Israel and America bypassed the UN and allowed for the killing of Palestinians. Israel found it convenient to pass its own directives to legitimize whatever it wanted to do. The Hannibal Directive, The Bethlehem Doctrine, The Dahiya Doctrine, Administrative Detention, and Extrajudicial execution are all Israel’s imaginary light sabres to protect them from the UN, ICJ and ICC

We have to start claiming collective responsibility for the wrongs of our governments, which means confronting the dehumanization they use to justify atrocities.
