As Goering put it, “The law and the will of the Fuehrer are one.” Trump’s vision of America is a white Christian male-dominated Herrenvolk democracy. How to make that vision real is up to those below him, and no law should stand in the way.

Once the law is transformed into the expression of the leader’s will, there’s not much we can do to stop him.
