Garcia-Romeu is wary about people believing that psychedelics might offer a “magic pill that will solve all their problems. “I always say, ‘This is not going to pay your bills, it’s not going to wash your dishes, or fix your relationship with your estranged family members.’ “You don’t just take a pill, and all of a sudden you’re in fantastic shape.”
