 2023.

How the fuck did we get to this failure and refuse to accept that we have simply been wrong since the Belfour Declaration in 1917 and even made it worse in 1948 by declaring Israel a State?

You know there is a shocking decimation taking place when news footage shows only two colours – grey and red. Images of the persecution and murder of Gazans are utterly heartbreaking. Israel is asking the world to allow it to commit genocide. The US, and the West, are saying “Yes, go ahead”.

We have an idea why the IDF shot the 17-year-old messenger they sent in to deliver their message. There was nobody there to receive it. A bad look for the IDF yet again. Wait for the propaganda to flow now. But they need time to invent a story to justify their crime.

The IDF also indicated that it believed Hamas militants to be hiding inside the facility, though it did not immediately release evidence to back up the claim. A spokesperson for Hamas dismissed the IDF statement as “lies.”

Israel’s tentacles stretch far and wide to counter any opposition promoting and bribing their way forward not to reverse their interests by saying sorry. Take a mile and give an inch only reluctantly and only as a ploy until the next push forward.

Ashkenazi moderates were far too slow for this new generation of hot-headed avaricious minority. Their interest is wanting everything promised. A deeper look at Hamas and what terrorism means in Israel-Palestine – Pearls and Irritations

Palestine-Israel. Concept

These are the recent facts and allegations. But is there more that needs to be said if we are to understand Hamas? Is there room for a more complex understanding? We think so. It is, after all, the responsibility of journalism to produce exactly that. In this paper we probe the term “terrorism,” and discuss Hamas’s original, as well as its updated, charter and its largely unknown efforts to use diplomacy in search of a just peace. In the process, a comparison of actions and policies will be made between Hamas and Zionism/Israel.

Oxfam reaction to the Dutch court’s decision to stop military exports to Israel – » The Australian Independent Media Network

Oh Shit and I gave the Dutch Government the credit thank you OXFAM

Oxfam Novib, together with PAX, and the Rights Forum organisations, has won a lawsuit against the Dutch Government for exporting arms to Israel that are being used in the war in Gaza. The Dutch Court ordered the government of Netherlands to stop supplying F35 fighter jet parts to Israel within seven days, due to the clear risk of serious violations of international humanitarian law. The decision comes following the three organisations’ appeal to the court case against the Dutch government for supplying Israel with military equipment despite knowing they are used to commit war crimes in Gaza. The judge concluded, based on reports from Amnesty and the UN, that many civilians, including children, are being targeted.

Dutch Court Blocks Weapons Parts for Israel

Gareth Jennings’s statement is what might be expected from a firm that makes a living of war. The Dutch judgment is meaningful in that it’s the “law” that’s intervening against companies like his and is setting an example.

With over 28,000 Palestinians killed by Israel so far in the Gaza Strip, a Dutch appeals court ruled Monday that the Netherlands must stop exporting parts for Israeli forces’ aircraft due to the “clear risk that Israel’s F-35 fighter jets might be used in the commission of serious violations of international humanitarian law.”

Explaining the potential limitations of the Dutch ruling, Gareth Jennings, aviation editor at the defense intelligence firm Janes, told The New York Times that “if one supplier isn’t able to deliver for any reason, the parts can be sourced from another.”

Therefore, the decision seems to be “a symbolic act rather than one having any meaningful effect on Israel’s F-35 fleet,” he said.

Egypt Threatens Netanyahu with End of Camp David Peace Accords if he Invades Rafah

In 1967 Israel attacked Egypt & Syria later a Prime Minister admitted it was a “presumptive attack” based on no real evidence. At the time in blind opportunity, they attacked an American ship the USS Liberty killing 34 and wounding 171 sailors. The Americans LBJ helped Israel cover up their mindless aggression and land grab. To date, Israel hasn’t paid a cent in any compensation or reparation but was rewarded with the Sinai until 1978 and the Golan Heights that’s been and is being developed and colonized with a project named Trump Heights what value is that? Trump will say billions. News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch has fossil fuel investments with GoGas there https://michaelwest.com.au/compromised-genie-energy-and-the-murdoch-medias-climate-denial/

Although American newspapers depict Egypt as broke, desperate and easily manipulated, my own estimation is that Cairo absolutely will not accept the Palestinians of Gaza as refugees on its soil. The Sinai is already a security problem for Cairo, and 2 million radicalized Palestinians would make it ungovernable. No amount of debt forgiveness would make such a bitter pill go down.

Israel attempted to convince an Egyptian delegation to Tel Aviv on Friday that Cairo should cooperate with the Israeli war plan, but allegedly was rebuffed.

The peace treaty has been the cornerstone of Egyptian-Israeli relations for nearly half a century.

Point of no return: the techno-barbaric state of Israel – Pearls and Irritations

Rafah, Gaza. 12th Dec, 2023. Young Palestinians react following Israeli bombardment at Al-Shaboura refugee camp in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. At least 22 people have been reportedly killed, including seven children, in the bombing by Israel in Rafah on Tuesday. Global calls for a ceasefire have been ignored by Israel and the United States, as humanitarian aid operations have collapsed warning of starvation and disease amongst the Gaza population. This is not a war on Hamas but a war on civilians, the military attack of October 7 the pretext used by a genocidal political and military command to wipe out Palestine once and for all.

Far from wanting to save the Palestinians, the US and its camp followers are lining up alongside their killers. The US provides the arms so the killing can continue. They are all helping to starve the Palestinians by cutting aid to UNRWA. They justify genocide with the ‘right’ of self -defense. They even say they share Israel’s values. Their complicity should see them in the dock as well.

‘America is the mother of terrorism’: why the Houthis’ new slogan is important for understanding the Middle East

The West’s reflexive support for authoritarian leaders who claim to be targeting terrorism is widely seen in Yemen (and throughout the Middle East) as fuelling a symbiotic relationship between oppressive regimes, terrorist groups and Western-led military interventions.

