Morrison wasted his time as prime minister. The “miracle” win in 2019 left him unprepared, with little agenda, and just papered over the fault-lines and internal feuds within conservative politics. Whatever the result of the 2022 election, time in power ought not be squandered as it was in the 46th parliament.
