Donald Trump’s ex-adviser Steve Bannon convicted of contempt of US Congress

The verdict by the jury of eight men and four women, after less than three hours of deliberations, marked the first successful prosecution for contempt of Congress since 1974, when a judge found G. Gordon Liddy, a conspirator in the Watergate scandal that prompted president Richard Nixon’s resignation, guilty.

Steve Bannon Was Just Indicted on Two Counts of Contempt of Congress – Mother Jones

If convicted, the former Trump adviser could face prison time of 30 effen days and a $1300 fine and that it seems deserves months of National coverage and making the man a hero in some peoples eyes. American media can make money out of watching wet paint dry.
