UNHCHR: Israel Guilty of Deliberately Destroying Gaza Healthcare and … Extermination

Kol Nidrei on Yom Kippur is one of the unruliest, most liberating, and anarchic Jewish texts. It is our heritage of refusal. We need it today, more than ever, to liberate ourselves from the curse of Zionism that colonized our diverse Jewish worlds.
All those unsounded vows and immoral oaths . . . are null and void

Over the years I’ve learnt to chew and walk at the same time. It’s taken a while, but I think I’ve mastered it. Being able and willing to condemn the actions of Hamas, and criticising Iran while also condemning the callousness of Israel’s incursions into Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon is something I think most reasonable people can and should do.
In recent days I’ve been stunned by the number of commentators who seem utterly incapable of entertaining this wider view. Surely international law, justice and humanity should be the yardsticks by which we judge the actions of the governments and nation states? You can’t be selective about this, – can you? Yet sadly, people are.

Michael West reports.Australia’s mainstream media continues to push the unfounded October 7 narrative of “babies beheaded” and “mass rapes” which gave rise to Israel’s extreme “collective punishment” in Gaza.
Regulators duck for cover as Australian media fails to correct “40 babies beheaded”

Everyone can see it. The bags of children, the bound and executed doctors, the flattened civilisation; the genocidal language of Israeli leaders, the moonscape of rubble and sinews that was once Gaza, the dehumanised humans tormented along their journey to erasure. It is the wrong question to ask – too naive, too much assuming the best of self-serving vampires.
You are being remorselessly gaslit about Israel’s colonisation of Palestine
The more revealing question is asking why they refuse to say it after having seen it, too.

“It was not random, but direct targeting on purpose. Fadi was wearing his press uniform.”

Nicaragua is breaking off diplomatic relations with Israel, the Central American nation said on Friday, October 11, calling the Israeli government “fascist” and “genocidal.”

The Army Chief appears to be wholly oblivious of the fact that India is a ‘High Contracting Party’ to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons of 1981, which prohibits the use of booby-trap weapons. Or was the Army Chief actually voicing the opinion of the Government of India,

Israel uses UN Peacekeepers as shields
An Irish-Israeli diplomatic crisis has been defused after Israel withdrew its invasion force from firing positions metres from a U.N. post in south Lebanon staffed by Irish peacekeepers.

srael has no right of self-defence against resistance to the illegal occupation. Israel cannot both occupy Palestinian lands, and then launch an attack on those lands by citing ‘self-defence’ when occupied populations resist. Neither can Israel treat those resisting in occupied territories as enemy combatants.
Israel does not have a right to defend itself, as our PM keeps saying
Netanyahu dismisses President Joe Biden’s suggestions and Anthony Blinken’s advice with scorn, preferring instead to take the Middle East to the brink of war, sure in his belief that the US is powerless to apply sanctions, cut off arms and demand a ceasefire.
Israel is certain that the US will not permit it to fail.

When the press release showed the Israel army to be a liar they simply deleted it – yet the US is happy for Israel to conduct its own investigations
Tonight Jewish Network for Palestine and the Socialist Labour Network held a joint webinar attended by 320 people. Nearly 500 registered for the meeting. Above is the recording.

The challenge is to sort out the difference, which is true information, which is misinformation and which are blatant lies?
Both in the news and information presented to us and in the way histories have been framed.
And that task is not easy.
