Far Right Totalitarians in Israeli Cabinet threaten to Crash the Government if it Agrees to Biden’s Gaza Plan

If 95% of Israelis support the war why can’t or won’t Netanyahu call an election? Who will stand io opposition to the current state of war?

The Israeli newspaper Arab 48 reports that extremist government ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich continue to put pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and are threatening to bring down the government if he agrees to the suggestion for a truce put forward by US President Joe Biden on Friday afternoon, calling it an Israeli proposal. Washington officials are calling it the “last chance” for an agreement.

The New York Times explains how gangsters now Govern Israel – Pearls and Irritations

Once you get into the text, however, the review is withering, arguing that the lawbreakers have become the law makers:

“Bezalel Smotrich, the finance minister and the official in Netanyahu’s government with oversight over the West Bank, was arrested in 2005 by the Shin Bet domestic security service for plotting road blockages to halt the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. He was released with no charges. Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s national security minister, had been convicted multiple times for supporting terrorist organisations and, in front of television cameras in 1995, vaguely threatened the life of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was murdered weeks later by an Israeli student.”

Subsequently, the writers note that:

“Prime Minister Rabin was murdered after rabbis passed what amounted to a death sentence on him for his support of the Oslo peace process.”

How Extremists Became the New Face of Israel – ScheerPost

Israel’s religious Zionists are playing a long game, which is not linked to a particular election, individual or government coalition. They are redefining the state, along with its ideology. And they are winning.

Ben-Gvir and his threats to topple Netanyahu’s coalition government have been the main driving force behind the genocide in Gaza.

If Meir Kahane were still alive, he would have been proud of his followers. The ideology of the once marginalized and loathed extremist rabbi is now the backbone of Israeli politics.

Gun Culture, Israeli Style

While the Biden administration displayed a welcome bit of good sense in making it clear to Israel that it would not supply guns to be given to civilians, Ben Gvir is unlikely to allow that to stop him. Few Israelis will object right now to equipping settlers with rifles, as hostility toward Palestinians in general has intensified. But a permissive attitude toward guns will only lead to an increase in violence and, just as importantly, will crystallize the anger felt by both sides, making any hope of justice and reconciliation even more remote.

Netanyahu’s Position becoming more Uncertain as he rejects Hamas Deal to end War

The Israeli Mafia Don Netanyahu’s position is becoming tenuous. Who is there to replace him surely not either of the two leaders of the minority parties? Ben Gvir a once-declared terrorist or Smotrich the leader of the colonizing invaders?

By Anne Irfan, UCL | – (The Conversation) – The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has rejected a ceasefire plan put forward by Hamas, calling the terms “delusional”. Claiming that an Israeli victory in Gaza is “within reach”, Netanyahu has vowed to fight on until Hamas is completely destroyed. But the US, which is involved in negotiation efforts along with Qatar and Egypt, has said that there could still be a path to a deal. Hamas’s plan came as a counter offer to a proposal put forward a week ago by Israel, the US, Qatar and Egypt.

All the while, the war in Gaza continues. With United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reporting a toll of more than 26,000 Palestinians killed, more than 65,000 injured, and 1.7 million displaced, the UN is now warning that famine is inevitable in the Strip.

As negotiations continue to go back and forth, time is running out for the most vulnerable. The Conversation

Israel’s national security minister prefers Trump in power — RT World News

Israel’s national security minister prefers Trump in power

Lets Talk “Terrorist & Terrorism” . Ben Gvir was designated a “Terrorist by the State of Israel”. He is now their Minister for National Security. How is that?

Israel’s “Proud Boy” openly prefers Trump for President and says he won’t be dictated to by Netanyahu or America. It really is a case of the tail wagging the dog.

He first joined a right-wing youth movement affiliated with Moledet, a party which advocated transferring Arabs out of Israel, and then joined the youth movement of the even more radical Kach and Kahane Chai party, which was eventually designated as a terrorist organization and outlawed by the Israeli government.[16][17]  When he came of age for conscription into the Israel Defense Forces at 18, he was exempted from service by the IDF due to his extreme-right political background.[18][15]

Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has criticized US President Biden’s approach to Israel’s war in Gaza, arguing that the situation would be “completely different” if former President Donal Trump was in power.

“Instead of giving us his full backing, Biden is busy with giving humanitarian aid and fuel (to Gaza), which goes to Hamas,” Ben-Gvir told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday. “If Trump was in power, the US conduct would be completely different.”

Itamar Ben-Gvir, who was appointed as a National Security Minister in December 2022, is known for his far-right views. He previously called for the occupation of Gaza and the expulsion of the Palestinian population from the enclave. He also threatened to bring down Netanyahu’s governing coalition if the PM is too soft on Hamas.

With World's Eyes on Gaza Genocide, Ben Gvir Unleashes Sinister Plot in West Bank

Perhaps Ben-Gvir’s greatest achievement, so far,has been his ability to create a perfect amalgamation between the political interests of the settlers, the government, and its security apparatus.

The war in Gaza is a perfect opportunity for the far-right National Security Minster to achieve what he really wants: a religious war, one which will ultimately lead to the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, not just from Gaza but from the West Bank as well.

Gaza: Israeli Barbarism With US Support – CounterPunch.org

As for the fanatical Israeli government and the IDF chiefs that are carrying out the slaughter, they are beyond rational engagement. These men, and from what I can see that are all men, are driven by one thing only, its not revenge or some perverted sense of justice, it’s hate. Hate so dense that no light, no compassion and certainly no love can penetrate. Hate so dark it cuts the perpetrator off from their own humanity and allows them to commit unimaginable atrocities again and again and again.

Israel: Ultra-Far-Right Ben-Gvir Given Nat’l Security Ministry – As though KKK took over Homeland Security in US

The Israeli newspaper Arab 48 reports that the Likud Party of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu signed a deal on Friday with what the paper calls the “fascist” Jewish Power party of Itamar Ben-Gvir giving the latter the post of minister of national security. Jewish Power will also get the ministry of heritage, which oversees religious sites, including, potentially, Palestinian ones or those shared with Palestinians. It was also given the ministry of the Negev and Galilee, which, according to BBC Monitoring, “regulates settlement expansion” in the West Bank.
