One could argue that the promise of wealth and freedom has been lost and is accelerating in the West. China has fed 1.3 billion people via strict social engineering. The West particularly the USA and Australia’s want to be like America is losing that battle and citizens are in fact spiralling into both physical and psychological poverty with governments racing towards increasing surveillance and militarisation. Mao’s legacy lives on but so does the colonial yolk we adopted and it’s becoming increasingly visible. (ODT)
