Meta Considering Increased Censorship of the Word “Zionist”

Now one might well ask why would that be?

Meta’s internal rules around the word “Zionist,” first reported by The Intercept in 2021, show that company moderators are only supposed to delete posts using the term if it’s determined to be a proxy for “Jewish” or “Israeli,” both protected classes under company speech rules. The policy change Meta is now considering would enable the platform’s moderators to more aggressively and expansively enforce this rule, a move that could dramatically increase deletions of posts critical of Israeli nationalism.

Undoubtedly, one of Hamas’ motivations was to negate the view that Palestine had given up its right to self-determination, and that Palestine could be erased. Recall the old delusional pre-Balfour Zionist slogan: “A people without land for a land without people.” Such utterances of this early Zionist utopian phase literally erased the Palestinians who for generations lived in Palestine as an entitled Indigenous population. With the Balfour Declaration of 1917, this settler colonial vision became a political project with the blessings of the leading European colonial power.

Given post-colonial realities, the Israeli project is historically discordant and extreme. It exposes the reality of Israel’s policies and the inevitable resistance response to Israel as a supremacist state. Israeli state propaganda and management of the public discourse has obscured the maximalist agenda of Zionism over the years, and we are yet to know whether this was a deliberate tactic or just reflected the phases of Israel’s development.

Israel war: Hamas plan revelations must force nation to ditch Benjamin Netanyahu

Is it possible to be an Antisemitic Jew I believe  Netanyahu has proved it is. He has raised antisemitism to tsunami levels. Zionists both Jewish and Christian celebrated anti-semitism with the 1914 Belfour Declaration. A Declaration that was not just crooked; it was a contradiction in terms. The national home it promised to the Jews was never clearly defined and there was no precedent for it in international law and was opposed by the people of Palestine who were never consulted. Just as Zionists planned in 1914 and did in 1948  Jenna Price writes

Netanyahu has given people reasons to unleash their antisemitism. I pray he has also given Israelis the power to unleash their votes against him.

Why is that knowledge good news? It means Israelis must be several steps closer to ditching Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the man who must accept not just significant responsibility for the devastation and murders in Gaza, but also for the continuing despair of what remains of the Jewish diaspora. Former Israeli Defense Minister Supports Beheading Palestinians – Stephen Lendman

Ultranationalist Arab-hater Avigdor Lieberman represents the worst of Israel’s lunatic fringe.

He once advocated drowning Palestinians in the Dead Sea or executing Israeli Arab citizens who interacted with Hamas.

He earlier demanded Israeli Arabs declare loyalty to a “Jewish, Zionist, and democratic state,” its emblems and values, along with performing military or equivalent service as a condition for a national identity card signifying citizenship.

He’s one of the most ruthlessly dangerous figures in Israeli history, a criminal psychopath, earlier serving as defense minister and in other high-profile posts.
