Had there been a universal safety package for all individual Australians the anxiety and the need for work would have bee allayed and stemmed the snd wave of Covid -19 in Victoria. Victoria was the nations most successful state and as a consequence the hardest hit by the precarious casualisation of work. (ODT)

On his Twitter account on Wednesday, Victorian premier Daniel Andrews explained that of the 3,810 Victorians who tested positive for coronavirus over the past three weeks, an astonishing 89% kept working despite their early symptoms.

They simply couldn’t afford to stay home.
