On our ABC’s The Drum on 5/12/23  An LNP Elder claimed that to  Fan the fires of Insecurity is what Politicians are paid to do. The LNP ( Tony Abbott) did it in opposition and they continued to do it for 14 years as Government and are now back again continuing it in opposition. Remember “Pink Bats” when 5 people accidentally died and how the ALP was blamed. In the meantime, the LNP killed thousands of people and watched them die. While according to Michaella Cash the LNP were ” Keeping them Safe”. How do we forget Robodebt, Covid, Off Shore Detention, Health & Welfare cuts, and Homelessness, all increased benefits of the LNP’s good Federal Government management?

” Despite the fact that this was not the government’s decision, that offenders are released into the community all the time after serving their sentences, that some of this cohort have not committed serious crimes and yet have not seen freedom for years, the media has bought into the idea that “these people” are inherently dangerous, that we must keep them locked up at any cost.
