The US House of Representatives voted $26 billion for Israel on Saturday to reward it for its ongoing war crimes against Palestinians. Some 58 members voted against the measure, including 37 Democrats. It was the House of Representatives’ most decisive vote of confidence in genocide since the Indian Removal Act of 1830.
The US national debt is $34.5 trillion, up $2 trillion since last summer, against a gross domestic product of $27 trillion. For the debt to run so far ahead of GDP could cause the US economy to crash. That is, the US Congress does not have $26 billion to give to Israel in the first place.
The radio traffic intercepted by the BND makes it seem as though the atrocities perpetrated on civilians in Bucha were neither random acts nor the product of individual soldiers who got out of hand. Rather, say sources familiar with the audio, the material suggests that the troops spoke of the atrocities as though they were simply discussing their everyday lives. Just routine. The Russians have killed so many in Bucha that it’s difficult to decide what picture of a man with a bicycle they’re talking about.

Two mainstream Israeli radio journalists last week incited violence targeting Palestinian citizens of Israel in Lydd – Lydda in English – a city renamed in Hebrew as Lod after its ethnic cleansing in 1948. Readers should be aware that this article will report on profane and violent language, including references to sexual violence. Asked by a Palestinian guest phoning in to their radio show on 13 May if Israeli Jews were “allowed to slaughter us,” host Yinon Magal replied, “Yes, that’s how it will end, correct.” The guest was Sheikh Yusef al-Bazz, the city’s imam, who was explaining why Palestinian youths had come out onto the streets to protest in solidarity with their people in Jerusalem and Gaza. He argued that the responsibility for any rioting lay with the Israeli government. “You forgot the power the Jews hold” in Israel, Magal shouted into the microphone. Magal’s co-host Ben Caspit made similar threats. He told al-Bazz that “you are making a mistake you made in 1947-48.”

Trump is a know-nothing President simply following plans laid down since the 80s after the 6 day war. No country in the Middle East was allowed to establish an Army let alone a number of Arabic and Muslim States and so the demise of Libya, Iraq Syria and Iran were laid out years ago by Israel and the US acting as it’s proxy their reward oil and global dominance. The greatest threat to that plan today is Renewable and clean energy. (ODT)
And there is no end in sight with Donald Trump now tweeting furiously that if the Iranian government seeks to retaliate for Soleimani the U.S. will strike 52 targets inside Iran, including cultural sites, a war crime. Congress will do nothing to stop the carnage because it is just as completely controlled by the Israel Lobby as is the White House.
The blood of the Americans, Iranians and Iraqis who will die in the next few weeks is clearly on Donald Trump’s hands as this war was never inevitable and serves no U.S. national interest. It will surely turn out to be a debacle, as well as devastating for all parties involved. And it might well, on top of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya, be the long-awaited beginning of the end of America’s imperial ambitions. Trump has had three years to learn the lesson gleaned from Iraq and Afghanistan. He obviously used that time to learn nothing.

A fifth or 20% of medical applications submitted in August by patients in the besieged Gaza Strip were denied, by Israel, a permit to leave for medical treatment in East Jerusalem or Israeli hospitals were for cancer patients, according to a monthly report by the World Health Organization (WHO).
On Thursday, WHO published their monthly report on health access for Palestinians in the occupied territories, showing that 18% of the denied applications were for orthopedics and 14% for neurosurgery patients.
Several Palestinian patients have died while waiting for an Israeli permit to get life-saving treatment that is not available in Gaza.
However, according to the report, the approval rate of permit applications for Palestinians injured by the Israeli army gunfire during the border protests was significantly lower than the overall approval rate, with only three out of 53 applications in August approved (6%), 17 (32%) denied and 33 (62%) delayed.
