ASPI ‘s Peter Jennings has no qualms about sounding like a member of America’s NRMA when he clearly says over 11,000 civilian deaths half children and some further 30,000 injured that we know about are the fault of Hamas and not Israel. Furthermore that, Israel has the right to defend itself even when the number of Israeli deaths first released on October 7th are falling and witnesses have declared many were killed by Israeli gunfire. How many more unaccounted bodies are buried under that rubble? Jenning’s claim is that the current Gazan body count isn’t to be believed.  It’s an overquote by Hamas. If there’s any misquoting it’s from Jennings the head of our Australian Strategic Policy Institute. How many of those 240 Israeli hostages have been killed by Israel’s destruction of those “tunnels” under the 30 hospitals and countless schools? According to Israel Hamas 100’s of “headquarters” are strategically pinpointed and obliterated along with it their own hostages.