For many in the region, groups like al-Qaeda and Islamic State function, in part, as “tools” that Western-backed authoritarian leaders use to maintain their power. They provide plausible deniability for the violence these leaders use against civilians, or support their pitch that “if I’m gone, terrorists will take over the country”.

Indeed, the complexities that underpin the Houthis’ new slogan help explain why Western policy across the region will continue to backfire.

Put bluntly, people in the region see Western policymakers as blind to their historical record of strengthening the enemies they come to fight. The fact that Western airstrikes are giving the Houthis a legitimacy that was previously unimaginable is ominous.

Now one might well ask why would that be?

Meta’s internal rules around the word “Zionist,” first reported by The Intercept in 2021, show that company moderators are only supposed to delete posts using the term if it’s determined to be a proxy for “Jewish” or “Israeli,” both protected classes under company speech rules. The policy change Meta is now considering would enable the platform’s moderators to more aggressively and expansively enforce this rule, a move that could dramatically increase deletions of posts critical of Israeli nationalism.

Netanyahu’s Position becoming more Uncertain as he rejects Hamas Deal to end War

The Israeli Mafia Don Netanyahu’s position is becoming tenuous. Who is there to replace him surely not either of the two leaders of the minority parties? Ben Gvir a once-declared terrorist or Smotrich the leader of the colonizing invaders?

By Anne Irfan, UCL | – (The Conversation) – The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has rejected a ceasefire plan put forward by Hamas, calling the terms “delusional”. Claiming that an Israeli victory in Gaza is “within reach”, Netanyahu has vowed to fight on until Hamas is completely destroyed. But the US, which is involved in negotiation efforts along with Qatar and Egypt, has said that there could still be a path to a deal. Hamas’s plan came as a counter offer to a proposal put forward a week ago by Israel, the US, Qatar and Egypt.

All the while, the war in Gaza continues. With United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reporting a toll of more than 26,000 Palestinians killed, more than 65,000 injured, and 1.7 million displaced, the UN is now warning that famine is inevitable in the Strip.

As negotiations continue to go back and forth, time is running out for the most vulnerable. The Conversation

As Jews, we do not accept that criticism of Israel’s government is antisemitic

A pro-Palestinian protest in Melbourne in November.

Melbourne’s Jewish Community is divided not everyone supports Israel and they suffer the consequences for coming out saying “Not in our name”. In Yiddish they are real Menschen and behave in a manner Judaism expects Menschliekeitn with Niceness, kindness, decency, and humaneness. They are, however, currently experiencing ignorance and chaos of not only growing anti-semitism but also being threatened shunned, and shamed by their own communities as traitors. These are people to be admired for the risks they take. They deserve a place on a Palestinian wall of the righteous and remembered.

Irreconcilable differences of opinion between Jews are widening, yet the broader Australian public could be forgiven for thinking that all Jews agree. This is in part because most so-called Jewish representative organizations in Australia refuse to represent this diversity of opinion between Jews and have become explicit Israel lobby groups.

The Israel lobby’s conflation of these types of incidents has meant that claims of antisemitism are being exploited to stifle legitimate criticism of Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

The history and concept of antisemitism risks becoming confused and devalued amid a very real fight worldwide against genuine anti-Jewish racism and an increase in fascist activity. It will lead to real instances of antisemitism being dismissed.

Pro-Israel bias grips CNN | The Electronic Intifada

CNN town hall stage

Israeli spokespeople get a few days or a week to make their case and establish the narrative. Then some Palestinian guests are invited on so that the network can make a nod towards balance.

This time has been the worst to date.

The moral outrage from anchors voiced about 7 October is not routinely brought to bear for the horrors confronting Palestinians for well over 100 days. Nor is there any significant awareness from CNN domestic anchors that the conflict did not begin on 7 October but that Palestinians have been suffering from Israeli violence and forced dispossession for over 75 years.

I do not expect Dana Bash to invite back Mayor Hammoud of Dearborn – or anyone else – for a substantive discussion of Israel’s occupation and apartheid policies. It is, however, long overdue, and her anti-Palestinian bias is part and parcel of the hate gripping media and inspiring anti-Palestinian sentiment in the US.

Shortly after Bash’s interview, an inflammatory op-ed in The Wall Street Journal labeled Dearborn as “America’s jihad capital.”

Israel’s dignity will be damaged, Hamas will be crowned winner, but the war will end – Pearls and Irritations

map - destination: Israel

Israel’s leadership isn’t about the wisest course of action it’s about material goals to be achieved.  It’s about control over Gaza and its gas fields. Everything we have seen is a cheap investment for Israel”arms for nothing and land for free for the future return. Even the public relations battle later will be relatively nothing compared with the years of wealth to be had. The precedents for their methods have been set in the historical record. You take as much as possible and return as little as required. Israel has the cultural capital to remain the West’s favorite actor because their supporters would need to admit they’ve been scammed all these 100 years. Far from it if one adds the Ben Gurion Canal to the strategic mix The US and UK have been well and truly co-conspirators in the race to dominate World Trade routes over China. This war is for Gaza’s land, gas and devaluation of the Suez Canal

The wisest course of action that Israel should have taken a long time ago was to voluntarily release the security prisoners as a gesture and not just as a concession in negotiations. But there is no chance of that happening – it is too smart. Freeing 1,500 prisoners, as Hamas is asking, is neither a disaster nor is it painful. It will bring the hostages home. Disaster and pain will only result if they are not rescued.Nor would it be a disaster or painful to bring an end to this cursed war, during which Israel lost its humanity without achieving its goals from the indiscriminate killing and destruction, the likes of which have only been seen in the most brutal of wars.
