Theresa May has pulled the pin on Tuesday’s crucial Brexit vote, as it became clear she faced a big rebellion in Parliament against the Brexit withdrawal deal she made with the European Union.
The House of Commons was promised a “meaningful vote” on May’s final European Union divorce proposal. However that may not happen until next week, or even next year – and in the meantime May faces a fight for her political survival.
