While Israel is an army Hamas is a small military wing, No ships, No Planes, Minimal Hardware. Israel has dropped 65,000 lbs  or 1.5 times more bombs than were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on an area that is smaller and denser than both. Add to that the tank shells the white phosphorus and other killer hardware why has the world turned to support Palestine?

Hamas was voted in by Palestinians in Gaza in a fair election (as agreed by international monitors). It was primarily a welfare organisation providing services and infrastructure for the general population. It primarily still has this role, with an attached small military wing.
